Being a mom to my second child, I feel more qualified. I used a more conventional, padded high chair for my first child. What a disaster! At every meal, she wiped food on the padded surface, and I was continually washing the pad. She struggled to feed herself since it was so heavy and the tray was too big and tall for her little arms. The tray was also too large for my dishwasher, despite being "dishwasher safe." I made a great decision and got this booster seat for my second child. Its baby-sized design is fantastic. She can comfortably feed herself from the tray at the age of 7 months. Because it isn't padded, the seat is also incredibly simple to clean, and the tray actually fits in my dishwasher. It can be a bit challenging to put on and remove the tray, but that is only a minor complaint. When not in use, the booster and tray conveniently tuck beneath our table, and this booster seat doesn't take up much more space in my kitchen than a regular chair. My two and a half year daughter also easily fits into the booster, but since she is a "big girl," she doesn't use the tray. This booster seat will likely be used by my child for many years to come. Purchase this seat; you won't be sorry!

I got this to replace the Fisher Price duo diner that we pull to the table and utilize (we removed the tray off). Its back kept falling over, and it's becoming old. Anyway, I thought this booster looked good and I loved the reviews.Despite being tall for her age at 20 months, my daughter cannot sit at the table comfortably with this Prince Lionheart booster. I am docking a star as a result. Although I wish it were a little bit taller, she can still utilize it. I believe it is best suited for a child who is at least 2, so I'm storing it and intend to utilize it when she is older and taller.Aside from that, it's a decent seat that's simple to belt, appears comfortable to sit in, and is low profile so you can tuck it under the table without anyone noticing.

This thing is fantastic! When our first child was old enough to start eating solid foods, we ultimately inherited one. Instead of purchasing a high chair of any kind, we ultimately decided to use it permanently. When our second child was born, we then had to purchase a second one.Positives: The chair-securing straps can be adjusted in a variety of ways. It has been used on a variety of chairs, and we have yet to encounter one that it won't adhere to.Speaking of, there are two sets of crisscrossing straps that are simple to fasten to any chair and that never seem to loosen. It is 100 percent secure!It folds up into a cute little bundle and weighs only a little over three pounds, making it incredibly portable. We bring one almost anywhere we eat because it's so convenient and we know it will fit any chair.The children are completely secured by inside straps.The tray is securely fastened. Despite numerous attempts, none of the small ones have been able to remove it.The inner tray of the tray is detachable. This is great for cleanup because you can remove it off the tray after supper, wash it in the dishwasher, and then reuse the entire tray. The large tray would need to be washed by hand and is only seldom necessary.Lastly, because it is height-adjustable, it may grow with the children. Our three-year-old continues to use it as a booster seat.Did I also mention that it converts effortlessly into a booster seat for older children? Just use it and modify the height without the tray!There are no drawbacks that I can think of. We're very grateful that we received one of these and didn't need to shell out money for a high chair (or two!)

Since we are our friends' first to have a child, we have refrained from using the portable high seats that clamp into tables since we believe that, if our friends aren't used to having children around, it would be a bit intrusive. This is a good alternative because we can simply sit her on the grass without worrying about a mess (she always feeds herself).The excellentCustomer service is A . The cost was reduced by $6 the next day after I made my order. Kind of irksome, so I messaged the vendor, and they promptly offered a $6 return. It's only $6, yes, but hey, that's a burrito! So, I'm glad.The positiveAlthough I haven't tried it yet, I adore that it can be machine washed. Update if things don't work out.Love the zipper compartment on the carrying case for the extra components when not in use. The chair straps are there, as well as the wide feet.The waist clip is nice. works perfectly for our needs. wanted a portable feeding chair that was light and slim. This is appropriate! The bag is a good size; it is not as big as our diaper bag. We are ready to leave after I simply sling this along with the diaper bag over my shoulder. Although the chair and tray are both modest, my large 9-month-old infant still has plenty of room. Possibly estimating 18 to 24 months? Even though the seat belt is only 3 pounds, we don't mind because my baby detests having his upper body constrained. Along the seam between the back and the seat, the belt is fastened. It functions perfectly, but flying jumps aren't really what it's designed for! It merely keeps them largely under check. Although I've strapped it to several chairs, it is obviously not as stable as a typical wide-legged high chair, thus I wouldn't leave my kid in it. For a picnic, I've also used directly on the ground, and it worked fairly nicely. I frequently utilize the chair's back pocket, which is a great extra. When packing it up, it's much simpler to just leave the straps linked to the legs. A spoon, bib, and one or two food pouches fit perfectly in the small side pouch of the bag. I'm really pleased with this chair, and Summer Infant has consistently delivered top-notch products.

UPDATE: As a result, the foam topper is ineffective. It won't remain fastened to the ground. Even if I had left the harness straps in place, I doubt it would have stayed in place. Because it clearly states on the box that it can be used with or without the topper, I'm not taking anything away from my evaluation. However, I would like to point out that for what I'm getting (a piece of plastic with a few straps), I would have preferred to pay $5 to $10 less than the $26 I did.My three children are all under the age of four. Because I was so sick of having to wash his Chicco Caddy Hook On Chair, Red every single time he ate in it, I bought this to replace the Fisher-Price Healthy Care Booster Seat, Green/Blue that my 2-year-old was using as a booster and that I intended to put my 8-month-old in. Because it doesn't come with extra highchair tray accessories and still fastens to the chair for the extra safety his age requires, I figured this was the ideal transition seat for the 2-year-old who wasn't quite ready to graduate to his 4-year-old sister's booster Prince Lionheart Soft Booster Seat, Charcoal Grey. The straps are too long, which I discovered during installation, to fasten securely to my dining chair. One strap needed some creative maneuvering to be shortened, but the other is still a touch slack. For that, I deduct a star. The inside foam piece is kind of floating on top of the seat without any real means to fix it, as you can see in the photographs I'll attach. I decided to do this rather than keep the three point harness in place. By removing it and rinsing it off after each use, this may be a pain in the butt or it may make cleaning easier, which is key when you have three kids eating. NOW the Fisher-Price Healthy Care Booster Seat, Green/Blue could truly handle the job of all three of the other seats I listed if you're not like me and don't produce children like hotcakes, or even if you are like me and have several children. The one drawback is that you'd have a lot of trays and covers lying around as your kids get older, but I could have three of those for the same price or less than I've paid for all these other seats. If you only have one child, the Fisher-Price seat may be the only seat they'll ever need. So for the time being, I do recommend this booster as an excellent highchair to booster transition product, but not above the Fisher-Price brand.

I bought this booster to replace the Fisher-Price space-saving high chair for my 2-year-old daughter. She feeds herself at the table while sitting at the daycare, so it just seemed strange to strap her into the highchair at home, and she despised it. This is much more appropriate for the "big girl" that she is rapidly becoming (:-(*) I also wanted my kitchen table to seem clean because my house is swamped with toys and kid clutter.Although it claims to be suited for children as young as 18 months, I honestly can't picture a baby that young using this chair unless they are very skilled at self-feeding and cleaning up after themselves. Up until recently, when my kid was eating, she would make a huge mess, so I had to wait until it was developmentally appropriate to put her in the booster.The seat, like other OXO products, is stylish and well-made. The seat cushion may be taken apart for cleaning and strap adjusting. In the crack between the seatback and the cushion, I find that lots of crumbs do accumulate. There may not be much that can be done about that, but perhaps if the cushion had been attached more flush to the seatback? There is a spacing of roughly one-fourth inch. She is securely fastened in place by strong straps. The chair has effectively restrained her when she occasionally sways side to side while feeling wicked.It is fashionable and practical, and I believe that in most circumstances the chair will be able to glide under the table entirely with this connected. During my search, I was unable to find a comparable product for the price. When fastened to the chair, the seat section is 3.5 inches high, and the seatback, at its highest point, measures around 9 inches. I didn't want anything that was huge and unsightly like the other ones I examined. The taupe hue I bought is lovely, neutral, and looks fantastic.I deducted one rating because of the crumb catcher problem.

Due to the limited space in our dining area, we opted to use this rather than a high chair. Since she first began eating solids at 6 months old, my daughter has used this every day. Ours still looks brand new, and it's quite simple to clean (10 months later). The straps can be taken off and machine-washed. When using the chair at its lowest setting, take sure to remove it entirely once in a while because food can get below. This chair is incredibly simple to fold up and transport, so we have also used it when traveling. If you're flying, it does take up a lot of room in your luggage. It feels secure and is simple to put on the chairs. The "cushion" it came with is more like a cover made of a thin piece of cloth that you connect to the back with elastics, thus I didn't give it five stars. That was the first thing I got rid of since I thought it would cause more chaos than it would truly help as a cushion. I customized the back support rather than using the "cushion," as you can see in the image. Overall, it's a space-saving, portable, and easy to clean high chair substitute. To anyone who needs to conserve room or as a chair for the grandparents' house, I would suggest this.My daughter will shortly turn two years old, and we are still using this chair; it has held up incredibly well. I'm overjoyed with this purchase.Another update: Our daughter, who is now 4 years old, continues to sit on it at the table without a tray. I currently have a 4 month child, so as soon as he starts eating solids, he will be using this chair. I'm happy with my buy.
