My doggo had a gastrointestinal ailment (out both ends), and as is Murphy's Law, he consequently destroyed the one carpet I had in my home. I had the carpet professionally cleaned, which removed, say, 80% of the odor and visible stains, but I still noticed some lingering odor and stains, so I purchased this PetPlus product along with the FH50150. Together, they did a pretty good job of removing the majority of the lingering odor and discoloration, though not completely. At this point, you can kind of lightly detect that something smells different but not exactly like pet excrement, I'd guess I'm sitting at approximately 5–10% of the original odor.I've already tried one application, but I'm going to try another one to see if I can't truly figure this out and get my living room back to how comfortable it was. After I complete a few applications over the course of a few months, I'll update this evaluation.I cleaned a carpet that was about 300 square feet (28 square meters) using 12 to 15 ounces (300 to 400 mL). The 64 ounce bottle I purchased would probably clean 1200–1600 square feet of carpet at that rate. Since this is the first carpet washer/solution I've ever purchased, I'm not sure if this is a problem with either product or if this is just what I should anticipate when cleaning carpets.

Two cats and a 13-pound Jack Russell-Daschund mix with wiry hair make up our household. Little Oscar (the dog) has a rather distinct, shall we say, scent, and the dog and one of the cats shed like they want to go bald. He enjoys scrubbing the carpet as well. I wouldn't describe this deodorizer as a miracle, but I can definitely tell the difference in the carpet's fragrance when I use it compared to when I don't, and I like that it doesn't have a strong perfumey smell. Package of 4 had apparent powder leakage on the bottom and was shrink-wrapped in clear plastic. Before I realised what it was, a trail of white powder was all over my floor. It turns out that the 4 (yes, 4!) boxes all have flawed packaging and are leaking as a result of bad manufacturing (not enough glueing to seal the bottom).
