Since receiving these bed wheel cups, it has been roughly a month. When I first saw them, I was skeptical. We just moved into a brand-new house with gorgeous Pergo floors. We discovered that our bed moved a lot. Our fresh floors may easily be destroyed by the wheels. Our bed wouldn't remain in place, even with the wheels locked, after we had laid laminate flooring in our room. Our two twinXL adjustable bed platforms, each with a 14-inch foam mattress, may be connected to form a Cali King bed. I weigh 290 lbs. and am taller than 6 feet, which adds weight to this situation's already enormous burden. Every time I climbed into bed, the bed would roll around the room as if we were embarking on a vacation! We have a headboard, baseboard, and sideboards that sit a little higher and are not on wheels because finding a frame that fits our unusually sized bed completely snugly is challenging. Our furniture also included the tiny sticky felt pads that were mentioned by other reviewers; these pads always slipped off and gathered dust and dirt. We had to keep replacing the pads because the chairs' small, light-colored plastic feet on the bottom of the legs left light-colored rub marks on the home's dark-stained oak floors when the pads were removed. These socks truly fit on the leg bottom even to the shape of the leg better than I believe any rival silicon kind would have because the chair legs are very sculpted in a bulging style. The historic dining room chairs' dark wood and the floor protector socks' dark brown hues complement each other reasonably well.Please take note that we placed the floor protection socks on top of the adhesive pad, which was still affixed to the original plastic nail-on foot but had a significantly reduced diameter. Who would have believed that floor coverings for chair legs might alter our lives, but here we are.I had felt floor protectors applied with adhesive to my wooden kitchen chairs before I bought these. The chairs and the flooring in my kitchen are inexpensive laminate. They make it difficult to draw the chairs in and out of the table since they constantly scratch, scrape, and catch on the floors. After a few months, they were unusable since the felt would constantly fall off and gather dust and hair.My chairs now glide across the floor like butter thanks to the silicone floor guards I bought. They are made of flexible silicone, and the pre-cut slats along each of their four borders assist them to adapt to the chairs' legs.
