Holosun HS507C Reflex Sight 1x Selectable Reticle Weaver-Style Mount Solar/Battery Powered Black Review:

I have to say that on every count, this triumphs over the RMR. I tried the RMR, but at over $600 it failed terribly to impress me.The HS507C is tough and survived my test with 1,000 rounds on my 226 Legion. With the 2MOA dot and CQB Circle, it is incredibly accurate and perfect for quick target acquisition. Since I sighted it in with the first mag, I didn't need to make any adjustments, so it maintains zero nicely. In such a tough micro red dot, the clarity of the glass and lack of extreme parallax (unlike the RMR) are unmatched. It stands out from the competition thanks to its switchable reticles and unmatched battery life! 10 PLUS YEARS! They've all been put to use, including The Delta Point, Burris FastFire, Doctor, RMR, and Vortex Venom. On a sunny Texas day, the auto brightness adjustment is effective and makes the screen bright and sharp. The RMR is oblong and patchy.A very feature-rich gadget with a lifetime warranty is available for only $300, and because it performed so well, I ordered a second one.It was agonizing to wait 3 months for the first one, and I wasn't anticipating to wait more than 2 weeks for the backorder, but it was well worth the money. But in all honesty, the wait was DEFINITELY worthwhile. All day long, five stars. And based on my previous experience working with Holosun, if you have a problem, they will solve it and get your system back up and running in a week.Let's face it, occasionally even Leupold and Trijicon produce a subpar product. In the case of mass-produced goods, it's just luck of the draw.

Pinty Red Green Reflex Holographic Rifle Scope Dot Sight 4 Different Reticles Review:

I was aware that the locking screw needed to be loose before attempting to zero in the wind-age and elevation before buying this holographic sight. This was not stated in the instructions that accompanied this website. Adjustments made when the locking screw is tightened down run the risk of damaging the locking screw. When I first got the sight, the locking screw was stripped. Before placing the locking screw on a pistol and making sure it isn't tightened down while changing the windage and elevation, I would advise anyone purchasing this sight to test it out. This final detail ought to be mentioned in the DIRECTIONS, but it isn't! I was grateful that Amazon reimbursed me in full, including shipping costs.Update: Banyan Imports provided a second of these sights free of charge. They requested that I check out the website and update my prior review. Everything on the sight, even the locking screw, works once I received it. I've used the sight twice at the range. I focused on the sight that has so far held. The sight is well crafted, and I don't believe one could get a finer sight for the price. Although it isn't a top-of-line sight, it is accurate and performs admirably, and again, you can't beat it for the price. I almost gave the site five stars, but I decided against it for two reasons. First of all, the instructions still don't specify that the locking screw needs to be unlocked before adjusting the windage and height. Second, I've only used the sight at close range, so I can't say for sure if it's durable or if it will always maintain zero (which I believe it will). I appreciate the seller Banyan Imports fully refunding the first sight they supplied me and giving me the replacement sight at no additional cost. They run a trustworthy business.

Ade Advanced Optics glock Tactical Mini Dotx Sight Pistol Mount Base Review:

Although the sight will sit substantially higher without slide milling, this mount can be useful for individuals who wish to test out low-cost red dots before investing in more costly sights and milled slides. It replaces the pistol's rear sight. The mount doesn't come with built-in rear sights, so there isn't a quick fallback in case the optic fails or a way to co-witness, but the Dueck Defense variant that does costs over ten times as much! Additionally, the casings of some more expensive optics, like the Sig Romeo, may have slots for rear sights. This mount feels sturdy and appears to be well-made. My dovetail insert piece fit loosely enough into a Gen 4 Glock 19 to be easily inserted by hand, making it particularly appealing for people without sight pushers. In order to capture the insert and be self-centering, the mounting base is gently bent on the sides to fit a standard Glock slide. The assembly is made more secure by the base mounting screws. On a custom or aftermarket slide, however, that has a different cross-section profile from a stock slide, it might not function.A trip to the range revealed two potential problems. One is that there is no thread locker provided for or on the screws. If this isn't done during installation, the mount will probably fall off before the first magazine is empty. Also, Phillips-head screws are used for mounting. Unless the slide is heated, it's difficult to picture removing them without entirely stripping off the heads once thread locker is applied. Hex or Torx head screws would be nice to have here. The pattern of the mount seems to be rather "standard," shared by sights from Burris, Docter, Vortex, and other manufacturers. In conclusion, a good mount that is incredibly simple to install without the use of specific tools. Simply keep in mind the blue thread locker.

EZshoot Green Laser Sight Green Dot 532nm Rifle Scope with 20mm Picatinny Mount - Include Barrel Mount Cable Switch Review:

It appears to be well-made and of high quality, however the laser was difficult to adjust because it frequently drifts. Another thing is that it arrives in a cute small box with foam that is neatly packaged, or it should have! It was tossed into a big box, and by the time I retrieved it, it was all over the place in a mound. If nothing else, they should have taped the tiny box to prevent the contents from flying around during shipping. Could it be that the laser is drifting and I'm having trouble setting it properly? It fits perfectly on my nitro pellet rifle, but it seems to drift and needs to be calibrated every time I take it up.

EZshoot BoreSighter Bore Sight kit with Button Switch for 0.22 to 0.50 Caliber Rifles Handgun Red Laser Sight Review:

The laser itself appears to be well-centered within the mandrel, and the quality is good. The only problem, which I've had with other manufacturers as well, is that the 30 caliber tip, even when it's uncompressed on the tool, is too big to fit into a 7.62 barrel. I next insert the polymer tip with bolt into my hand drill and use a file or sanding block to reduce the diameter of the solid end to just about 7.62 mm. I was unable to tighten the screw to extend the tip once it had slid into the bore, though. Before I could widen the tip, I had to nut the bolt all the way up ( alternatively, one could cut the bolt length ). These are standard changes for me. Given that it also comes with tools, batteries, and extra bolts, the value at this price is unbeatable. SCOPE ALIGNMENT CAN ONLY BE REFINED AT THE RANGE FOR BEST RESULTS, BUT ANY BORE SIGHTER WILL ONLY GET YOU ON PAPER.

TuFok Glock Sight Mount Plate - Glock 17 19 22 23 26 27 34 Rail for Install Pistol Red Dot Sight Review:

It stood up even after a Glock Model 41 in 45ACP had a reflex sight put on it. A TruGlo sight was mounted, which is significantly bigger and bulkier than most reflex sights, but it is keeping steady thus far. You might want to place a thin plastic tape strip under the mount to protect the slide surface and use red thread locks to secure screws. Nothing wrong at this time.

Shockproof 532nm Tactical Green Dot Laser Sight Rifle Scope with Rail and Barrel Mounts Cap Pressure Switch with Battery Charger Review:

Amazing value for the money. At 100 yards, the dot may be as large as 1/8 inch, yet it is still quite simple to detect, even in broad daylight. Although I am unsure of the actual range at night, I can see it clearly from at least 400 yards away. I used my 4-12 scope, and I can confirm that it still has the same big dot far away. With fresh batteries, I'd wager that you could strike a target far farther away than the gun's effective range. Because of ONE WEAKNESS, I awarded it a 4. I have four of these ink pen springs, and they are not any stronger than the spring that keeps strain on the battery. After fewer than 50 shots, the four lost contact as the spring was crushed by recoil. I have a patch for them that works forever. The problem is resolved by locating some stronger coil springs, cutting them in half, and spiral-screwing them into the inexpensive spring.

LONJN Glock 17 19 22 23 26 27 34 Mount - Vortex Venom Mount Glock Mounting Plate, Vortex Viper Mount for Glock, Glock Mount Plate for Red Dot Burris Sightmark Vortex Mini Sight Review:

Hello, Glock fans! Why did I buy that?To avoid shaving down the slide in case I didn't like the red dot optics, I bought this mount for my Glock 19. Additionally, I didn't want to spend more than $300 on a red dot.Outcome,My NcStar - FlipDot Red Dot Reflex Optic didn't install properly, primarily because the top of the mount's frame didn't match up with the holes where the red dot mounts. The red dot NcStar - FlipDot Red Dot Reflex Optic is too broad to fit the holes when you try to tighten it. I eventually succeeded in mounting it after drilling a few extra holes in the mount. The universal mount is only temporary until I receive one from Strike Industries.Recommend:::::It's likely to work with all other red dots; this NcStar - FlipDot Red Dot Reflex Optic is simply too big. When you go cheap, you return home empty-handed, so what do you expect for $98.00?It's a fine mount, but make sure it works with your red-dot sights before giving it a five.

Does vortex make handgun scopes?

I don't believe Vortex makes handgun scopes specifically. They do, however, make a number of great scopes that would be well-suited for mounting on a handgun. The Crossfire II line, in particular, offers a number of models with compact footprints and low-power options that would be great for a handgun. So, while Vortex doesn't make scopes designed specifically for handguns, they do make a number of great options that would work well.

How far back should a scope be mounted?

When mounting a scope, it is important to consider how far back it should be placed. There are a few things to keep in mind when making this decision. First, the scope should be placed as far back as possible while still allowing the shooter to see through it comfortably. Second, the scope should be mounted so that the eyepiece is in line with the shooter's dominant eye. This will ensure the best possible sight picture. Finally, the scope should be mounted so that it is at a comfortable height for the shooter. With these things in mind, it is typically best to mount

How much eye relief do I need for a pistol scope?

While the amount of eye relief you need for a pistol scope may vary depending on the size and weight of the gun, as well as your personal preferences, a good rule of thumb is to choose a scope with at least 3 inches of eye relief. This will ensure that you have enough space between your eye and the eyepiece of the scope, so that you can comfortably acquire your target.

Is Long eye relief better?

Long eye relief is often seen as a desirable trait in binoculars and spotting scopes. It allows the user to keep their eyes a safe distance from the eyepieces, which can be important in avoiding eye fatigue. It can also be helpful for those who wear glasses, as they can still see the full field of view without having to remove their glasses.

Is vortex scopes any good?
