It's the ideal size for my teenage daughter, so I bought it for her room. Even for an adult, it functions nicely. This chair is the second one we've bought; the first one is from a year ago and has held up fantastically. I will occasionally sit in it when I'm hanging out in her room having a chat, if she lets me in.The dangling part could be made longer, if there is anything I would suggest for improvement. I believe the chain you must buy is very long. The fabric would look nicer if it reached most of the way to the ceiling. Everyone has so far praised it. I would hardly ever get to sit in it myself, even if we were able to rearrange the furniture so the TV or window were closer. When combined with our hammock chair stand, my husband, who is about 6 feet tall, feels it's a fantastic height for him from the ground. The seat is excellent.The rope is quite robust, and the cloth feels natural. My beams aren't properly spaced for that, thus I don't like hanging from a single hoop. It's true that on the day it arrived, we had to hold it in the air for the grandchildren to use, and my husband's arm was certainly drained by the end of it. I adore it, and we hung it on the arbor with a strong spring. I can sit in it comfortably, knees raised, and feet within at 5'7". When I purchased it, this was a worry, but I couldn't locate any reviews that addressed it. As a result, if you're 5'7" or shorter, you should be able to read in it. It is really durable and incredibly comfortable to just swing away the day. I can only use it when my grandkids aren't there because they can't get into it quickly enough for me. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and the color is accurate to the photo. Also, the pillows are a fair size. I would repurchase this. My children and grandchildren absolutely like this swing! It was also simple to install. However, my daughter and I made the error of trying to stuff the seat cushion inside the zippered pocket after fully inflating it. You cannot do that because of the cushion opening. Before you put it in the bag, it needs to be either completely deflated or only slightly inflated; after that, blow it up; and then, zip it up. Everything was OK, though. It looks fantastic outside where I used it on our outdoor play structure. The vivid hues are gorgeous! They go perfectly with the other swings and attachments' vibrant colors. Our lovely new pod swing got soaked in an unexpected downpour, and the blue color spilled all over the green seat...as well as my hands...and my jeans when I was taking it in to the washing machine. This is the only reason I didn't give it all five stars. I tried to revive it and stop the color flowing by washing it, but I wasn't quite successful. Since children are unpredictable and this product is intended for them, I advise washing it before using it for the first time to prevent color bleed in the event that it gets wet by accident. (Yes, whether you use it inside or outside with kids, it might happen!) I bought this after reading all the reviews. wonderful product Reviews said that there would be puddles at the "butt" portion, and there are, but the problem can be solved by removing the cushion when it starts to rain. NOTE: Although the cushion appears to be water resistant in some way, if you leave it out in the rain for too long, the function is defeated.
