fantastic appearance The hue enthrals my son. They have a solid, substantial feel. The padding is a little bit thinner than comparable shoulder pads, which is my only concern. It's not dangerous or renders them useless, but it just feels like they cut corners a little on the cushioning itself. I would still buy again based on pricing, style, and feel.

I enjoy the product's material, and it lasts much longer than our earlier, less expensive model. When a jersey is worn over these, the plastic "shoulder pads" do become constrictive and dig into my daughter's arm, which wasn't an issue before. She is a skinny 4-year-old. She doesn't complain about the fit and wears the football outfit every day at our house; it's only when I take it off that I notice the red marks on her mid/upper humerus. However, overall a good product.

I am ecstatic about my buy. A 300-pound offensive and defensive lineman, my son. He received an unusual blow and got a little stinging. With a stinger in the same shoulder, he ultimately had to leave the following game. So after taking him to the doctor to be examined, I purchased these. He hasn't played in them yet because they just arrived today.The adult size fits a 300-pound person quite fine. Reviewers that complain about size are either unaware of what they are purchasing, who it is for, or both. I had to tie them up and attach the plastic slide clips (adult installation necessary). The plastic strap clips may be improved. Although they could have teeth to better grip the chest strap, they are functional given the price.Simply because I am unsure of how they would feel in the game, I gave it four stars.

Okay, let me start by saying that neither I nor anyone I know fits the description of a young boy playing football. These were purchased for a cosplay.I had hoped to have shoulder armor like the Comedian from Watchmen, but I don't have the money to be completely accurate. I bought these with the idea that I could paint them to my liking, add some elastic, and wear them on my shoulders. I also hoped that the cup-like portion would be simple to remove from the foam foundation.They quickly came off, and once they did, they suited my shoulders nicely.
