fantastic stuff For my needs, these are the ideal size and amount of folders. You can arrange them however you like because they each have their own tabs and tab labels. The colors can also be used to further organize things or simply to brighten up your workspace. I wholeheartedly endorse this stuff, and I implore you to get some. They are an excellent value and unquestionably "worth their weight in gold.":)Highly suggested. They are not completely sturdy, and labeling them can be difficult because of the tabs. For these reasons, I only rated them four stars. Otherwise, I wholeheartedly concur that these are superb!!!

Two days after placing my free Prime shipping order, I had these delivered to my front door. They were perfect when they got there. I thought it was a terrific deal to buy 25 Smead File Folders for $9.99. Finding an equitable purchase in an office supply store would be challenging.COLOR | There are a total of 25 folders in the Jewel Toned Collection, which comes in 5 different hues. I liked each color for what it was. They look good without being excessively feminine or masculine or associated with a specific theme or season. They are colorfully neutral, in other words, Lol!FILE MATERIAL | The stock of papers is of a good enough quality. It is thick enough, in my opinion, to handle the demands of light to severe filing use. It can keep its shape since it is robust enough. Personally, I didn't see any defects with any of mine, including scuffs or wrinkles.HARDWARE | The hangers don't move around in the folders; they stay put. I discovered that the bars inside a desk drawer made for hanging as well as portable hanging file containers work nicely for supporting the folders.BOX | These folders were shipped to me in their original manufacturer's packing. It was protected by an air pocket wrapper and a shipping box.TABS | My review becomes more detailed here. The labels and tabs do NOT impress me. Plastic that is incredibly thin is used to make the tabs. Since the plastic is translucent, I much prefer it than matching the color with the file (as it makes the label writing difficult to see). Although they work, they are rather flimsy. There were precisely 25 tabs in the box. There ought to ALWAYS be a few extras, in my opinion. Give the buyer a little wiggle room; after all, these folders are essentially meaningless without a tab or way to designate them! (*HINT* Smead. *) I don't think it would cost much to add a few extra backups in, based on the poor quality.TITLES | The labels might be even terrible than the tabs. According to my observations, file folder labels are often produced from a long strip (or several shorter strips) of thick card material with perforated lines for simple manual tearing. This was not the situation here. The three provided label strips have the same poor quality and flimsiness as the tabs. They were difficult to tear. Most of the labels had a "furry" edge after they were removed (from the not-so-clean tear). In order to avoid damaging the paper strip, I gently tore away each label, which took longer than I had thought. One thing to note about this situation is that the paper strips did have enough material to produce about 3 extra labels (back to my point about giving the customer a little cushioning)... In other words, you have three chances to goof up your labels before you need to obtain replacement materials.FUNCTION | Although attaching the labels to the tabs and subsequently installing the assembled parts into the folders was difficult, doing so was simple. There are just the right number of spaces to provide each color its own spot without any overlap (5 positions for 5 colors). I'm unsure if that was done on purpose or if that's just how Smead Filing Folders are made in general. But everything went perfectly! It also appears that 25 folders is the appropriate number to occupy the majority of file drawers. The entire set fits well in the desk drawer and works flawlessly with my desktop-mounted mobile hanging filing cabinet.I give these file folders a 5-Star rating overall. The folders themselves are incredibly sturdy, aesthetically pleasing but unobtrusive, and well worth the cost. The labels and tabs are of poor quality, but they fit into the folders easily and stay in place.

Last year, my husband and I moved into a new house, and we were able to set up an office in the extra living room. We purchased brand-new office furniture, and I set out to arrange everything as neatly and efficiently as I could. I wanted some of these file holders to place in the lovely built-in file cabinet on the desk I purchased. These-like file dividers are very inexpensive and the metal hangers constantly seem to bend at the office where I work. They are never straight, and I don't particularly like them. These ones are much superior even though they have the same same appearance as the ones I have at the office. They are quite heavy duty and thick. The metal hangers are really expensive, but they fit my filing cabinet wonderfully. I believe these will survive for a very long time, and I valued the white labels and plastic label holders that were included. These actually helped me a lot to keep things flowing and organized, and I am now able to handle all of our home and work paperwork here in my own office. There is no longer any need to search far and wide for any piece of paper. Everything is neatly arranged and enclosed for security within these files. These were also sent to me very quickly, which I liked.

Plastic hanging folder tabs that are reasonably durable. Product was reliably and promptly delivered. The pack of 25 is decently priced at $4.39 delivered (12.27.2013 - third party seller through Amazon). The tabs fit snugly and firmly in hanging folders from various manufacturers. To precisely name the tabs, we use a Dymo Rhino label printer with a particular color scheme fixed to the white inserts. As a result, each folder may be distinguished from the others with ease. To prevent surprises and guarantee a certain level of quality, we specifically looked for the Pendaflex brand.

For usage at home, I bought two of these file folders. They arrived in a single large box. Each package included five panda flex hanging folders. That was a lovely touch, and I used those right away. They do arrive in one complete piece. Nothing at all was assembled.They each took up the entirety of my [old] desk's file drawer, leaving room for nothing else. They fit effortlessly into our closet cabinet, where they will now be kept, thanks to their size. They are made to be incredibly robust. When I need to access them, I have no trouble taking them out and moving them to my desk before putting them back in the closet. Additionally, their layout makes it simple to locate what you're looking for. These specific file holders have a sturdy bottom, which is an additional advantage. It won't be lost on the floor forever if something does fall out or through. It is merely at the folder's base.These will be put to good use for a very long time. When my wife saw them, she too liked them. If we were to order more of these in the future, I wouldn't be shocked.

I needed to purchase 15 boxes, 25 per box, of legal hanging file folders. I then looked at the prices on Amazon and all the other main office supply websites, and this was the greatest deal. My 15 boxes arrived.These hanging file folders work really well. For a number of reasons, I favor the recycled green ones. They appear professional, are less priced, and use recyclable paper. I like how they look.The big tabs are excellent. Longer tab titles can be typed, or one can leave space and reuse the same tab by crossing out the previous writing and using the empty space. I like to save time and do my own readable printing on these tabs rather than using a label machine, but that is a personal preference.A well-known brand of hanging file folders is Pendaflex. There is nothing wrong with these that I can see, therefore you cannot make a mistake. They are equally durable as every green file folder you have ever used. Because of this, value matters. I suggest purchasing this item.

These are what I chose because of the hue. The army green or, even worse, the uninteresting basic hues were not what I wanted. I didn't give the size any thought when I hit Buy It Now when I spotted these. If I'm being completely honest, I didn't even realize I was supposed to check because I didn't aware filing cabinets were in different sizes. They were a few inches too short when I went to put them in my new filing cabinet as soon as they came. So, while the colors are lovely, the size is not what I needed. Thankfully, returns are not too difficult.

Arrived in a plain Amazon box, as if they had purchased a million of them and then simply divided them into groups of 25 and packed each one individually. They had a little wetness smell, and the metal hangers seemed to be attached to the folders by a 1/16-inch gap, which suggests that the folders might not want to sit quite straight in the track.

These Pendaflex hanging file folders are not as durable as others I have tried, despite the fact that I have been using them for years. The metal is more flexible and the paper is thinner. Because it was so soft and flexible, I actually got one stuck on my file box when filling it and bent the metal piece. It easily bent back and is still functional. These are robust enough to operate well in my home office even if they were made for more lightweight use. The hue is lovely. They could be slightly darker in person because I used a flash, but the picture is quite realistic. For my personal office, I would reorder them, but if I were ordering for my place of business, I would choose the more durable Pendaflex files.
