Do handheld vacuums work on carpet?

Handheld vacuums are great for quick cleanups on hard floors, but can they really tackle carpets? The answer is yes, but there are a few things to keep in mind. MOOSOO Handheld Vacuum 12KPa Cordless 1.1LB Ultra Lightweight 30 Minutes Mini Hand Vacuum Cleaner with Car Charger/Charging Dock Review:

I just needed to charge this vacuum cleaner for about 10 minutes before it was fully charged after I got it last night. I cleaned some baseboards and the wooden staircase, and it worked beautifully. It's nice on the wrists because it's not enormous or heavy. Really pleased with it; it removes dust and dog hair from baseboards and stairs. Between the lower suction and the higher suction, I used it for around 15 to 20 minutes, and the charge was still there. Given that I've just had it for 24 hours, I'll update this post if it breaks or develops problems in the next weeks. The warranty is only valid for one year, which is disappointing. I hope it keeps working perfectly; if it does, I might acquire a second one for upstairs.8/27-I contacted MooSoo customer support to ask for a replacement HEPA filter for my vacuum, which is free according to the owner's manual, after having this vacuum for a few days. "Melody" responded in less than 24 hours. There was a delay caused by my inability to write my Amazon order number correctly, which is entirely my fault, but she is already sending me 3 more HEPA filters absolutely free! The fact that the filters are washable and reusable and will last me for a while makes me think this is very amazing. Fantastic client service!I've also thoroughly vacuumed my car, used my new vacuum several times, and moved around the house with it while the batteries are still charged. To increase the battery's lifespan, it is advised to leave the vacuum in the charging base while not in use but to wait to plug it into an outlet until the battery is completely depleted.I truly wish I had bought a second hand vacuum to store upstairs for small messes because I'm so delighted with it so far! For a fifth of the cost of a Dyson or other "cord free" vacuum, this has proven out to be an excellent purchase!Update 9/1: I ordered a second vacuum for another room in the house, giving me two for rapid pickups. I also worked with MooSoo customer support to arrange for the free delivery of three extra washable filters! I'm so glad I found this business!

Robot and Hand Vacuum Bundle Review:

I would give this product five stars if I knew it will live a great, lengthy life.I have carpeted stairs, and in my five years of living here, I have yet to discover an effective, quick, and simple cleaning method. The steps were cleaner than they had ever been since I moved in just five minutes after I charged this bad boy up and used the motorized brush attachment to attack them (the vacuum's canister contained cat hair as evidence). My cats' litter boxes are in my guest bathroom, so I went there right away. Yes, this means that loose trash gets trampled all over, knocked into baseboards and corners, and easily cleaned up with the provided crevice tool.Since I am the world's worst/laziest housekeeper, I am not kidding when I say that this item could completely change how tidy my house is. Today, the vacuum's first day in my home, I've already suggested this strong sucker (pun entirely intended) to around six different people, and now I'm offering it to you.

Hikeren Handheld Vacuum, Hand Vacuum Cordless with High Power, Mini Vacuum Cleaner Handheld Powered by Li-ion Battery Rechargeable Quick Charge Tech, for Home and Car Cleaning, Wet & Dry-Orange Review:

I was surprised by how compact this vacuum was when I first opened it. I plugged it in and started charging it. There is never a shortage of crumbs or magnetic sand to clean up while living in a home with tiny humans. There is nothing more annoying than attempting to teach your 5-year-old to clean up the mess they make, watching painfully as 30 minutes go by as they struggle with a broom and dustpan, resisting the want to just do it yourself, just to get through it and realize you still have to clean up behind them. The more I considered it, the more I realized that the size was actually ideal because it is tiny enough for them to manage, it just takes them a minute to complete the task, and I don't have to follow them thereafter! Now let's talk about chamber size. Although the vacuum was smaller than expected, as has previously mentioned, I can't think of a mess that it wouldn't be adequate to use on (unless it's a whole box of cereal). I was worried that the vacuum's suction would be poor when I initially switched it on, but much to my surprise, the suction actually quickly ramps up and is very strong. Cost-wise, it represents decent value. I gave it a full charge, and despite using it frequently, the battery has not yet started to fail. The fact that it is smaller has actually worked to its advantage because I can store it discreetly and easily, and it is more than enough for all of your typical daily demands. It does include a few attachments, and keeping everything together is a wonderful benefit. It also comes with a handy storage bag for the vacuum and attachments.

Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Handheld Vacuum, Corded, 33A1 Review:

Holy sh*t! Do you have reservations about purchasing items online? ME TOO! I therefore assumed that all of these glowing evaluations were a total hoax. I've genuinely purchased every vacuum type available, even the Rumba, which is about as intelligent as a q-tip. But I was running out of options because I have four cats and a Golden Retriever. According to the proverb, a picture speaks a thousand words. Check out my! It should be noted that the "before" photo was shot on my dog's bed AFTER it had been washed and dried. Look at all that hair that was left behind! And only THREE MINUTES were spent vacuuming her bed before the "after" photo was shot. I'm a done deal! Just so you know, I have never spent the time reviewing a product.

Homasy Portable Handheld Vacuum Cleaner Cordless, Powerful Cyclonic Suction Vacuum Cleaner, 14.8V Lithium with Quick Charge Tech, Wet Dry Lightweight Hand Vac Review:

Cleaning automobiles can be challenging because suction doesn't work well on carpet. On a hardwood floor or a surface similar to it would be OK. I believe it has excellent battery life, which may be the reason I decide to keep it.But if they can make the following improvements, the product would be fantastic.2) More suction; 1) more practical tool, especially the pet brush tool to make it simpler to use on carpet and pet hair. Compared to many others in the class, this suction is somewhat feeble.3) Hand free and stress-free dumping – I detest having to use my hand to remove debris from the vacuum.4) Lighter weight — it's kind of heavy right now 5) Longer extended tool design — see B

BLACK+DECKER dustbuster Handheld Vacuum, Cordless, 16V (CHV1410L) Review:

Don't be duped by his dapper appearance. Litter flinger, this cat. Sending cat waste into space is like to his own personal cat expedition. I get the traditional heavy kitty litter since the ultralight variety really flies. This hand vacuum also collects everything. It is only used for litter at my home because it would be disgusting to use it elsewhere. So, a win for kitty litter.

BLACK+DECKER dusbuster Handheld Vacuum, Cordless, Flexi Blue (HHVI315JO42) Review:

Due to the Black Decker cordless lithium hand vacuum's small weight, I had my doubts regarding its quality when I initially opened the box.Along cleaning the hand held vacuum, the box also contained two attachments: a crevice attachment for small spaces and a brush attachment for furniture and stairs, as well as a charging cord, reusable bag filter, vacuum wall mount, two amounting screws, and two plastic wall anchors.I turned the appliance's power switch to the "on" position to test how simple it would be to turn it from the "off" to the "on" position, so I was astonished when the vacuum powered on even though I hadn't charged it yet.I was particularly pleased to see that the size of the drill bit I would need to use to make the pilot holes for mounting the vacuum's wall-mount bracket was specified on the wall anchor and screws packet (2 plastic wall anchors and 2 screws came in each packet). Before using it, I charged the vacuum for approximately 20 minutes, and I was happy to discover that I was able to vacuum up all of the cat litter that was lying about our cat's box! I've always had to haul out our heavy floor vac to handle this, so I'm overjoyed that I can now quickly reach for the hand vac throughout the day! It was simple to remove the dust collection bowl from the vacuum unit; all I had to do was click a release button that was located conveniently on top of the handle.I was particularly happy to learn that after placing the vacuum on its mounting wall bracket, I may leave it plugged in so that it would be available anytime I need it. When charging is finished, the charger automatically lowers its power usage.I spoke with a helpful customer care representative on the phone for a few minutes and registered my vacuum for the restricted 2-year warranty (also had the choice to register it online as).Overall, this vacuum cleaner was a wonderful purchase for the money.

BLACK+DECKER Handheld Vacuum, Cordless, Chili Red (HNV220BCZ26FF) Review:

The batteries in hand-held vacuums like this one, many of which I possessed (and were made by Black Decker), don't hold up for more than a few years. Unfortunately, they don't have replacement batteries that are inexpensive or easy to install by a user (if they even exist), so why bother? I therefore don't often evaluate these by their batteries. For bigger chores, I also have a "real" vacuum. I need something to clean up little spills, dust, dust bunnies, and other small duties. This is quite effective in the situation. It appears to have strong suction, and so far, it has done an excellent job of cleaning up little spills like rice in the kitchen and sheet rock dust from installing a new towel bar. Additionally, the pricing is really reasonable.I've also read a few complaints regarding these vacuums only having a "ON" button that you push and hold. Since you hardly never use this in the always-on state, this is actually not a problem. When holding the device, your thumb will naturally rest on the button, which is located on the handle. It is simple to press and only turns on when necessary. The compact "docking" stand for the wall, which was easily fastened to the wall using the two included screws, was especially appealing to me (and molly bolts if needed.) A little "wall wart" charger that doesn't take up much room and is firmly fastened to the dock serves as the charger. It doesn't get lost when moved, which I enjoy. It doesn't matter to me whether it has a charge light or not because I always leave this docked on the stand when not in use. When ready for usage, a charge will be applied. Additionally, continuous charging does not affect the lifespan of Li-ion batteries. For me, the size of the docking stand is the sole drawback. The device comes with two tiny attachments, one with a little brush and one for tight spaces. However, as there is no storage room on the stand (unlike earlier models of a similar nature), these will be soon misplaced. A stand to carry these attachments would have taken up little additional space given the total size of the device, which is a little deeper than previous units as well.Overall though, I'm impressed. It was also nice that there were several hues to choose from. also made it less boring. It remains to be seen if the batteries will outlast my last unit, which lasted approximately two years.
