I bought this big fountain to use inside. Some reviewers claimed that it does, in fact, spray a little amount of water beyond its bounds; others said you could control and slow it; still others were unsure; and the majority recommended placing it outdoors. I nearly returned it when I first received it. It was much more stunning and durable than I had anticipated, and I adore the way the water forms sheets as it flows down its spillways. Yes, there is a means to control the water flow, but even on the lowest level, there are still a few droplets sprayed continuously. This would gradually be damaging the floor. My family was bonded to it and pleaded with them to let us have it even though they were willing to give it back. Then I thought of another sizable indoor appliance, our washing machine, which rarely leaks but makes a huge mess when it does. The answer, which is also readily available on Amazon for only about $20, is a basin that is precisely the perfect size to capture all of the spray or potential accidents and spills. A month later, it's still running flawlessly. A few drips splash out, but they are far gone from the basin before they can leave. We never have a problem as long as the Astro-turf is not damaged.

I was surprised to learn that the item came with a solar-powered pump that sits in the fountain and runs to keep the birdbath free of mold and mildew when I received it. That was a benefit because I must have overlooked that in the product description. On a sunny day, it will occasionally "spurt" unless the sun is directly shining on the panel in which case the fountain will run nonstop. In any case, it is moving the water to avoid stagnation on bright days, so I am happy. The solar component is off-center since I was unable to get it to sit perfectly in the middle, but it still functions as intended. Everything else is as expected and described.

This product has significantly improved my quality of life! The fountain looks fantastic tucked among our planted containers and the soothing sound of the water is wonderful. Working out on our deck when the water is flowing is such a pleasure. Given that it appears to be hefty pottery, you won't be able to believe how lightweight it is. The dark red terra cotta color complements my planters beautifully. The setup process was quite simple. We loathe to turn it off, even at night, so I've taken care to maintain the water level up. Additionally, this was considerably less expensive than the fountains I saw at our local garden center, which I didn't even like as much. I'm hoping the same firm creates other styles so I can purchase those as well. highly advisable

My waterfall fountain is wonderful. For over a year, I had been looking at products from various manufacturers in this similar style with the mirror and stainless steel when one day Jersey Home Decor's products appeared on Amazon at an incredibly low price. Without any reviews, I was apprehensive to buy, but after speaking with them, I decided to take a chance and place an order. Yay! Good choice. This fountain is lovely, and the sound of falling water that I can hear throughout my apartment is just what I wanted. The instructions were mediocre, but when I phoned and asked questions, they were incredibly attentive and sent me answers. I can't recall the name of the individual who ultimately assisted me in solving all of our issues. He was prompt in his response, kind, concise, and persistent. I was having problems with my pump, and he immediately obtained me a replacement. Without any of their fault, it really required a couple more repairs before it was fixed, but Jersey Home Decor did an excellent job of moving quickly to get it done. It's almost perfect now that I've used shells I've collected in place of the provided pebbles. I simply need to choose low-light plants to surround it with that won't be poisonous to my cat (any suggestions?). Meanwhile, I would like to thank Jersey Decor for producing such a lovely fountain at a lower cost and for their exceptional customer service. I heartily endorse you and will provide pictures once the plants are growing. The sound of the water flowing and the shifting LED lights are hypnotic.

6/18/18... Do not be intimidated by the packaging's size. To avoid damage, it is securely packaged. Over the weekend (Father's Day), I put my water fountain together without much difficulty. I have no issues. Make careful to insert the tiny sponge they supply underneath the pump as it sits on the base's bottom. Don't take it away. Use distilled water as well because it has been purified to remove contaminants that could obstruct water movement. Be sure to fill the water one inch above the pump and you will need nearly five gallons. This keeps the machine quiet and makes it possible for the water stream to flow easily. Pouring water is quite simple; all you have to do is lift the plate holding the rocks. The valve can be used to slow down the default streaming, which is a little too quickly. I left the fountain running for more than 24 hours before noticing a slight interruption in the water stream and an increase in pump noise. The water level was just below the pump when I checked it. Everything was back to normal after I filled the water level above the necessary amount. For those who prefer a calm fountain, the sound of the water can be a touch too loud. The sound is wonderful, thus this is ideal. Splashing is nonexistent. Therefore, if you are on the top balcony level, it is fantastic both inside and outside. I had visitors who adored it. They are seriously considering buying this item. For a fountain that is six feet tall, Amazon's price was pretty fair. I anticipate having a long life and having fun.

I've been really enjoying this so far. This was purchased for my kitten as a water bowl. Unbelievably, these are less expensive and look far better than the "for cats" versions. He adores it and uses it to drink much more than he would from a typical dish. No matter how full I keep it, some water still spills out into the floor, so I bought a couple of bar mats (like at a bar where they dry the glasses) to lay underneath it.

Great results! After reading reviews, I was concerned, but I haven't had any issues. Once the screws were tightened, the stand went together quickly and felt solid. It needs a lot of water to mist correctly, so perhaps that is a problem that others have had, but once the bowl is nearly full, it works well. Another customer said that no matter how hard they tried, the cord would not fit in the hole in the bowl, so that scared me as well. Mine initially appeared in this fashion, but it only need some working in. Overall, I'm quite pleased with my purchase.

Arrived ahead of schedule and was properly packed. Although written in small font, the instructions are fairly obvious. Up until the point when you have to install the pump, the instructions are rather straightforward. Although it takes some time, positioning foundation screws in the holes is not impossible. It requires some maneuvering to fit and attach the copper pipe after inserting the pump. It is best to wait until the pump fits properly underneath it before tightening the copper connection tubing. Additionally, tuck the thick pump wire between the provided u-shaped slots; this will improve the pump's fit. Simply level the ground to ensure a consistent water flow, and you have a gorgeous fountain for a very affordable price. The birds adore the sound it creates, and so do we.

The tubing was broken and split when I initially purchased this fountain a few years ago; I had to use duct tape to keep it from leaking. But I gave it another go after seeing it on sale. I'm glad they switched to softer, more flexible material for the tubing. Lightweight, simple to put together, and requires little water. so happy this time.
