I can't believe I've put off using this brush for so long. I've always believed that nothing else could get through my hair, therefore I only use really strong nylon or plastic pin brushes ( which is very thick and down to my buttock). But those brushes did nothing but tear off more hair, breaking most of the ends. I tried it after reading reviews, though. The pins on this brush are flexible, and it separates knots as opposed to pulling them out. With this brush, I'm quite happy. It does assist in drying as well.

This kind of hairbrush has been on my search list for 20 years! When I was in college, someone stole an identical one that my mother had given me when I was a child. And I searched far and wide but in vain for the identical brush. But now that I've discovered it, I'm overjoyed.Generally speaking, the brush is really soft on my extremely curly hair. Before I can fully penetrate it with the brush, I must first comb through it with a large toothed instrument. However, it makes my hair very silky and lustrous and feels wonderful on my scalp. I still have this bottle to complete. I bought it for myself; I'm 26 years old with long, wavy hair that dries semi-frizzy. When I put it in at night, I seem to wake up with soft hair, and even if it will be my third or fourth day without a wash, my hair doesn't feel like it has an excessive amount of product in it. Although it doesn't completely keep my hair detangled, it definitely helps. For the price, I would definitely recommend it, and it also has a wonderful scent.

My hair is quite thick, coarse, and bleached. It takes FOREVER for my hair to dry. Before even beginning to blow dry my hair, my hairdresser had to place me under the dome dryer! This practically eliminates the time I spend drying! I'm not particularly interested in knowing how they do it or what is in this material. As a side note, since my hair is only chin length, this may not work the same way for you if you have a lot of hair. However, since my hair is porous from repeated bleaching, it stores more water weight than regular hair, so the investment has been well worth it. It takes a very long time to finish one bottle. I no longer need to spend an hour after towel drying to try to heat style at home; instead, I simply towel dry, spray this on, and then in 15 minutes I'm ready to dry and straighten. Now it takes less than 10 minutes to dry and straighten. It's simply amazing.

AWESOME BRUSH!When I brush our daughter's hair, she is EXTREMELY sensitive because she has Aspergers. She is out of there with the tiniest "tug"! I needed to take action to help myself, so I looked for this brush, loved the reviews, and got it. In two days, it arrived!The brush is first and foremost incredibly ergonomic for the user. Neither did it slip nor did I drop the brush.Second, after the morning in the water, there were only a few "tugs" as I brushed her out.Third, with just this brush, it took a TOTAL of 10 minutes to comb or brush her out. Incredible. In order for people to see the before and after, I attached images. No tactics were used; in just 10 minutes, the knotted mass of hair transformed into a smooth head of hair with no pulls or tugs. As I was brushing, our daughter said, "This feels fantastic!" Wow. WOW!
