If not, tighten it up to prevent water intrusion.Only two of the lights in the two boxes I opened did not function for me. These tiny candles were purchased since I needed them for a wedding reception and they were advertised to last for 4-5 hours. I tested one today because I was suspicious about it. They didn't fit in my vase, which I had intended to use for bud vases. In order to get it to fit in the vase, I literally had to peel off some of the diameter like I was peeling a potato.
