These brushes are ideal if you want to make the ideal crisp wing for a cat eye.Over the past year, I've struggled with various brushes and shapes, which has caused me to redo my wing several times and waste time getting ready. These brushes have a great narrow profile and a sharp point. They produce a lovely, thin line that makes it simple to achieve the end's sharp cat eye point. A boring point to your wing is the worst!They maintain their shape after washing and launder well. They work great when I use a liquid eyeliner cushion pot with them. Because of the price, I considered buying these brushes, however they are well worth the money! For a faultless appearance, the fine tips also make it easier to insert liner in between the lashes! I've been experimenting with a variety of eyeliner brushes over the past few months in an effort to find the best one for my winged eyeliner look. Although I haven't used the MAC 210, this one is the best thus far. But since this one works so well, I doubt the MAC could be that much better to justify the price difference. With this brush, you have a lot of control and it's simple to draw very fine or thin lines as well as thicker ones. One of the issues I've had with previous brushes is that because the top is so thin, it's simple to make the end of the eyeliner quite sharp as well. One item to keep in mind is that this brush's handle is synthetic, not wood. It doesn't bother me at all, but others might not. The brush is still attractive and quite light thanks to it. Pro tip: I use this brush to create a stay-all-day liner that applies quickly and smoothly by dipping it first into a drop of Inglot Duraline and then into a Bobby Brown long wear gel pot. I adore the Bobby Brown gel pot because it lasts so long, but I find that it almost always dries out too quickly. This problem is resolved by adding the Duraline to it! In any event, I washed the brush right away and it appears to have held its shape very well, which is another frequent issue that annoys me! This brush is outstanding, especially for the price!

Although I adore cosmetics, I detest washing brushes. Who carries? Lol. However, as a single mother on disability benefits, I am unable to go out and spend hundreds of dollars on brushes to expand my collection. However, I also do not want to use cheap, flimsy brushes that hurt when I use them. I just got these today, and I wanted to use them straight away since they are so gorgeous and so soft. This is ideal if you like very thin eyeliner. First first, the wand's length is sufficient for me to hold it steadily in my hand without any issues. Sometimes these disposable makeup tools are so tiny that you can hardly get a good grip on them, making them ineffective. The brush tip is also a decent length; it is essentially the same shape from base to tip and is just long enough so that it doesn't bend too readily. The width is rather little, roughly the width of a blanket stitching needle. You will need to modify your liquid or gel eyeliner application technique in order to use this effectively. You must make use of the full brush, not just the tip. In order to remove the brush from the gel, I find it simplest to insert it vertically. Make every effort to distribute the substance evenly and without clumps. The brush should then be placed flat against the eyelid. I find it most comfortable to place it directly above the lash line. This appears to operate flawlessly. When trying to achieve a thicker lash line or a huge wing, this product falls short. The brush tip is so tiny that drawing with it would take an eternity and require regular product application. However, a thin line looks more natural and is ideal if you have hooded eyes or small eyelids. By switching from black to dark brown eyeliner, I was able to achieve the no-makeup look while still making my eyes appear wider and more awake.

This thin, long-handled brush is the best I've discovered in the 45 years that I've been using cake eyeliner with water. Just a few weeks ago, I purchased my first Simply Essentials brush. While using it every day since then is hardly a rigorous test, you can typically tell very immediately if one is going to work. The bristles haven't split, bent, or become unruly yet. A decent brush is crucial to eyeliner in my opinion. I've occasionally tried different forms, but nothing has ever worked for me. Liquid, gel, and ink lines frequently spread, glob, clump, or wobble. Nothing offers me control like a decent brush, and while I can't say this one is better than any other, it is as excellent as you can find on a mid-range budget. If this is your first time using eyeliner, everything will require a little practice.

Exact as predicted. I use one for my brows every day. The spoolie side serves its purpose, and the thin bristles allow for a fine, sharp line.The spoolie end did come out after using the brush for only one week, but I immediately taped it back on and there is no change, so that's the sole reason for 4 stars.
