After changing filters, it was challenging to properly install the previous seal for our water filtration system. It appears to have slightly extended in some way. Even if it's a bother, I can still make it seal and go where it should. This seal fits better and is less difficult to use. I believe our old seal has been in use for about 20 years (since the house was built). It probably owes us not much at this point, I suppose. And if I had to, I can still make it work lol! But I'm happy to have the new seal.

Two issues prevented this from receiving a perfect score.1) Because the SAE box and the Metric box are identical, the small gauge that tells you how thick an o-ring is is indicated in MM rather than SAE...There wouldn't be any math, so I was told.2) The metric size box was missing the item I wanted (if I had known the exact size of the o-ring before hand I would have just bought that one size). So let's hope that 2.5x16mm will function where 3.5x17mm is required.

At the nearby big-box hardware stores, you could probably only find a dozen or so gaskets for this price. If they even have the size you require. Almost any size you may want is available here. Many individuals might not be aware of the numerous additional uses for them. Every flashlight that calls itself waterproof likely lacks one or two gaskets in crucial locations. Use a gasket if you need to drill a screw into something and keep water or moisture out. Larger diameter gaskets would have been nice to have included in this package as well, but I suppose those could be more of a specialized item. In general, you can't go wrong with this.

When I first bought a Moen faucet a few years back, the pull-out wand started to malfunction. The firm provided me a new pull-out wand because the previous one had a manufacturing defect. The new wand's built-in screen presented an issue because it significantly reduced the water flow. I decided to explore what I could do to restore the water flow to what it was after becoming frustrated with the reduced water flow for a year or two.
