Are all eyeglass screws the same size? No, they are not. There are many different sizes of screws used in eyeglasses. The most common sizes are 1.0mm, 1.2mm, and 1.4mm.
If your glasses arm is broken, there are a few things you can do to try and fix it. First, try using clear nail polish or super glue to reattach the arm to the frame. If that doesn't work, you can try taping the arm to the frame with clear tape. If your glasses are still not staying on your face, you may need to take them to a local optician to have them repaired or replaced.
If your glasses are made of plastic, you can use superglue to fix them. First, clean both surfaces that will be glued together. Next, apply a small amount of glue to one surface. Be sure not to use too much, or it will take longer to dry and could run the risk of getting glue on your skin or in your eye. Finally, press the two surfaces together and hold for a few seconds. The glue should dry within a few minutes.
If your glasses are only slightly broken, you may be able to fix them with super glue. First, clean both surfaces that will be glued together. Next, apply a small amount of glue to one surface. Be sure not to use too much, as this can make the repair less effective. Finally, press the two surfaces together and hold for a few seconds. Allow the glue to dry completely before wearing your glasses again.

For all it comes with—six different screwdrivers, a pair of tweezers, a tiny convertible portable screwdriver, and hundreds of screws in sixteen different sizes—this package was an incredible value. I tightened numerous screws and replaced two of them. I merely tried different screws until one fit well because the compartments in the screw box are labeled, but the sizes have no meaning to me.There are roughly six screwdrivers "They are manageable in tight locations since they are lengthy and have textured plastic grips. It comes in a ziplock bag similar to the ones used for small electronic components, and so far, that has served as the kit's case effectively. In the bag, the kit measures roughly 7.5" long, 4" wide, and 1" "deep. As a result, this is made to be kept at home in a drawer rather than being stowed away in a bag or glove box.

I purchased this to fix yet another set of glasses that had a sidepiece screw fall out.I could have brought the glasses elsewhere and possibly gotten it done for free, but it would have been a hassle.I picked up the screw with a little pair of forceps, held it while inserting it, and then screwed it in. simple fix.Although I didn't look at every screw, they all appear to have Phillips heads. The screwdriver that is included contains flat and Phillips blades. I have to say that the phillips screwdriver is much simpler to tighten than the flat screwdriver I'm used to.One caution is to handle the plastic case carefully to prevent spilling screws. After spilling even a few of them, it would be hard to organize them!

Glasses and Sunglass Nosepads often degrade with time and need to be replaced with a fresh pair in order to maintain the comfort and proper adjustment of an eyeglass frame. Quite often, a nose pad or nose pads also get dislodged from an eyewear frame and need replacing.
Suitable for most eyeglasses, you can assemble and remove it by yourself.
Soft PVC material,clear white,transparent,barely noticeable.
Replacement nose pads used in basic eyeglass repair are available at modest cost and keep your glasses hygienic and comfortable regardless.

These are ideal if, like me, you need to replace your nose pads but are now unable to bring them to a specialist. Do not be concerned if you are unsure of the specific sort of nose pad you require because there are 150 pairs (300 total) of various eyeglass replacement pads in various types (for example screw on or snap on). However, I do have two issues. My initial observation is that these glasses cushions aren't really pleasant. They are a touch tougher than the shattered ones I was replacing and aren't as soft. They are little, which is my second gripe. They could feel uneasy because of this. Even after using the largest pads in the box, they were still only about half as big as my old ones.Overall, if you truly need to fix your glasses, these are a simple, quick remedy. But I'm not mad at them either. They are still excellent and have held up beautifully, and I still recommend them.

Since I've had these for a few weeks, I've chosen to write a review. Let me start by saying that my t zone is oily. Because wire frames were the only ones that stayed up, I believed I was destined to wear wire frames with nose pads. I gambled and purchased a pair of plastic eyeglasses because I wanted a new style, and all the sliding down my nose that I can recall occurred once more. I was looking for a fix because I adore my frames. I looked considering purchasing a strap-like retainer. I put it off repeatedly since I wasn't sure I wanted to deal with the cord and other issues. When I searched on Amazon for eyeglass retainers, I came upon these tiny temple points. Even before now, I had never heard of such a thing. I got this kind and another brand because they weren't very expensive and seemed easier to use than a band (since I don't take my glasses on and off). I didn't think either would succeed. Of the two, only the list product satisfied my needs.Although the ends of my frames kind of flair out, these tips nonetheless went over them and remained in place. They don't feel overly huge or like I have an unusual item in my back. I suppose the only thing I'd point out is that you have to put your glasses on and take them off slightly differently. After taking my earplugs off at the end of the day, my ears occasionally feel a little sore. But when I've had two long days in a row, it tends to happen. Usually, the only thing I notice is that my spectacles haven't slipped down my nose. I also appreciate that it doesn't detract from the overall appearance of your frames (aka cramp your style). Your ears largely shield them from view. I'll be purchasing backups. Camper happy.

32 pairs are a great value for the money. These have been on my glasses for just over a week, and I haven't noticed any signs of slipping or falling off (- and I wear my glasses every day). I'm really pleased with these. I got them in hopes that they would help my current spectacles stop sliding down my nose and sit a little higher on my face, and they certainly do! If I ever need to buy again, I will do so.

The pads themselves are firstly very soft. Compared to the plastic pads that came with my glasses, this is a huge improvement. Naturally, they "stick" much better than the slippery plastic pads do, so perhaps I won't have to shove these glasses back up my nose as frequently as I did before.Although it wasn't precisely simple to install, this is not the product's problem. As you may think, there are very small screws here. However, whilst the screws in my glasses had "flat head" heads, the screws that were provided had "Philips head" heads, which are *much* simpler to work with because the screwdriver doesn't keep falling off the head. Thus, installing the new screws was much easier and quicker than trying to remove the old ones. Of course, the fact that I wasn't wearing my glasses didn't help!I don't have a problem with the pads "flopping around" like some other reviews report. Only a small amount of movement with the pads is possible because of the small enclosure that my glass frames have. Of course, they are soft, so if you force them to slide down your nose, you'll see them distort a little, but putting your glasses on and taking them off "naturally" doesn't seem to pose any problems. Although I've only had these for an hour, I'll update this review to reflect any changes.Overall, a beautiful little item, and the replacement process was as painless as it could be.

These arrived exactly on schedule. I appreciate that you receive a lot of anti-slip grips in one package and that they come in both transparent and black colors. The secret to preventing your glasses from slipping when you look down is to insert side grips into the back of the lenses. If you don't lean your head downward, the nose grips mainly serve to keep the glasses in place. For the adhesives to adhere extremely well, make sure you wipe the surface with an abrasive cleaning like alcohol or Windex. It's really simple to just remove and reapply the grips if you make a mistake. A product and lightning-fast shipping from Amazon!

My Ray-Ban sunglasses' lens fell out when I misplaced a screw. Thankfully, there were no scratches or other damages when the lens landed on the car's passenger seat. I would have to wait a week for the problem to be rectified, and replacing the screw by Ray Ban would cost more than $20. When I saw this kit, I reasoned that I would just lose $5 if it didn't work. It arrived yesterday (2 days with Prime), and it took me about 1.5 minutes to repair the lenses. Even though I may never use the seemingly endless number of extra screws I have, this one fix more than covered the cost of the kit. Thanks!

a ridiculous obsession Three of my about 30 pairs of RX glasses required various minor repairs.Only two required screws, and only one required a nosepad. This kit had everything I required, so even though I only needed to replace one nosepad, I did it, and they now match. Finding screws that were identical to the originals was simple.I discovered screws to 1) reattach a temple piece and 2) reconnect a lens rim for the other two pairs.I have PLENTY of extra screws for future repairs. The provided screwdriver was effective for my repairs, but I am aware that it might not be the case for everyone. If you are worried, it might be advisable to get a flat and phillips set of extremely little screwdrivers online. It certainly beats going to an optical shop, where they could or might not agree to assist you with frames bought elsewhere, for only $7.Definitely suggestable

All is well thus far. These items function. The fact that they are quite large is not a bad thing. I initially tried wearing them with my spectacles as-is, however even when they are positioned as far back as possible, they are still very obvious. They adhere well, but when I tried to move them back on the nose piece to see if they would be less obvious, I found it challenging to pull them off. They actually did detach and then reattach. Be careful not to rip the silicone portion off of the adhesive if you do need to remove them. If it appears that you are, stop and try again from a different angle. They are therefore somewhat large, but they can also be easily cut with regular scissors. This is actually a benefit, in my opinion, since I had enough material left enough to convert one of these enormous nose pads into two smaller ones. So, there it is—my advise. Cut them in half, round the edges, then position them on your glasses as high and far back as you can. With mine, the pads were scarcely discernible after doing this. They have the appearance of narrower variations of the pads you see on wire frames when they do catch the light exactly so. Easy as pie. Oh, and once installed, they perform admirably. The only reason I purchased these was because I ordered a set of ridiculously adorable glasses from Zenni, but the dang things kept sliding down my nose. This stuff absolutely saved the day because I didn't want to send them back. I would repurchase this item, but since there are 18 pairs that are large enough to be cut in half, even if they break after a month, there will still be plenty left over to last until my prescription changes. They function so well that I decided to add them to my other spectacles, which only occasionally slide down my nose slightly. They're a great gain for me all around.
Yes, glasses repair kits come with screws. The screws are usually very small and can be difficult to find on your own, so it's helpful to have a kit that comes with them.
Yes, Walmart offers eyeglass repair services. You can either take your glasses to the store and have them repaired by a staff member, or you can mail your glasses to the Walmart Vision Center to have them repaired by a certified technician.
If your glasses are only slightly bent or the frame is loose, you can try to fix them at home. First, straighten the glasses by gently bending them back into place. If the frames are made of metal, you can use a small screwdriver to tighten any loose screws. If the frames are made of plastic, you can use a toothpick or cotton swab to push the frame back into place. If your glasses are severely bent or the lens is cracked, you will need to take them to a professional to have them repaired or replaced.
There are a few ways to figure out what size your glasses screws are. One way is to look at the screws that are already in your glasses. If they are all the same size, then that is the size that you need. Another way is to measure the screws with a ruler or a caliper. The most accurate way to know the size of your screws, however, is to take your glasses to a glasses store and have them measure the screws for you.
If your glasses are slipping down your nose, they probably just need to be tightened. You can do this yourself with a screwdriver. First, locate the screws on the arms of your glasses. They are usually on the inside near where the arms curve inwards. Then, take a small screwdriver and insert it into the hole in the screw. Turn the screwdriver to the right to tighten the screw. Do this until the glasses feel snug on your face but not too tight. If your glasses are still slipping, you may need to adjust
If your glasses frame bridge is broken, there are a few things you can do to try to fix it. First, try using clear nail polish or super glue to glue the pieces back together. If that doesn't work, you can try using a wire or paperclip to hold the pieces together. If all else fails, you can take your glasses to a local optician or eyeglass store and they should be able to fix them for you.
