This is effective for our needs, but it feels flimsy, and I'm not sure how long it will hold up. You get what you pay for, and the cost was absolutely justified. Unless you need something that you want to last for a very long time, I would suggest it. So I trim my husband's hair for him, and before I knew it, he was covered with hair even after taking a shower while he sat in the bathroom. The snaps around the neck are a really excellent thing since it fits for both my thin neck and my husband's larger neck. The cape is considerably longer in front than the previous plastic one I had from a beauty supply store. Since they don't automatically click together when you press them flat against each other, it can be challenging to figure out how to use the snaps at first. For me, at least, they didn't.The velcro on the old cape developed a complete gunk-up solidification over time from hair clippings. This is marginally nicer, and I appreciate that it can be machine washed as well, if necessary.Only four stars because, as other reviewers have pointed out, the cape's rear portion ought to be longer.

To prevent kinked ends when foam curling my hair, I use them. Additionally, they appear to make rolling layered strands much nicer. Yes, after a 12-hour set, my hair needs some more time to dry. I simply remove the rollers and papers with care and then let the hair air dry naturally before style. I've had to wait a little longer, but it's worth it to get rid of escapies or tangled ends that are direct eye sores since they didn't remain in the roller.

Even though I am a complete novice to caps, they function for me more easily than the magic cap. I DIDN'T THINK THIS WOULD BE MY OPINION. My hair began to easily knot under the miracle hat, and I began to perspire. It was occasionally quite difficult to determine exactly where I was drawing from. These bonnet caps looked nice and didn't require precision to operate well. I was able to cover my oleplex with one that was still unopened, and it was still functional for the subsequent highlighting session. I also wash the ones I highlight last and use that one the next time to hide my bleach. They neatly fit on top of one another and keep the heat and moisture within. This method is cozy, doesn't convey a message, and enables me to use them a little bit more frequently.
