Alcohol usage and the use of some heavy petroleum products really does more damage than benefit and increases the amount of deposits. When using fuel that has been treated with those items, your automobile may appear to run a little better, but as soon as the product is diluted in subsequent tanks of gas, the car will quickly run worse. So what does the typical individual do? Purchase extra and re-mix it with the petrol (thinking it needs a little more cleaning). When the product is diluted, the automobile starts to operate a little bit better, but when it isn't, it stops again. I guess you get the picture. A good cleaner prevents this vicious loop from occurring.SI-1 Utilize: Titrating (mixing) a specific amount per tank is the ideal approach to use SI-1, as this is how it was intended to be used (depending on how much fuel you fill up with). I personally use about 1/10 to 1/4 bottle every 10 gallons, sometimes utilizing a larger concentration if my car's engine requires extra cleaning (personal choice) or if I have to use a lower-grade gas since there isn't enough fuel and there aren't many other options.Like most other fuel system cleaners on the market, the bottle's instructions advise using a whole bottle every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, however this isn't due to a change in recipe.
