AUTOOL Smoke Cone Leak Detector Exhaust Intake Boot Adapter Diagnostics for Automotive EVAP Leak Locator Tester Review:

I was thrilled with all the extras that came with the smoke machine when I first got it. Utilizing the smoke machine is quite easy. Simply switch it on, fill with oil, and connect to the vehicle's battery. In a short time, smoke will be produced. You don't need an additional supply of compressed air because this equipment includes an internal air compressor. Additionally, you may control the smoke's flow and pressure. I work as a mechanic, and my home serves as my modest shop. I was seeking for something reasonably priced. This smoke machine is fantastic value and has a three year warranty, therefore I would strongly suggest it. You won't look back on your purchase of this device.

AUTOOL SDT-202 Automotive 12V Locator Support EVAP Fuel Detector SDT202 Car Pipe Leak Tester for All Vehicle Review:

This smoke machine works as intended; I just used it for the first time this evening.Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the construction quality. The housing is made of simply two pieces of heavy-gauge steel, which are nearly perfectly welded and painted. Excellent! With flexible hoses, a pressure gauge filled with glycerin, and strong couplings, the total material quality appears to be very high. It seems to be here to stay.a few drawbacks1. There is no oil present. The description of the product truly doesn't make this obvious. A few ounces of oil should be included for $200 to get you going. It's frustrating but not the end of the world.2. The shipment had no instructions at all. The manufacturer's website has the bare minimum of instructions, but the product description indicates that an instruction manual is also provided. Annoyance 2.3. I disconnected the unit at 1.25 kg/cm2 because the device's compressor generates more pressure in the tubing than I'm really comfortable with (approx. 17psi). If this is "normal," I'll check with the vendor and update my review afterward. This device produces a *ton* of smoke, and it takes some time for it to go away. If you connect to your system close to where you suspect a leak may be, the smoke it emits while you're getting it connected will probably make it difficult for you to see. Additionally, you'll need sufficient ventilation because utilizing mineral oil produces an uncomfortable amount of smoke. In a recent update, the seller confirmed that the compressor will just operate constantly if connected to a power source and supplied a PDF of the instruction booklet. Due to the unregulated pressure created, this is a little annoying.

AUTOOL 1 SDT-206 Automotive EVAP Leaks Testing Machine, 12V Vehicle Pipes Fuel Leakage Detector Diagnositc Tester for Car/Motorcycles/Boat (Newest Dual Modes) Review:

The thing performed admirably. a great deal of smoke.Only 10 to 15 minutes can pass before it needs to cool down. If your leak is obvious, that's not a big deal. It can be annoying if your leak is located inside your intake, under a heat shield, or on top of the gasoline tank. The jumper points or another power source must be used if your battery is in the trunk because it also requires 12v electricity.I would have given it five stars if it could have operated continuously.

ATP AT-205 Re-Seal Stops Leaks, 8 Ounce Bottle Review:

Re-Seal worked for me, however I used it tragically and it cost me a lot of money. My tale:In May 2013, I purchased and put this device to use in my 2000 Toyota Camry. No of the temperature, every time I started the automobile, I would get a cloud of blue-white smoke. I assumed that over time, the valve stem seals had deteriorated. I decided that paying less than $10 for an additive was a safe bet because there was no way I was going to spend that much money on repairs for a 13-year-old vehicle. When I got home from work a few days after placing the Amazon order, it was already in the mailbox. I made the decision to open the hood and throw it in the crankcase because I was hungry and tired. On the drive to work the following day, I assumed it would blend in just fine. Yes, it did, and the smoke disappeared. Bingo! The $10 fix was successful!Three weeks later, when I was returning from work and heading to the grocery store, the oil light turned on. Not a flashing light like when the oil level is extremely low, but always on. Normally, I would have had it towed to a shop for repairs to prevent any engine damage, but I decided to finish my journey and carefully drive home (about 5 miles). While performing my best shade-tree mechanic maneuvers, such as replacing the oil pressure sending unit and other quick fixes I found online, I started driving my truck to work. No luck, so I had it towed to my neighborhood Toyota repair shop that wasn't a dealer for a diagnostic. They lowered the oil pan to inspect the pump because it actually had no oil pressure. It turned out that paint from the oil pan's inner lining had completely clogged the pickup screen. (Minor rant directed at Toyota: What on earth drove you to paint an engine component? I've only ever seen bare or zinc-plated oil pans.) I was restored to running condition after spending 600 dollars, however they couldn't promise there wasn't some bearing damage.Re-Seal is made to react with rubber seals, and since paint and rubber have some chemical similarities, I'm assuming that it did so with the paint in the oil pan to loosen it. If I hadn't just poured the Re-Seal in and let it sit for a bit without starting the engine, this would not have happened. A portion of the responsibility (or is it shame?) goes to Toyota and their irresponsible product design, but I accept most of the fault for not strictly according to the instructions.I was reminded to leave this review when I saw this item today as a Lightning Deal. I used the Re-Seal on my automobile over three years ago, and as of January 2017 the smoke issue has not resurfaced. I would suggest this product, at least in the case of the engine oil, provided you follow the implicit instructions (I have no other experience with it other than that). I wouldn't think twice to purchase this product again if my 1996 Toyota Tacoma experienced a problem similar to that described here.

Pressure Oil Rail Adapters Leak Test Kit for Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel Review:

Excellent product and fair pricing. Both pieces were correctly threaded for a 1/4" male air fitting. I have no idea why individuals claimed they couldn't. Good results for me. As long as you can close the IPR with a scan tool, there is a low-cost, simple solution to test the high pressure oil system on a 6. saves time compared to using that air fitting and pulling IPR. Have both perform the same task.

Bar's Leaks Liquid Aluminum Stop Leak - 16.9 oz Review:

My 3.8L supercharged Pontiac V6 vintage street rod's custom-built aluminum radiator started to slowly leak. On October 10th, 2018, I added around 3/4 of a bottle and, as directed, ran for half an hour down a nearby freeway. The bottom radiator plate was completely dry when I came home. Naturally, I was thrilled because removing that radiator (from a 1936 Chevy) is a lot of work. Since I've always been a motorhead, I am well aware of the benefits and drawbacks of "fixes in a bottle," and I admit that I was apprehensive to use stop leak. But just because something doesn't work in one circumstance doesn't mean it won't in another. I always keep the coolant in my ancient automobile in immaculate condition, and the radiator is just around four years old. Since "success" cannot be determined until some time has gone, I view this post as the first of "some more."UPDATE: I upgraded my rating to five stars. Everything in this product performed as promised. Radiator has not had any leaks.

Camco 10324 Gas Leak Detector with Sprayer - 8 oz Review:

Good results. A tiny gas leak was something I was able to find. This substance works more effectively than soap and doesn't appear to irritate the skin as much as Cal-Blue, which can burn your skin if you're not careful (I'm not). I unequivocally advise purchasing this item.As an aside, the first bottle that Amazon sent me had the cap unscrewed and was delivered by the mailman in a waste bag because it spilled all over itself. Amazon replaced it right away.
