Yard Butler Deluxe Heavy Duty Wall Mount Hose Hanger Holds 125’ Of 5/8’ Hose Solid Steel Extra Bracing And Patented Design In NEW COLORS and DECORATIVE DESIGNS IHCWM-1BLU BLUE Review:

First of all, you really can't complain with this for $14 and free shipping, and I would buy it again. In spite of this, I would have preferred to see slightly wider weld sites where the curved piece attaches to the wall bracket below. To give it a bit more lateral support from flexing and stressing the welds, consider using two supports rather of just one, or something triangular or boxed out. Reviews that overuse the terms "thick steel" and "heavy duty bracket" are exaggerating. Just enough steel and bracket are used to make it decent rather than absolute junk. The terms "thick" or "heavy duty" never once crossed my mind while thinking about this item. "Decent," "adequate," or "good enough" come to mind (I mean good enough seriously and not sarcastically). The wall bracket does, at least, have some sort of support welded in beneath the curved section, and those welds are good-looking. There are no cheesy spot welds or insufficient welding circumstances. The small railing in the front, however, is only fully beaded at the base of each end and is only welded from the bottom up. But I suppose that would increase the cost of production, and thus wouldn't be available for $14. Do I believe this will be around forever? No way. Do I anticipate it lasting 10–15 years? Probably. After carefully examining the image, I can honestly say that it isn't rubbish and was precisely what I was anticipating. Just because some reviews used phrases like "thick," "heavy duty," and "last forever," my expectations were a little higher than they need to have been. It's acceptable. And I am more than satisfied with the price. I will bend a nice thick piece of aluminum bar stock into a L and bolt it down to it with some 1/4 20 stainless bolts in 15 years when the curved piece falls off the wall bracket. Then it will continue indefinitely:)

GORILLA EASY CONNECT Garden Hose Quick Connect Fittings. ¾ Inch GHT Solid Brass (1 Spray Nozzle & 1 Male Connector) Review:

I've included a photo of two various quick disconnects. The hose bibb and hose would be on the left and right, respectively, in both scenarios. As you can see in the second image, when the Harbor Freight coupling is linked, the male section really reaches into the female part's threaded area. For the purpose of illustrating this dimension issue, the rubber gasket has been taken off. In order to connect the hose bibb and coupling, the male piece would need to compress the gasket between them. It is not possible to compress a gasket by a force equal to its thickness. Watch the size of cheap couplings, is the story's lesson. This issue is prevented by the size of the New Garden connection. One hand operation is possible with the New Garden design. One hand must pull the disconnect ring toward the hose bibb on Harbor Freight-style designs, and a second hand must draw the hose out of the coupling. Because the disconnect ring and hose travel in the same direction and the ring is attached to the part fastened onto the hose, the New Garden design allows the hose to be detached with just one hand. Instead of the male part and associated o-ring, the sturdy female segment travels with the hose when it is decoupled. You will notice the New Garden coupling's sturdy design and superior manufacturing as soon as you pick it up. Five stars are deserved because this is an excellent product with a well-considered design.Note: I paid full price for this product, and neither I nor anyone I know is employed by or otherwise connected to New Garden.

Gilmour 100049168 Metal Heavy Duty Zinc and Brass Male Clamp Coupling, 5/8" x 3/4" Review:

I have one of those 3/4" red "Contractor's Grade" 100-foot Home Depot hoses (Made in the USA with components from abroad!). It turns out that this hose, like many others in today's market, has an aluminum male hose end that has been anodized with a bright copper/brass hue. It was fitted with a cheap brass nozzle from Home Depot (the Gilmour model, made in China, with black plastic rubber on the nozzle and hose connector), and it worked for about three to four years until snapping in half. Even with pliers, I was unable to remove it when I attempted. The aluminum hose end, hard water, and brass nozzle had essentially chemically welded together! So, I cut off the male hose end fused to the damaged nozzle after obtaining this Gilmour male hose repair kit (made in China). According to some reviews, this Gilmour hose repair does not fit onto larger 3/4 "hoses, the screws are too short, etc., but everything functioned. Perhaps Gilmour took note of the criticisms and changed the design such that the longer screws were included. Regardless, the male nozzle fit into the 3/4" pipe with ease (other reviewers claimed it did not fit as readily into the 5/8" hose). The clamshell's two parts were a little difficult to clasp together, but I managed to do it by placing all of my weight on them by stepping on them with my heel. That moved them near enough for the somewhat larger than 1/2 inch screws "each, making it simple to screw into position and tighten the coupling.I purchased a high-quality Dramm brass nozzle (Made in USA) as a hose nozzle replacement. I'm hoping it won't crack.

AR North America PW909103K Quick Connect Hose Adapter Review:

There are no issues with the replaced parts. They carry out their specified functions. The power washer is also nice, but I discovered that the hose connector—the point where the majority of water from the hose passes through to the unit—was like a weak link. This is a heavily stressed area between the unit and the hose attachment, and plastic simply won't do. It fragmented into several pieces with just one incorrect tug. It must be pulled and tugged upon during use, so why is it made of plastic? Therefore, I already had to replace it. In preparation for this part's anticipated next "crack-up," I purchased a spare. Instead of the instant stoppage of my not-yet-completed project and the subsequent three-day wait time, I would have preferred to spend a few dollars extra and acquire a better quality connector.

Flex-Drain ADP53202 Downspout Adaptor, Landscaping Drain Pipe Adapter 2 by 3 by 4-Inch (2 by 3 by 4-Inch, 2 Pack) Review:

My grass slopes noticeably away from the home, and I got tired of patching the erosion that my downspouts were causing. I wanted a means to connect some 4" PVC that I was intending to bury in the ground to my standard-size downspout. These were flawless. You can stretch them to the required length and bend them to accommodate the bend from the almost vertical PVC to the vertical downspout. They installed in about a minute and function flawlessly. If only PVC trench digging could be as painless!

Twinkle Star 3/4 Inch Garden Hose Fitting Quick Connector Male and Female Set, 2 Set Review:

had a cutoff valve for Twinkles. These fast connectors were ordered. They interact amicably. I don't have to walk back to the faucet coming through the house wall after I walk around my garden. I used one male connector in a wand to water my new fruit trees slowly at the root level without bending, another in a hose nozzle to spray a wider area, and still another in a bubbler. can transfer between devices. Simply turn off the water using the cutoff valve and replace the component at the hose's end. No leaking! Highly suggested.

Melnor 15408 Brass, Product Adapter Review:

Since I have hoses in various locations across my yard, I have a lot of these. Typically, I'm switching hoses at the bib or switching between a wand and a sprinkler.Pretty robust, although I have pulled the hose a few times and, entirely on my own volition, snapped one or two off at the bib.Despite being plastic, they are strong. They do drip a little while using the wand, however this stops once the wand is switched off, which is the only true problem I have (pressure on seal). It only leaks when the water flows freely from the end (such as a sprinkler or wand), which allows me to leave the spigot on continuously without wasting water. Naturally, there is no issue with the sprinkler, but occasionally I want to use the wand and remain dry:)

DANCO Dishwasher Snap Coupling Adapter, 15/16 in.-27M or 55/64 in.-27F x 3/4 in. GHTM, Brass (10521), Brass/Antique Brass Review:

This sturdy two-piece product may be attached to a garden hose or washing machine hose on one end and both internal and exterior aerator threads on the other. Three spring ball bearings are released when the plastic collar is pushed down, making it possible to swiftly connect and disengage the hose and faucet. Perfect for portable washing machines and dishwashers. If your faucet is sturdy, you may be able to complete this task with only one hand, but it's recommended that you hold the faucet firmly in place with one hand while coupling or uncoupling with the other, and then release the collar after pressing the connection strongly. Although the adapter has a very powerful water flow when decoupled, it is not meant to take the place of an aerator. To reduce splashing, use less water or switch to your aerator in between applications. I would only add a snap-on aerator to this product, but for its intended usage, I heartily recommend this Danco adaptor.

PLG Solid Brass Water Hose Shut-Off Valve Review:

Excellent, rapid connection. The connection initially leaked. Then I came to the answer, just in case someone else had a leaking problem. Installing the male piece first onto its connection point, such as a sprinkler, is the secret. Then, and ONLY THEN, screw the female onto its connection point, such as the hose, by taking the washer piece that was included with the female and inserting it into the female connection neck. Additionally, check that the washer is facing the proper way so that its ridges may fit around a man's protruding neck.

Gilmour Brass x NH 807734-1001 Heavy Duty Hose Connector Double Female Swivel 3/4 inch, 3/4-Inch by 3/4-Inch Review:

Great results. Due to numerous complaints that "It leaks like crazy," I was initially concerned. I connected a leader hose from my house to my hose reel the same day I got it, turned on the water (50 psi where I am), and there were no leaks. Having said that, this connector does not swivel while the ends are tightly connected; rather, it only does so when the connections are loose. However, I don't mind because the hose won't swivel if you simply connect it to anything. To simply share my experience. Perhaps those who had leaks received a bad batch from an unfavorable run. With goods that are mass produced, everything is conceivable. Finally, if you need to connect two male hose ends for any reason, I advise purchasing this item.
