Excellent value for organic! To me, getting cleaned and organic green beans is SO worth it. It's a vegetable that, when not organic, is heavily treated with chemicals. It doesn't hurt to get the organic option at this pricing. They are consistently lovely and very fresh every time I've ordered them.

We Pennsylvania Dutch refer to these as sugar peas. Before they were widely regarded as snow peas, we were already eating them. These are far superior to frozen ones because nobody likes to eat the strings that are still attached to frozen fruit. These were brand-new. They arrived in a plastic bag that was placed inside a net bag. Take them out of the plastic bag as soon as you acquire them and keep them in the net bag alone until you're ready to clean and prepare them. The first time I stored them in the plastic bag, I made a mistake, and by the time I cooked them, they were mushy. They keep fresh for a few days until I need them now that I only store them in the net bag. But the Penna, I prefer them with just browned butter. The German method is to cover them in butter and a little milk.
