Very classy and lovely... great range of colors to go with a lot of various clothes... looks to be of good quality. My daughter doesn't like the headbands, therefore that is mostly why I purchased them. And I reasoned that she might respond better to this. She has a lot of hair and is 4.5 months old. She may not have even been aware that I had given her one. Therefore, it doesn't appear to tug her hair or do anything similar, in my opinion. And I was relieved that it was big enough and wouldn't choke someone. Given that she currently puts everything in her mouth, I had a lot of concerns about that. I'd heartily endorse it to others!

They are the traditional clippy clips that you wore when you were younger.I took the more mature, dull colored ones and handed my 4-year-old niece all the fun ones. In my fine-medium curls, these barely move. Adorable in every way. My daughters adore them. I deducted one rating since the edges of a few ears clearly had glue on them.They don't move! The ridged edges of the alligator clips are not hidden by the ribbon that surrounds them, which allows them to maintain their firm grasp. I was so concerned that these might come off when my daughters went around our neighbourhood indoor play area's foam pit or something, but they never did. I'd definitely place another purchase.

These same barrettes were what I wore as a youngster, and I've looked in stores in vain for ones like them for my tiny girls. I've bought a number of the ones that are now on the market from places like Claire's, but none of them perform as well as these. They have a nice appearance, however after a few months of use, they always break. I'm hoping this will be the case with these because we never had to replace them when we were kids because they were so durable. Because they utilize metal alligator type clips for them, which have a tendency to trap individual hairs in them, the ones from Claire's also have a tendency to rip my children' hair out when we have to take them out. These don't do that since they are made of flat plastic with tiny teeth that are similar to those on a headband but smaller. As a result, there is no metal hinge to contend with while removing the clip. These are preferred by both of my girls over any of the gorgeous, sparkling ones from Claire's and similar shops. Another advantage of these is that they may be installed by themselves; often, the other ones require assistance.
