I have no idea how it functions; it just does.One particularly mischievous, otherwise housebroken dachshund is *obsessed* with urinating on the rug in the den if he can get in there, but that's a completely different issue. At least this spray makes any less-than-"ideal" (hem, solid) excrement disappear when he does break in. Naturally, I remove as much debris as I can before tackling the stain. It literally disappears before my eyes as I spray the remaining substance. Little evidence of excrement ever having been there is shown when the area is patted with a paper towel. I do follow up with a sanitizing pet stain spray, but it doesn't completely remove the actual poop like Spot Shot does.But there's a significant problem. The spray frequently stops functioning entirely when the nozzle inexplicably breaks. Even though there is still plenty of product in the can, it just stops spraying. I have no idea what the problem is. Cans that were almost full have experienced it previously. And I've always failed to make things right. Therefore, cans are a waste. It's quite annoying. It's not like I throw the cans around and cause them to break; this has occurred to much too many cans for it to be a coincidence. Like any other cleaning product, I use them. They simply quit functioning. I've had to convert to a similar Bissel product, but I don't think it's quite as potent as Spot Shot. It's unfortunate.A word regarding the cost: it is pricey on Amazon. It costs $5 or $6 at my supermarket store.If you can maintain the can functioning, that is an excellent price for a wonder product. Personally, I don't believe the danger is worth the price on Amazon. You have to take a chance when you roll the dice.

For years, I've been purchasing this to use with my Spot Bot cleaner. Although I believe it to be effective, I am unable to distinguish much between the ordinary and Febreeze versions. I sometimes just use vinegar, baking soda, and warm water to clean and neutralise a spot if it is new because I think this is a bit expensive for the amount you have to use each time you fill the chamber on the Spot Bot. Money is saved in this way. I absolutely use this if the stain is older because it effectively removes set-in stains.

This thing is effective!Let me elaborate a little on what I truly mean by that statement. I have an extremely old (and filthy) carpet! I'm currently unable to afford a new carpet. I then made the decision to make it appear as brand-new as I could, which was the next best thing. In light of this, I searched the internet for an inexpensive and efficient method of cleaning and recovering my old, unkempt carpet. I had discovered "recipes" for using household goods to produce my own product or methods to utilize with a rug shampooer when searching online. even on websites that advised utilizing items created for really unclean autos. After that, I discovered Spot Shot. I decided to try it out because it was so inexpensive!Currently, the room I utilized it in is not that big (maybe 13' x 13'). The area is also getting smaller. However, the carpet is, or at least was, unsightly. Due of time constraints and the amount of ground I wanted to cover, I didn't exactly follow the guidelines to the letter. While the carpet may not seem brand new given its age, Spot Shot significantly outperformed previous attempts to remove all of these stains using homemade remedies.I'll reiterate that it most definitely didn't totally erase these old stains; some of them vanished completely and some are still discernible. But if I had to estimate its efficacy, I'd say it did well; approximately 75-82% of the time, there was a discernible difference. These stains on my carpet, if I could estimate their age, would be at least ten years old in some cases. Due to the age of the carpet and to give you an idea of how efficient this product is (and stains). This item is effective. Just not for incredibly ancient stains or markings on carpets.I wish I had the money to buy a new carpet. Spot Shot will work, though, for the time being.I should add that I am not an expert in carpet cleaning and that I did use a full container for this project.To test how much further I can get the rest of these old stains out, I might buy a second bottle of Spot Shot. Additionally, you may use a rug shampooer on top of that.

To ensure that the fabric won't become stained or damaged, I always try any cleaning product on a hidden spot before using it everywhere. So far, this product has worked perfectly. After the fabric dries and appears smell-free after using this solution, there doesn't appear to be any residue either. Spray, stir with a soft-bristle brush (hard bristles may ruin the cloth since the fibers will get caught on them), then pat dry. The spray seems to be excellent even for generally reviving materials! For instance, I have a black interior car with cloth seats that really don't show any signs of wear or grime, but I nevertheless gave them a gentle spritz and blotted them dry with a clean, lint-free towel. To my surprise, there wasn't a ton of dirt (since I get my car shampooed at least once a year), but the towel had a slight tinge from the dirt the seats had left behind.
