I was searching online for the Boston solution I had been using for years because Costco no longer carries it. I came across this and decided to give it a try. For years, I had likewise battled "gunky" RGP contacts. And lo and behold, with this remedy, that has cleared up. I suppose my reaction to the Boston was allergic or something. When I would complain to my optometrist about my contacts being filmy the majority of the time, he never offered switching solutions. It is "lighter" than the Boston solution.

I have been checking for contact in every soaking solution. In 1958, in Boston, Massachusetts, my contact person advised me to only use the "Barns Hind" solution. I had no issues with Barns Hind for 55 years till the firm ceased producing contact soaking solution. I've never had an issue with them. All of the alternative products on the market that I have tried have a flaw. After a few hours of usage, while trying to read a computer screen, or when staring outside on particularly bright days, the contacts tend to "gunk" up. I've used the brand the eye doctor suggested as well as every other brand that Amazon carries. None resolves the issues entirely. According to my study, the Lobob version is the best, however it does occasionally have the issue. It might be attributed to my advancing years. Just be aware that the "gunking" began the month Barns stopped producing their goods. When I called Barns, the polite woman who answered the phone apologized for the corporation discontinuing the product. She couldn't explain why. Avoid searching for "Barns Hind" on Google because you will find a website that claims to provide the product but never actually does. Good fortune.

I need to moisturise my eyes multiple times each day now that I had PRK laser eye surgery a few months ago. These are inferior to Oasys drops (those are very thick, and feel nicer and longer lasting in the eyes). These seem to be of lower quality and are more watery. I recently received scleral lenses, which cover the entire eyeball, along with a hard, orange plunger to remove them. I've been struggling mightily to get them out. The rigid gas preamble (RGP) contact lenses could be inserted and removed using this product as intended. These seem to be identical to what my eye doctor prescribed for me when I initially received mine, however they cost less than purchasing them from their clinic. They've held up well, and the three-pack is a nice touch as I frequently lose my while traveling or at home. They are manageable and around 1 3/8 in length. I haven't had any problems with them yet, and the suction has been good so far.
