I'm actually amazed. For years, we put off getting a headboard for our bed because we didn't want to pay an additional $150–200 and were concerned that low-cost options wouldn't last. Oh well, we were mistaken for a long time.This lightweight headboard exceeds our expectations for the price of $80. extremely simple to install, offers excellent look, and is cozy. In contrast to other reviews, not only did it have all the pieces you need, but it also came with a lovely thank-you note (excessive almost). The L-wrenches, washers, and screws are all contained in a lovely packaging. We are utilizing this with our Ikea BRIMNES queen bed, as shown. The bed frame did not require drilling. I just raised it from behind the bed after setting it to the precise height we wanted. I just wedged some cardboard behind the wide to keep it from wobbling, which not only produces terrible noise but also severely destroys the wall (See picture).Overall, this goes above and beyond what we expected from a cheap headboard. 10/10 would advise.

Because of its relative lightness and the fact that the bolts that attach to the base couldn't be installed because they were too wide for the frame's slots, I'll probably just use a drill to make the holes in the bed frame bigger. The cloth headboard that was supplied for about $65 was ideal for what I required. What, really? What a fantastic offer! Since it is against the wall, I covered the bolt heads with some of those tiny felt pads with adhesive backs to prevent scratching. Actually, I don't even mind if it's fastened to the bed frame. So, keep your expectations in check and you'll be alright. This offer really is for aesthetics, and it looks fantastic, so I was happy to find it. It shouldn't be placed somewhere that isn't up against a wall. The legs and hardware are packed for shipping in a cutout on the rear.

This evaluation is for the twin-size Zinus Banded Grey headboard.Why not a Zinus headboard since I already have a Zinus bedframe? The material is quite plush. I bought brackets in advance because of my foresight. Please make sure to determine whether you require brackets. This comes with all the installation hardware you need if you don't need brackets.Several things could be improved. If your mattress isn't at least 8 inches tall, there is a gap that has to be considered.The measurements are a little odd, but the workmanship itself is not horrible. The headboard can be mounted flush to the bracket on one side, but not on the other, which is about a centimeter off. It was challenging to install on this side. This can be a problem if you don't have much room.The headboard's back is the final item. Unless there are no baseboards, there will be a small space between the headboard and the wall when you push your bed up against the wall. You will constantly hit the wall if you lie up against the headboard. The wall will eventually get scratched as a result of this. I used double-sided tape to stop the headboard from scratching the wall and to muffle the sound it makes when it does.This is a decent product overall. A great product if the circumstances are right.

I immediately hung my headboard up after it came yesterday. I am ecstatic beyond words! It looks fantastic. Okay, I retract that statement. I could have been a little bit happier, which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5. It ODORS... Not too bad, but I complained at the dogs when I woke up numerous times during the night before realizing it wasn't them and even if it was, you can't stop a dog from farting. The headboard was it. Fair enough, it doesn't smell like a field of flowers either, but it also doesn't smell as terrible as a dog fart. I'm hoping the smell disappears in a few days.The nice hidden panel where the legs are housed while shipment is an additional feature that I don't see many others addressing. I mean, can you think of a better place to conceal your, eh, items that may require concealment? Nobody is going to pull your bed out and feel around for a concealed velcro portion, but after reading this review, they might might. But really, I'm planning to hide some cash and perhaps a couple of "bedroom toys" in that panel. Anything less would be a complete waste of time. And I'm going to put a few of those tree-shaped car air fresheners in there if it doesn't quit stinking in a day or two!Did anyone find a purpose for the "e" screws, by the way? When you think about it, a whole box of clearly labeled screws, nuts, washers, and hex tools plus the last step of not touching the "e" package at all kind of screwed with my brain.

This review is for the medium gray headboard, which is exactly how it appears in the picture. To keep the pillows on the bed while I'm in a temporary residence, I required a cheap headboard. Although I purchased headboard mounting plates, I decided not to use them because the headboard is in perfect working order and is the ideal height when placed securely on the floor between the wall and my normal queen bed rails. (I need to acclimate after a lot of "moving," but it won't be a problem as I just plan to stay here for another month.) Leaning against the upholstery while my partner and I watch television is really comfortable and meets my expectations considering how inexpensive it is. The upholstery looks more costly than it is; it is somewhat thick and textured, almost rough (in a good way). The back of this headboard is unfinished and covered in cheap-looking black fabric that appears like it would rip easily, so if you're looking for something high-end or a headboard that doesn't have to be against the wall, choose something different. But it doesn't matter to me. With this buy, I'm quite pleased. The thing was beautifully made and arrived swiftly. The color was amazing, and the fabric was wonderful. Since I had an adjustable bed, I mounted it to the wall; it was simple. There were all the necessary components for mounting to the wall or using the legs. There is also a velco box on the back to house all the parts, so if I decide I need the legs, I won't have to seek for the legs or bolts. I was able to assemble it myself and even got it level on the first try, but it has nothing to do with the headboard. The instructions just said to use your legs, but I was able to fix that problem with a fast 2 minute YouTube video.

The king headboard is acceptable. It is adequate, if not anything you'll want to hand down to future generations or even preserve forever. It appears somewhat cheap because of how glossy it is. It would feel more like the old farmhouse headboards if they had utilised a flat finish. It will appear more appropriate for the room if I spray it with a matte paint, which is what I want to do.Otherwise, the cost is pretty reasonable given what you receive. It was easy to put together and came quickly.

HEADBOARD ONLY reviewI've assembled a good amount of furniture from Big Lots and Ikea. The flimsy wooden dowels and the odd instructions. I'm accustomed to that. I didn't think I would have to really put this headboard together and install it on my bed when it first arrived. I figured I might have to fasten the legs to it. Nope. There are nine pieces to this. NINE. Leg panels, a bottom panel, a middle panel (made of a thinner backing material), a top panel, and a narrow sliver at the very top make up the frame. next three "support" components After understanding that the directions are JUST photos, with no language or explanations of what you're doing, it took me approximately an hour to put everything together on my own. It took some time to resolve everything. For a king size headboard, not terrible at all! Having said that, the headboard appears to be fairly strong; we haven't noticed any flimsiness or shakiness in it. It appears to be a pricey headboard! When my spouse noticed it, he said, "Geez, that's nice. What damage is there? He was so shocked when I told him I got it for $119! Even with the awful instructions, this headboard is of excellent quality for the price and completely matches the color in the picture. HOWEVER. You will need to purchase the hardware SEPARATELY if you intend to mount this to your bedframe. It is not a part of it. I was unaware of that. So the headboard is currently resting behind our bedframe and not yet fastened to it. However, it appears strong enough to lean against the wall without falling or otherwise wobbling.Regarding delivery, we also left a note instructing the delivery person to place the box at the bottom of the stairs because we weren't home and we knew it would be a huge shipment. We live on the second story. Gotta say, UPS did an excellent job disguising the box so that it couldn't be stolen from the road. I hardly saw it until we arrived at the steps since they positioned it parallel to them. kudos to UPS.Good headboard overall. Even though the hardware must be purchased separately, I still heartily recommend it. It's a fantastic deal for a product of excellent quality.(Excuse me for the dirty room and the unmade bed. The past week has been spent moving.)

In terms of sturdiness and creakiness, the bed's IKEA-style setup does, as other reviews have noted, leave something to be desired. However, it's simple to construct this thing firmly as a rock with a few extra hours and approximately $25 worth of hardware store equipment. If you have the time and desire, you may create a piece of furniture that is shockingly good quality. (It also doesn't appear to be inexpensive.) With the adjustments, the total construction time took a reasonably capable man with a drill and a six-pack of High Life roughly five hours. As you slot together the larger pieces, you'll also need a helper to hold everything together.Even while it might seem difficult, it's really not that difficult. Once you've finished laboriously reading the instructions and come back to this, things will be rather obvious if you just buy the hardware.The hardware store will provide the following items for you. If you don't know where it is, just ask someone there, and they'll direct you:8 63mm/2.5 inch "corner braces"a box containing 6x5/8 wood screws. There may be screws included with the corner braces, however they will be at least 3/4" long and will pierce the wood. The corner braces will be attached using 6x5/8 screws.a container containing 1.5 inch long wood screws. Just take the smallest ones they have, regardless of gauge. Anything in that vicinity will suffice if they don't have anything 1.5 inches.Heavy strength felt tape, 1/2 inch broad, 15 feet long. (If you purchase six rolls, you won't run out.)STEP 1: Attach a felt strip over the top of the two interior support beams before attaching the slats that the bed will rest on and putting the whole thing together. This will lessen the likelihood of the beams bouncing around beneath your mattress.STEP 2: After putting the frame together, use the longer wood screws to drill straight through the felt and into each slat of the support beams. Make sure to tighten it up.A flathead screwdriver can be used to force the feeling tape into the slots where the ends of the slats are inserted in Step 4 if necessary. STEP 4: Cut the felt tape into 3 inch strips and insert them without removing the wax paper backing. This will secure the ends and prevent them from rattling inside the metal bracket.STEP 5: Insert the 6x5/8 screws into each of the four corners to secure the corner braces. Since you are merely attempting to strengthen the connection between the side beams and the ends so that they do not flex about, it will be clear where to place them. The top four should be placed horizontally (just above the slats) and the bottom four should be placed vertically, in my opinion (like an L, inside the opening where the drawer will go). There is space, so don't be concerned that you will encroach on the drawers.(If you have wood floors, it's very beneficial to put some felt tape around the bottom of the bed so you can move it without scratching them.)Congratulations, you now have a bed that is incredibly sturdy and subtly elegant-looking.
