A small oriental square needs to be fastened to the wood floor in a tight space by my back door. It's challenging since I use that door to transfer wood from the pile outside the entrance to the rolling transport cart for my fireplace. The full log cart frequently slides the carpet square or becomes stuck on it when I back it away from the door to get behind it before starting out to proceed toward the den. What a hassle. I've tried a few various techniques to secure the rug, but none of them have been successful. This tape is my most recent effort, and so far it's working out rather well. I made sure the carpet backing and floor were spotless and dust-free by adhering to the vendor's email instructions. I first fastened two lengths of the tape to the carpet's backing, placed it where I wanted it, and then set it down on the floor and firmly pressed it down with my feet.Despite the fact that it is summer, I tested the log cart by filling it with wood from the recently cleaned-out storage room adjacent to the fireplace. There was no issue with the cart moving the rug. It is a flat, strong, close-weave rug that is only 1.5 feet square and was created as a sample for a larger Persian rug. It has served me well, but has endured a lot of abuse in that place. Fortunately, I found it on discount when a carpet store closed. Given that it isn't being trampled all over the room anymore, I anticipate it will last a lot longer. I'm confident in this tape's ability to keep its position well enough to proceed with attaching the outdoor carpet treads that are now on my garage steps. They move around even though they have rubber backing, so it will be wonderful to have them anchored as well. I also want to give it a shot in a few additional challenging situations where it will be put to the test. If there are any new developments that would be relevant to add after the tape has been down for some time, I'll update.

My cat likes to tear through the carpets in the halls and use them as a rudder, so I bought this product to use as directed. I was seeking for a technique to attach the carpets to the wooden floors in the entryways because my cat likes to do both, which leads to pile-ups there. Cute but irritating. It performs just as promised and in accordance with the advertisement. On that, I'd be willing to stake my own reputation.The manufacturer, in my opinion, is not giving the product or its capabilities justice.I like to tinker, but this is hands-down the greatest adhesive product I have ever used, and I have tried many. It is thin enough to be utilized between almost anything and not be seen, easy to use, easy to stick, thick enough to be pressed into porous materials. ( Only something that needs a non-sticky side, like scotch tape, could not be replaced by this product as an adherent. I would also be hesitant to apply it on paper because the glue-like substance would probably result in the wet paper poster appearance that is brought on by rubber cement-type substances. However, if you glued it, it would not come off unless you wanted it to, and yes, I believe that if finished, you could even remove it off paper as long as you did it quickly.)I've discovered that it has countless uses, and I haven't even begun to use up the entire roll I bought; it will probably last a lifetime. I just hope it will still be available in around 10 years when I do need another roll.This stuff is incredible and can be used for everything and everywhere. They are doing a terrible job of marketing it. This glue, which has two sides like Scotch tape, is portable and can be used in that way. It was challenging to do so, but with the aid of a solvent and a hard surface, it came off easily (without the solvent it did leave a slight residue that was hard to remove). If used on the back of your carpet, it will stick, and if removed from a piece of carpet, it would not be advisable because I do not believe it would be simple to do so and would probably tear it to pieces. If used on the back of your carpet, however, I am fairly certain the carpet would be intact and undamaged. Why, in my opinion, would you want to take the tape off the carpet's backing? Typically, that signifies you are relocating, so get a new one (I guess if you have expensive throw carpeting - maybe this would be a concern - myself - this is not an issue). The fact that there was a bad review of this led me to believe it was pertinent, and while I do think that the back of a carpet is relevant, it is not deserving of a bad rating. It wouldn't likely be simple to get rid of from a carpet's reverse side. I recently installed wall-to-wall low-pile carpeting with the idea of laying my Oriental rugs on top of it. A runner was among them. I soon discovered that simply stepping on the rugs made them substantially slide. After a few strolls, the runner had lost all balance. The Kraftex double-sided tape was simple to use and does a fantastic job of holding the rugs in place. A warning, please. Try placing the tape at a different angle if the rug still skews a little after that. If you initially applied the tape lengthwise, for instance, apply it widthwise. I heartily endorse it. The plastic that was used to package the product was one small criticism. Removing it required more effort than using the product itself! This, however, in no way lessens my joy with the actual product.

The suction cups in the shower eventually lose their grip. Between the plastic suction cups and the ceramic tile, Goop created a watertight bond.Glass, plastic, metal, leather, vinyl, rubber, brick, marble, copper, tile, wood, pottery, steel, and fabric all have bonding properties. I fastened rubber-backed carpet padding to a wood staircase with the help of the tape. I needed something detachable so that I could easily take the carpet pads out in the future. The rubber keeps the pads in place, but the dog has a tendency to kick them around. As a result, I required strong double sided tape.It is a very thin tape, so it works best if you adhere one side to the object, take off the cover, then stick the other side to the surface. With his large hands, my husband tried to use the adhesive tape by himself without the backing on one side, but it didn't work. The tape was beginning to wrinkle. We installed "premium vinyl" flooring as part of our kitchen renovation. It has a pattern that resembles wood planks and feels somewhat soft and spongy like linoleum. It was reasonably priced and appeared to be more durable than other options for flooring.Sadly, the flooring developed a dime-sized hole before the renovation was even finished! It probably happened accidentally when some of the guys had to relocate the oven, in my opinion. A white interior was also visible beneath the typically gray flooring thanks to the hole. The worst.I filled the hole in the floor using this sealing material. The shade of gray blends well. It is possible to see the repair spot if you look closely. You can feel that the material has a slight softness to it. But if you didn't look too closely or go down to feel the floor, you wouldn't even notice that a repair had been made.Consequently, it is an excellent product for me and has helped to lessen some of my tension related to the hole in the new floor.

I used this on the area around my vanity and toilet.With the help of my hair dryer, I warmed the strip as I proceeded, and it easily curved around the corners.This was a terrific substitute for the sticky caulking because my toilet had a significant gap underneath it because it wasn't level.Just some guidance. Make sure the protective layer is still covering the adhesive portion of the tape when you heat it up so that it won't adhere to the floor or whatever you're wrapping it around and produce a sticky white mess.Without a doubt, I would repurchase, however if you want to work around curves and corners, invest in a heat gun or a hair dryer. If not, it won't operate!
