These straps were purchased to match my Bear Butt Hammock. They arrived on schedule and in excellent shape. The straps fit back into the carrying bag flawlessly, and it is really well made. I frequently discover that something won't fit or is too tight in its original carrying bag when I try to put it back. Even if these straps weren't as tight when I curled them up as they were at first, that is not the case with them. The straps are really well made and very simple to use. The strap is cinched around the tree, then fed through the top loop. After there, you may choose from a variety of loops to change the height of your hammock, and then you're all set to unwind. Since I don't have any trees close enough together to hang a hammock from, I used our swingset and a tree instead. This was merely an evaluation of the product. Next month, when we go camping for a week in Utah and Colorado, will be the real test, and I'll update this review after actually using the product. I worry because I'm a big girl about if things will actually hold me, but I had no worries about these straps. The straps didn't even seem to be straining while supporting me, and given their superior construction, I doubt they even knew I was there. The accompanying carabiner clips are no different. They're excellent! They are less expensive and have more value than the Eno brand. My daughter was given an Eno hammock and Eno straps for her birthday, but I had to order my daughter a longer set of straps because the first set wouldn't fit between the trees in our yard. I wasn't looking forward to shelling out a lot of money for straps. The Eno set my son has, which is roughly the same length, and the set I purchased in blue truly look the same to me. However, this set is considerably less expensive and is rated at 2,000 pounds rather than 200 pounds like his. My daughter does not weigh 2,000 pounds, thus it doesn't really matter why these straps are rated so much higher; still, I find it intriguing. I purchased a Forbidden Road Hammock with ropes included. only to discover that the supposed ropes were actually a pair of straps. Simple flat straps with no attachments of any kind, including rings, loops, hooks, or directions. But hey, a hammock that fit in a backpack only cost $14.Even though I'm not a boy scout, I do consider myself to be a computer nerd who is intellectual, adventurous, well-educated, and willing to learn new things. So I turned to Google to learn how to fasten hammock straps to a tree! After spending about 30 minutes tying knots that I wouldn't trust to hold a squirrel, I thought to myself, "How about I buy something instead?!" I had learnt about the backpacker hitch, bowlines, and taut line hitches.The straps are excellent. The availability of lengthy lengths gave me a lot more alternatives for trees that are really far apart or, in the case of my first trip with them, really WIDE trees, in addition to making it quite simple to attach to trees. I couldn't have set up the hammock where I did if the short "rope" (really useless black straps) that came with the hammock hadn't been included. Even if I had grown up in the Boy Scouts and learned how to tie a decent knot, they would have been too small.At our campsite, I set up my hammock in only two minutes, and it supported more weight than it probably should have. Throw both ends around the tree, feed through the first loop to fasten it to the tree, then choose the suitable second loop for your hammock's height and clip it on. Done.It is almost as expensive as my parachute hammock, but it is completely worth it. Since my hammock already had carabiners built in, I purchased the 20 1 without them. Although the 16 1 would have been adequate, I appreciate having the additional 200lb and 4 loops in case a bear decided to use it when we were away from the campsite.

I really purchased these since I'm a worry wart in case the bolts that are screwed into my deck come loose (I didn't use I bolts). We installed a 550-pound capacity twin wicker swing under the deck (which is second floor in the back). The hanging mechanisms are incredibly robust on their own, but I begin to consider what might happen if the bolts lose their hold or the board cracks under the strain. So I came across these straps. Because they cover both the board we are accustomed to and another board, they are excellent. I'm securing the swing with both of them. These are both robust and flexible enough to move with the swing, allowing me to swing comfortably. I'm certain that if I had purchased these items first, I could have survived on just these, but that's not how things turned out. Although I'm sure that as a child I would have happily flung myself off of this swing, I'm not at the age where it's fun enough for me to merely swing and I'm not in the mood to be launched anyplace. The back is quite wooded and slopes off the deck. It has a fantastic view. Additionally, the carabeaners that were assembled with screws provide additional security for this worry. Although the length cannot be adjusted, I didn't find it to be an issue. You should prepare to modify with your chains.

We were thrilled when the swing showed there sooner than expected. It was pretty simple to put together. The instructions are simple to understand, feature pictures, and are clear. It includes a wrench for tightening the lugs. Other tools are not required. The swing fabric's outside edge is threaded with steel rods, and one end of each rod slips into the end of the other rod. Check to make sure the rods are aligned so that the end of the first rod, which has a smaller diameter, goes into the end of the second rod, which has a slightly bigger diameter, before you begin threading them. Because of the fabric's strength and porosity, water may drain. The photographs show that all of the materials are of high quality and durability.
