It was the ideal finishing touch for my infamous RBG Halloween costume. Several friends used it all night as a judges' mallet, a karaoke microphone, and a hammer, among other things. It is definitely smaller than what you see on television and isn't a very large gavel. However, it was excellent for my needs!

The tiny gold band is not a genuine piece of wood. It's just a tiny plastic strip, and it's already starting to deteriorate where the handle meets the head. From a distance, nobody will see that I would have paid a little more to have one that is more robust and smooth. Otherwise, it sounds and feels alright.

When my brother was appointed post commander, we bought him this gavel to use to open American Legion meetings. He adored the plaque that my parents had etched to go on it! Given that it was a last-minute purchase and my mother was unsure of where to even get one, I was thrilled that Amazon Prime offered next day shipping. The gavel itself seems to be really good. My dad explained that walnut isn't as hefty as oak and that they really liked walnut when I thought it was a touch light. Anyhow, the next day after I ordered it, my parents were able to give it to him on time at the start of the conference thanks to the quick shipment.

This was a very lovely gavel with a traditional design and strong, sturdy construction. I would advise anyone who is searching to get it. But before you click "purchase," I want you to be aware of two things:If you're searching for a high-polish gavel, this is not it. It has a more satin-like sheen.2. Pay close attention to the description and the etching in the image. The engraving is laser etched onto the brass's surface rather than being etched or carved into the metal. This produces strong, legible black text that hasn't rubbed off at all.I mention these in case you desired the carving or the high polish. Get this one if that's not a huge problem.

The etching and style are both excellent. Additionally, the wood is quite lovely. It's a pretty lovely present. The issue I have with it is that it didn't arrive in any kind of packaging, making it challenging to give as a gift. Apart from that, I endorse it. Not sure what it will be used for, but it was bought as a souvenir.

No other gavels have been tried by me, therefore there can be no comparison. However, I did take my time looking over all of the options on Amazon, and this is the one I ultimately decided upon because it appeared to be the highest quality within the /- $20 price range.The item arrived quickly and in excellent shape. It is an exact replica of the image. Despite some of my first concerns regarding its weight in comparison to other items, the build is strong and the size is ideal. The wood base does not bounce, and the knock has an excellent sound. My primary concern was that it wouldn't actually operate as a gavel, more like a decoration or shoddy goods. There are no concerns to be had because this item serves its purpose well. Even though I won't be using it every day, I believe it would function just fine.I advise anyone searching for a useful gavel to buy this one.

I got my Daughters of Union Soldiers Civil War club this gavel to use at their regular meetings. It's a skillfully crafted gavel. manufactured in the USA Has a pleasant vibe... It will require a base, but one may probably find a piece of wood with a stain that matches the color of the gavel at a craft store. I retained it until my next meeting and discovered the group's leader had already obtained a gavel. Since I didn't open it, I asked the vendor VF, and he agreed to take it back. What an adorable soul! The friendliest retailer I've ever encountered on Amazon.com, in my opinion, is VF. VF, THANKS! for your honesty and genuine goods!

The set appears to be lovely. I placed a couple cushions under the block, which improved the sound when I slammed the gavel against it. Sounds excellent for a compact system.I probably read fifty reviews for the majority of the gavels that Amazon sells. Regarding breakage, damage, or aesthetics, all received positive and negative feedback. This model also has several drawbacks.However, I gambled because of the Amazon photo and the cost. I'm so happy I did. Excellent value and appearance.Although I don't want to let my kids play with it, if it breaks while I'm using it, I might go back and edit this review.
