If any of your unwanted material becomes congealed or otherwise caught in there, cleanup will be a complete hassle because you'll need to find a method to cram a brush or some paper towels into all of the nooks and crannies, which is not enjoyable. In general, I would suggest the product. My Samsung range came with an aluminum griddle. I liked it, but I had to get a replacement after the first year since the Non-Stick coating started peeling from that much use. (I do utilize mine practically daily)Due to its durability and the additional adaptability of the grill side, I chose the cast iron version. Additionally, the cost was lower, and the item's dimensions were practically equal to my old one.But there are drawbacks to anything positive. There are two glaring flaws that appear to have developed during the finishing step of the production process, when attempts to grind part of the material in order to purge larger flaws appeared to have affected the consistency of the finish. To let folks know that the ceramic grill plates DO fit the GRP90WGR grill, I only wanted to write a brief review. The nonstick coating on the two plates I use the most have started to come off since I purchased the grill in 2010. So, despite claims to the contrary from several others, I ordered these ceramic ones. I made the decision to gamble. I'm happy to report that the lid does indeed close properly and that the items do fit. If I remember, I'll provide an update on how simple it is to clean them. I noticed a lot of critical remarks about it, but once more, I chose to take a chance. If you don't clean the original plates right away, they'll be difficult to clean as well. I believe that I will clean these right away, exactly as I usually did with the other grill plates, to prevent any parts from cooling and being trapped. Avoiding leaving food to stick makes cleaning easier. Edit: After using the grill plates, I can honestly tell that they are even simpler to clean than the nonstick plates that came with the grill. They cleaned up really well with only a simple paper towel wipe-down. Nothing burned or stuck on, no need to scrub. I cleaned the grill plates after removing my hamburgers from the grill and got them ready to eat. The only explanation I can think of is that those who complained that they were difficult to clean just let them cool and let the food particles adhere. There won't be any issues if you simply wipe them off after removing the food.June 23, 2019—To prepare lamb chops this evening, I used it once more. These barbecue plates are still my favorite. I haven't had any issues with these, and they still look and function fantastically.

This griddle is very affordable when compared to the majority of other models of a similar size (like Coleman). Although it cannot be stored inside the Coleman Triton 2-Burner stove (either with or without an igniter), it fits very well in the midsize stove carrying case that comes with the stove.As long as you are aware that it is not cast iron, it actually works fine for cooking. This is cast metal, which heats up quickly and doesn't hold heat effectively. Because of this, I can't think of any reason why I would ever advise using it while your grill or stove (if you're camping) is at its greatest heat. The only situation in which this rule might not apply is if you are preparing a steak and prefer yours rare to medium-rare and only wanted to sear them for a few seconds on each side. The moment you put bacon or eggs on the same heat, they will be completely destroyed.I've had great success with the non-stick surface, and I can usually clean this up with a paper towel, which is incredibly convenient when you're camping. Just be aware that non-stick cookware is recommended to avoid scratching the surface. My phone has a few scratches, but nothing major, and it still functions well. There hasn't been any flakes or peeling of the coating at all.

I purchased this pan after studying numerous reviews. I especially read a lot of reviews with 1, 2, and 3 stars. I thought that the majority of these unfavorable reviews were the result of improper use or impatience. Keep in mind that cast iron skillets can be tricky, but with proper care and use, they perform better than most nonstick cookware.
