Best Flatware Sets in 2020

Travel Utensils, Tifanso Reusable Utensils with Case, Portable Travel Camping Cutlery Set, 9-Piece including Knife Fork Spoon Chopsticks Cleaning Brush Metal Straws, Stainless Steel Flatware Set Review:

I just received this silverware set. I wanted something for work because after buying an inexpensive silverware in to share with my co workers all the forks and steak knives disappeared. I decided I just needed something for myself. I don’t really need the straws, but I’ll try them out at home. The cleaning brush is nice. It has a rubber tip on the point. The cleaning brush is slightly bigger than my case, but ultimately I wouldn’t want to store it with my dishes.
When looking at the pictures trying to decide if these were normal sized dishes I didn’t know. I could have looked at other silverware sold on this site to compare, but out of all the travel sets this one looked like the best offer, so I went with it.
I took pictures to show this set and compared it with a set of silverware that has lasted me 10 years by the company Gibson. The knife is longer than mine, and the fork the handle is longer and the tines are slightly shorter, and the spoon is similar to my tablespoon. While the sizes and shape slightly varies from my set I would say that this silverware set is of average size and should work well.
The silverware arrived in the pouch. Squeezing the pouch I’m reminded of bubble wrap. The string on the end is slightly frayed. I’ll trim it and knot it to prevent more fraying, however I think I’ll use the plastic container most of the time.
My plan is the use the fork, knife, spoon and a cheap steak knife in the plastic container while I’m at work. Hopefully no one will decide to steal my travel set.

LIANYU 20-Piece Silverware Flatware Cutlery Set, Stainless Steel Utensils Service for 4, Include Knife/Fork/Spoon, Mirror Polished , Dishwasher Safe Review:

I have more expensive flatware that I don't really like. On a lark I decided to buy this. It's cheap. I like the shape of it better. It fits in your hand and doesn't have pressure points. So far, in my dishwasher, I don't see a bunch of rust like I've seen in other flatware sets I've had. But like I said, It's cheap. The knives seem pretty stout, but the spoons and forks are thinner and are not as nice. But, that's not saying they are bad. If I was just starting out... perhaps a college student, or getting my first apartment, then these would be just fine. Amazing value if you put it in the right context.

Silverware Set, HaWare 10-Piece Flatware Set, Stainless Steel Cutlery Set for Couples/Singles/Students, Service for 2, Mirror Polished, Dishwasher Safe Review:

I love silverware that has a good feel to it; particularly with regards to mass. This silverware fits the bill. It is very sleek with the knives actually being slightly serrated so they can do some light cutting. The small forks are fairly dainty as well. While this isn't intended to be a luxury set by any means, for the same price it looks and feels like much higher quality than what one might find from one of those mass department stores. Recommended.

Radley & Stowe 20-Piece Flatware Solid Stainless Steel Silverware Set (Designer Grade with Matte Finish Handle), 4 Table Settings Review:

I received a 20-piece set, and I like them well enough to order a second set. Will get rid of my ancient, mismatched silverware. Don't know how they will hold up over time, but I like the look and heft of them, and the price is reasonable for my budget.

My single complaint, which applies to almost all silverware I've seen lately, is the pieces are large. The dessert fork is slightly bigger than my grandmother's dinner forks from 50+years ago. So the dessert forks will be used as our dinner forks, and the bigger forks will be serving forks. The knives and spoons are also extra large. I prefer smaller pieces, thus 4 stars instead of 5 from me.

LIANYU Silverware Set 20-Piece, Stainless Steel Flatware Utensils Set Service for 4, Simple Look & Modern Design, Dishwasher Safe Review:

Beautiful, sturdy, and a great value.
We’ve been using this flatware set for a few weeks and can’t say enough good things about them. Firstly, the quality really surprised us. These aren’t some flimsy, cheap utensils… in fact, we love the heft of them. The small fork weighs in at .9 oz. The large one weighs 1.3 oz. The teaspoon is 1.1 oz. and the tablespoon is 1.5 oz. Then the knife weighs in at 2.7 oz. These are not only good looking, they feel great in the hand. The knife’s serrated blade has cut everything from steak to butter and looked good doing it.
The design is sleek and very easy to keep clean with no grooves, carvings, or distractions. Just modern and practical.
We’ve used these in “real-world” everyday conditions. They air-dry great. We haven’t seen any staining or tarnishing. We’d recommend these to anyone and at the price!? Wow!
We’re seriously thinking of getting the 5-piece serving set as an addition to our everyday tableware. We should have gotten the 45-piece set including the serving pieces at a reduced price. Buy these terrific products. We don’t think you’ll be disappointed. We weren’t.

Royal 20-Piece Silverware Set – 18/10 Stainless Steel Utensil Forks Spoons Knives Set, Mirror Polished Cutlery Flatware Set - Curved Design Review:

Like most people, I always want the best and I want the cheapest. It’s a curse but luckily I have mastered the art of patience and willpower so without sounding like a privileged baby, I can *usually wait until the right time to get what I want. Having said that, I’ve been shopping for silverware for two YEARS and some sort of miracle price-angel put these on sale for $20 so I went for it. 40 pieces! They’re exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy, artsy in an unpretentious way but minimal enough to be classic and versatile. Properly weighted and the shine is refreshing each time I open my silverware drawer. I would’ve easily paid $40 or more. Thank you for ending my long search!

Brightown 45-Piece Silverware Flatware Cutlery Set in Ergonomic Design Size and Weight, Durable Stainless Steel Tableware Service for 8, Dishwasher Safe Review:

I am not sure what happened to my last set of silverware, but in the course of the last year or so, most of my spoons went AWOL. I sort of expected it when I had a toddler, but that never happened. Now that he's a teenager, spoons are suddenly scarce. That's in addition to the several that took rides in the disposal, since no one actually looks before they push the button.

I wanted to have more than three spoons in my three person household, but didn't want to spend a fortune in case this trend of silverware abuse/theft continued. I took a chance on this set since it's so well reviewed.

It's easily better quality than the more expensive Farberware set that it's replacing. It's also better reviewed than that set, which I'd been debating buying to just add to the remaining pieces I have. It's heavy, doesn't stain or rust in several runs through the dishwasher.

Overall, I'm really pleased and pleasantly surprised!

New Star Foodservice 58864 Slimline Pattern, Stainless Steel, 36-Piece Flatware Set Review:

For several years I have been looking for what people used to call a "5 o'clock spoon," which is a spoon larger than a standard spoon, but not gigantic like a serving spoon. I thought this New Star 58123 slimline stainless steel dinner spoon might be what I was looking for. But unfortunately, it did not turn out to be as large as I was hoping it would be. As you can see in the attached photo, it is larger than a standard spoon that you could find at the dollar store. But it is not all *that* much larger than a regular dollar store spoon.

The product I eventually found that I really liked the size of was the MCIRCO "oval large" style spoon, which is also pictured in the attached photo, for comparison, and can be found on Amazon here: MCIRCO 8-piece Stainless Steel Table Spoon Dinner Spoon Set

What I liked better about the New Star dinner spoon: smooth edges

What I liked better about the MCIRCO dinner spoon: larger size, better balanced, classier finish

It is true that with the MCIRCO spoons, I had to go through them and fish out the ones with rough edges and throw those in the charity box. This netted me four "good" spoons, which I kept. And at the low price for the MCIRCO's, I can't complain. Of those four good MCIRCOs I kept, they are such a nice size--just what I was looking for and have so far seemed sturdy.

The New Star spoons are holding up fine, too. They're nice. I like the glossiness of the finish and the weight. I just wish they were a little larger.

AmazonBasics 20-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Silverware Set with Pearled Edge, Service for 4 Review:

I'm just "ok" with the pattern. It's simple, well-done as far as consistency, and pretty low-key. We're getting these before the listing page is even done, so I couldn't see details of the pattern til they arrived. I don't know what pix they'll end up using, so I've added a few of my own.

The reason I'm still giving it 5 stars is sheer quality of construction. These are *nicely* done. Good solid metal, no wimpiness at all. The tines on the forks aren't real thick, so there's no worry about them shredding your food ;) but they're still very strong metal. I'm frankly very impressed with the quality.

The serration on the knives is a great compromise of cutting ability or more delicate things like buttering toast without trashing it.

The spoons have good sized bowls in the more elongated style.

I enjoy using different patterns in things like flatware, glassware, and other types, so I won't be getting more of these, but I will definitely be putting these in for our every day use, and I'll update if any issues pop up.

Matte Black Silverware Set , Satin Finish 20-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set,Kitchen Utensil Set Service for 4,Tableware Cutlery Set for Home and Restaurant, Dishwasher Safe Review:

** update **
I have been using them for a while on all temps, foods, drinks etc with washing them quite frequently and the color is still just as beautiful as ever. No fading, chipping, or discoloration. I am so happy and ordered a second set. If you’re contemplating buying them or unsure over another brand buy these. I love them and so happy I got them. So unique and beautiful. The second photo is after some use the first photo is fresh out of the package.

Ok so far it seems sturdy, the color is beyond beautiful and goes great with my matte black dishes. I am in love and these utensils are amazing! Will update after some use to see how they hold up.
