This thing was excellent. My fiancé and I decided to make a night of it, and we enjoyed ourselves while also getting the added benefit of brighter, smoother skin. His skin suffers from spending so much time in the kitchen as a professional chef, yet this worked AMAZING! He took more away from it than I did, but as a woman, I cleaned my skin more frequently than he does. His skin had changed for the better as soon as the mask was removed. I've always had acne, and I'm a 52-year-old registered nurse. My skin has developed a very harsh texture. Due to the lack of ACV, I mixed the clay with water. (Next time, I might give it a shot.) It was on for thirty minutes. To keep the clay out of my drain, I removed it using a washcloth (GENEROUSLY) and hot water in a plastic bowl. I'm positive my skin has never been as clean or as soft as a baby's bottom. The enjoyable part now! Put it on, get a magnifying mirror, settle in somewhere well-lit, and watch. See how many little black specks start to appear? No, you didn't inadvertently add black pepper powder. That is a blackhead. Keep an eye out since the whiteheads will follow. This is much better than trying to squeeze them out and upsetting your skin (and causing dark patches). I suggest doing this once every two weeks to start, and then you can decide whether you can handle once a week or if you need to limit it to once a month, etc. Last words of wisdom: Never expose your face to the sun. Use a physical sunscreen, such as titanium dioxide, if you have no other option. Save the cleaning for the pots and pans; don't scrub this. Find a hyaluronic acid moisturizer that is plain, has no extra fragrance, and has not been tested on animals. Keep your hands away from your face, for Pete's sake! (Be gentle with your skin.)

So, even though I never ever leave reviews on Amazon, I read a TON of them BEFORE purchasing it and felt a little deflated. I was quite alarmed when many individuals said that it made their skin worse because I have been diligently attempting to cure some black scars on my face and close certain pores. Basically, I want my skin to appear good enough that I can skip the cosmetics. Anyway, like I mentioned, I read both a lot of very positive and a lot of very negative reviews, so I was apprehensive. I've tried Kiehls white clay masks, but they didn't do anything for my skin. I've also tried charcoal peel-off masks, but those didn't work much better either. Since I reside in New York City and can see pores between my eye brows, on my nose, and on my chin, I am ALWAYS conscious of the fact that the air pollution causes my face to become quite unclean very quickly.So, after giving it a lot of thought, I decided to just buy it (because it's a reasonable deal), do it correctly, and see what would happen.The first time I tried it, I concentrated mostly on my problem areas to see if it would shrink the pores, and I just left it on for ten minutes (honestly, it was probably less than ten). I mixed Braggs ACV in a glass bowl with a plastic spoon ( absolutely no water). I gave it a very gentle wash after noticing only a tiny amount of redness, and I applied some vitamin E oil and all-natural lotion right away to prevent dryness. (When I moisturized my face, I MADE SURE I had CLEAN hands.)The next morning, my skin's spots were a little bit lighter and my pores were less noticeable. I must admit that I frequently gaze at my face in the magnified side of the mirror under the awful bright light, and when I did that, my pores appeared smaller! I was pleased because there was a change, even though it wasn't a significant one.Although it should only be done once a week, I've done it a few more times because I enjoy it so much. Today, the area between my eyebrows was a touch dry, but little lotion took care of that. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcomes because there haven't been any significant breakouts or redness.If you are willing, able, and patient to test it out and move slowly, I would highly recommend it. I waited until the third time to use it over my complete face since I wanted to first see how my problem regions responded. I went on to a full face mask as I didn't have any issues with it. You can't casually peel this mask on and off, and you do need to be careful to avoid getting clay bits down the pipe because they will harden and clog the drain. I've therefore been debating getting this mask for over a year. I just got it last week and I'm very happy I made the purchase! My skin is extremely oily, prone to acne, and sensitive. After stopping birth control, my formerly clear face turned into a mess of blackheads, whiteheads, and clogged pores, along with cystic acne on my back, neck, and chin, which left scars. The majority of acne products—salicylic acid, retinoids, etc.—make my breakouts worse. I detest the bleached towels, clothes, etc. after the benzoyl peroxide briefly works and then quits. Because of my sensitive eyes, many lotions and cosmetics cause them to moisten and itch. I tried the organic coconut oil technique, but it made my eczema worse. I saw a dermatologist about a year and a half ago, and I was prescribed antibiotics and a costly lotion. Fortunately, the cream had a discount, and it worked to some extent. However, the antibiotics made me feel sick. When I attempted to acquire a refill, the discount was no longer valid. The cost would be in the hundreds of dollars. It just wasn't worth it because I still had acne. Despite my attempts with an over-the-counter retinoid, the retinization process did not end as expected. The redness, dryness, and painful, damaged skin became intolerable as the acne got worse. So I bought this. I combined a tablespoon of it with a tablespoon of mother-infused, organic acv. I merely used my fingers because I didn't have a good brush. It sort of fizzes up. I apply it to my neck, upper chest, and upper back, where I break out. Your face will pulse, according to the warning label on the canister. They are truthful! I gave it 20 to 30 minutes to sit. It is the most restrictive mask I've ever worn. You are immobile. I used a washcloth to rinse in the shower. It takes some time to remove everything. I had red skin, which is supposedly typical. It feels fantastic! I follow it with an aloe Vera gel toner and rose water witch hazel toner. I initially assumed once a week, but I later learned that's for regular skin, and you can use it more frequently. Every other day or two will do. I've now used it three times. Already, my upper back is more lucid than it has been in a long time. My face is getting better. It's AMAZING! On days off, I wash my face twice a day with Milf soap and apply aloe vera gel, rose water, and witch hazel toner. I do the same thing in the morning, although I apply spf lotion beneath makeup rather than aloe. I try to wear as little makeup as possible while my skin clears up. Sorry for the lengthy review, but I'll be pleased if it may assist anyone else who is in the same situation.

Last night, I dared to experiment and used this Aliceva black peel-off mask on the area around my nose. I was expecting it to feel like my skin was drying up and stretching or itching like other masks I've tried, but it didn't—it felt extremely comfortable while it dried! These masks are just fantastic! The thick hydrogel's tight fit around your face, capacity to hold more liquid, and ability to retain moisture longer than paper-based sheet masks allow the serum or essence to penetrate your skin deeply. Just to be clear, I think the hydrogel masks in the 5 pack are different from the paper sheet masks in the 10 box. I had never tried hydrogel, which is a thick gummy or jelly-like substance, but now that I have, I genuinely believe it is significantly better than the paper or fiber sheet masks.Aside from the hydrogel, a few other aspects of these masks that I particularly value include;1. They are incredibly wet and serum-filled. A bit too much, which is fantastic since I can squeeze some of the excess into a clean serum bottle for later use by opening a corner of the packaging and using a funnel. I've been able to treat my face every day for a week using the leftover serum from each mask, which is around 1/4 ounce. While still leaving more than enough moisture in the mask itself to be moist for at least 30 minutes.2. Other masks have caused my pores to clog, causing breakouts, or leaving my skin feeling "sticky." The smooth, silky, and well-hydrated feeling my skin has after using them, however, makes a perfect base for applying makeup. My skin has really changed for the better!3. Considering the price, the ingredients are quite impressive! No alcohol, parabens, or sulfates, but a lot of botanical extracts, stem cells, minerals, hyarolonic acid, collagen, etc. Similar masks sell for four to five times as much, if not more, at retail stores.4. I particularly like that these masks are made in the United States after having a terrible allergic response to a different brand. While looking into possible causes, I came across a recent hygiene scandal involving some sheet masks produced in Korea. Mold, hair, insects, and other contaminants were discovered inside the masks, apparently as a result of lax manufacturing laws that allow Korean businesses to have housewives fold and stuff the sheets in the packets at their own homes with their bare hands while sitting on the floor. I have no way of knowing if that product was the cause of that serious allergic response, but after worrying about the possibility of anaphylactic shock, I prefer American manufacturing standards.5. In addition to being cruelty-free, these masks are also hypoallergenic, which is crucial (in my opinion).

I adore using these face masks. Last year, my pals introduced me to sheet masks, and I've since tried a variety of brands and styles.
