There must be magic in these, I think. Due to my giant dog's sensitive stomach, I have spent countless hours scrubbing at various locations on my area rugs, but some stains just won't go away. These are actually laid down, briefly stepped on, and then removed. Though I'm not sure if it truly needs to be left for 24 hours, that's how I usually leave it. The discoloration on the pad is visible the following day, but the rug is immaculate. The only two problems I've had are that sometimes the pads aren't big enough and I have to use more than one, and other times they work so well that the rest of the rug starts to look dirty in comparison to the freshly cleaned area, which makes me feel like I need to shampoo the entire rug. However, cleaning anything too thoroughly isn't a bad thing, therefore 5 stars for sure!

Since we first tried it, we have been using this product. It totally eliminates pet stains using enzymes that work with a little wetness and covered with a fresh washcloth. The damp cloth procedure and removing as much of the particles and liquids by blotting before applying this as the last phase may increase your chances that the stain will fade, even though most stain products advise treating as soon as possible for optimal results. Our home is home to an elderly cat. He sometimes fails to reach the litter box. I've tried them all, and this stain remover is without a doubt the BEST! All over the home, our lovable dog has digestive problems. After viewing the "miracle" on QVC, I bought Instaclean. My light beige rug's previous cat vomit stains were miraculously removed. Although the initial cleaning looked fantastic, the carpet was professionally cleaned last year, and the technician informed me that there is an enzyme in cat vomit that is impossible to remove. The dark stains did reappear, so I purchased this solution, and it quickly removed the spots. Since I first used the product about two months ago, the black stains have returned. I'll buy more and review the places once again. A clean-looking carpet feels so much better, even if it just lasts a few months. I'm worried about leaving this apartment.
