My glasses always come with specialized anti-glare coatings, and I've never had much luck getting them really clean. These wipes work amazingly well! I always have facial oil smudges on the bottom of my glasses since I have chubby cheeks and a lot of smiles. No matter how hard I tried, other wipes that were safe for the non-glare coating still left streaks on the lenses. With these Optix55 wipes, all of the smudges are removed quickly, and my lenses stay clear for a longer amount of time. I can now clean my spectacles with only one wipe as opposed to two or three. I have never seen a better-designed product for eyeglass wearers than this set of 6 microfiber wiping cloths and 6 wet lens wipes! Additionally, I had worn glasses since I was 2 years old. It arrived in a reliable packaging. I surprised myself by opening the box to find six of the EXACT same cloths that my eye doctors use to wipe their patients' lenses, each in its own tiny plastic pouch to store in a purse, pocket, or just to keep it clean. There were 200 attractively packaged wet eyeglass wipes underneath. This purchase is AMAZING. Soft, stable, lint-free, and streak-freeOne brief point. For transportation purposes, it was fastened to another package, and when it arrived, the glue was a sticky mess. It worked wonderfully, however it got into the packaging and into each individual cloth package, so I had to rinse and let each cloth air dry because I had assumed the cleaning cloth package was sealed. Not a big concern, but Amazon definitely has to examine the stability of the glues they use for shipping.

Yes, they are a bit wet/moist and do have a fragrance, but they function well, I concur with other assessments.I hope this helps. The person added the following to the email.Keep the individual wipe packet FOLDED when you first open it and use a soft brush to remove any dust or dirt from the target item.After completing this procedure, UNFOLD the wipe and wipe the object until it is smudge-free. By doing so, you may increase the effectiveness of the wipe and ensure that the item being cleaned is completely free of any residue.When you first take the wipe out of the package, if it is overly wet, shake it gently for a few seconds until the moisture level is right. Because it wasn't properly ventilated, if you use the wipe when it's too wet, it's more likely to create smudges and residue.

I cleaned my prescription glasses with these lens wipes. My glasses don't seem to have been damaged in any way by the wipes. My spectacles don't have any streaks or residue after using the wipe. Additionally, neither the surface of my lens nor the protective coating on my glasses have been scratched by the wipe (glare reduction).A single wipe does dry out very quickly once it is removed from its packaging. almost too quickly. However, I manage to clean my glasses before the wipe becomes too dry. These wipes have worked well for me in the past. Given four stars because the dry after being opened dried so soon. Although it may not seem fast in writing, less than two minutes is insufficient when you need to wipe both sides of both lenses. They dry in less than two minutes (possibly faster than that) (I haven't timed it). In contrast to these lens wipes, a wet towelette from the BBQ joint does not remain wet indefinitely.Unless something incredibly bizarre and unexpected happens with this product, I will purchase these again. Excellent value for the money.

Similar items have been utilized by me in the past, but I never had enough of them. I would either receive a few from a spectacles cleaning kit or from my optometrist after a visit. I've always loved them, but I always felt they were outrageously costly because I had to buy something pricey in order to have a few of these. I now possess 400! LOL.I think the fluid in this product is just right. If you use too much, your lenses run the danger of developing spots, while if you use too little, they simply get dry scratched. There are no streaks or stains left after a short clean because these are very slightly damp right out of the packet. Just enough liquid is present to cause rapid drying. But since they do dry up quickly, I'd advise folks to wipe their glasses frequently (you probably ordered hundreds anyway). Spending many of these will be necessary to remove all of the oil and dust from lenses that are extremely unclean.Also, my 400-piece box is significantly bigger than I had anticipated. I anticipated the box to be about the size of my hand and that it would contain a nicely packed stack. similar to the tiny bottles of alcohol wipes sold in supermarkets. It isn't. The box is quite large and obvious. It appears to be more appropriate for an optometrist's office than an office workstation.Unfortunately, during delivery, my box was jostled. The individual wipes are not layered in any way similar to how it appears in the photo. Inside the box, everything is just a huge mess. Not that it really matters. Still, I rate the item five stars.

Here is a review from a customer who paid full price and was not given anything in exchange. I tried these from Zeiss after using a few different brands in the past, and I'll probably buy them again. I was somewhat worried when I first opened one. The "cloth" appears to be rather stiff; I was concerned it could itch. That is definitely NOT the case, I can say having already used many of these. The wipes are all very moist, don't scratch, clean screens on phones and glasses really well, and don't leave any streaks behind.The main reason I took away a star is to warn senior people or anyone else who might not have strong hands or fingers. Compared to other wipes I've bought in the past, the packages are one HECK of a beast to open. Perhaps that was done on purpose because customers of other brands frequently complain that some of the wipes in a box are dry. However, people who could experience issues should either keep scissors close at hand or think about using a different brand.

NOTHING in the headline is overstated! I reside in a home that has at least 3 iPhones, many iPads, numerous tablets, different screens, PCs, etc., as well as an undetermined number of eyeglasses. And I go through BOXES of lens cleaning wipes. For a while, I used Zeiss, which is widely available, then I tried something from Diamond Wipes called Handy Clean. In both cases, I find that the small packets often contain cloths that are already mostly or completely dried out when they are first opened, and they are quite small to begin with. Annoying!Since everyone freely takes wipes from my supply, I am constantly searching for new wipes. Since leaving Zeiss, I need more mass. But not 5000, as I don't want to use up 5000 wipes that are already mostly dried out from the packet! The CareTouch images were well chosen, I got a good idea that their size was larger than the others I have used, (hurray! ), there was a decent count included, and they listed both by description and by image what items the wipes can be used on - that is NOT a small consideration! I do read reviews, but I admit the photos go a long way to helping me decide on a product.Once they were delivered, I discovered that they were fantastic, a really wonderful size, and that not one wipe was even remotely "dry"; in fact, they were all uniformly moist enough to clean both my grandson's tablet and my iPhone with just one wipe! I have used them for a variety of things, including cleaning phones, calculators, both of the other grandkids' Amazon Fire tablets, and the glass on picture frames. And, hey, they swipe them, so I might as well just hand them a handful and tell them to just order their own! Glasses, these wipes are so amazing that I have been sharing them with my son and my buddy.It may seem excessive, but I have used dried wipes for years, little wipes that required me to open three packets to clean the phone (since it has an Otterbox Defender case, the entire device needs cleaning, not just the front, and now just one wipe will accomplish that)! If you have complaints about lens wipes, try these first. I highly doubt you'll need to test any others; if I were clever, I'd always keep a box on hand.
