Fantastic tea cup and saucer. If the storage box had been properly put together, I would have rated it five stars. When the cup and saucer are removed, the loose material covering the foam in the box pulls out. Some of the frayed edges were visible because it wasn't tucked in the sides very neatly. I would have been dissatisfied with the storage box if I had sent this as a gift. Occasionally, our senior and women's groups will have teas that call for "fine" cups and saucers. Everyone complimented the lovely cup and saucer and inquired about my purchase. Until the following afternoon tea, the storage box keeps the cup and saucer secure. The cup and saucer's overall quality has me very happy.

Hamilton Beach (76606ZA) Smooth Touch Electric Automatic Can Opener with Easy Push Down Lever, Opens All Standard-Size and Pop-Top Cans, Black and Chrome Review:

I used to really enjoy the can opener. It opened every can without any issues and had no sharp edges. It is still unable to open ANY cans two months later. Not even after (what I believed to be) a thorough cleaning.I will shortly get in touch with Hamilton Beach for a warranty repair or replacement. We'll have to wait and see.Update: After carefully reading the warranty, I discovered that shipping BOTH ways for repair or replacement is my responsibility. Without a doubt, the shipping costs would exceed the price of the can opener. Not worth it at all. Hamilton Beach wants us to pay for the shipment, I think, so they won't have to replace or fix a broken product.Purchase another Hamilton Beach item? In my opinion, no. And I don't believe anyone else should either. I've since given this statement some thought.UPDATE: After realizing that I had overreacted, I raised my rating from one to four stars. The cutter wheel was jammed by a thin piece of metal that was left over after opening a can. The can opener then ceased to function. I took out the front of the opener by unscrewing the four screws at the back. The circular cutter's screw was then removed. The cutter had some room to travel because of this, but I was unable to take the cutter out. I oiled the area surrounding the cutter (top and bottom), cleaned it, and then put it back together. It now operates. Hamilton Beach ought to have posted something about this issue, right?Their return policy is the reason they only received 4 stars instead of 5.

Hamilton Beach Smooth Touch Electric Automatic Can Opener with Easy Push Down Lever, Use With All Standard-Size and Pop-Top Lids, Stainless Steel Kitchen Scissors, Black and Chrome (76607) Review:

Smooth Touch Can Opener, Black and Chrome, Hamilton Beach 76607 by Hamilton Beach.First of all, the item I received differs slightly from the image on Amazon. The Model 86606Z has a black handle, and the Model 76607 has a black handle with a silver center section, according to the Hamilton Beach website. Although one of the images on the packaging featured a black and silver handle, the Model 76607 with scissors that I received had a black handle. Model 76607 Series B 0461 EG was stamped on the bottom of the opener. The black handled one I got may have been a vintage color scheme. Naturally, none of this has an impact on how the can opener functions, but it does make you worry if you got the right one. This opener's dimensions are 10 3/16"H x 4 5/8"W x 5"D, weight is 3 1/8 pounds, and it has the following electrical specifications: 820238601 Type CA33 120V 60Hz 1.5AThis door opener worked flawlessly. While the opener grips the can and rotates it around to open it, you place the can under the metal ring and then squeeze and hold down the top handle. The can lid continues to spin once the opener returns to its starting position, but the can remains stationary. The can is then released by raising the opener handle. This is a major improvement over the manually driven smooth touch openers that are currently available on the market, which spin the can even after they reach the starting point and leave a jagged piece of metal just past the starting point on the side of the can. The amount of effort needed to turn the handle on identical model manual smooth touch can openers varies considerably as well. The Model 76607 operator guide manual states that excessive rotation may result in a metal sliver on the can's side, but I have never observed this to happen because the can immediately stops rotating as it reaches its starting point. The can opener in this plug-in electric Model 76607 does all the turning and opening for you. This Hamilton Beach Model 76607 Smooth Touch can opener with scissors, one of the few electric small kitchen appliances on the market that truly does a good job doing the task it was supposed to do, receives five Amazon stars and then some. If I experience any persistent issues while using this opener, I'll update this review.sold and shipped by Amazon.com.Single item UPC Code: 0 40094 76607 9; Made in China; imported by Hamilton Beach Brands Canada Inc., Picton, Ontario KOK 2TO; distributed by Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc., Glen Allen, Virginia 23060; 2009 Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc.

Cuisinart CCO-50BKN Deluxe Electric Can Opener, Black Review:

Although not the most robust appearing, it is really simple to use.

Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome Heavyweight Electric Automatic Can Opener with SureCut Patented Technology, Knife Sharpener, Cord Storage, Black (76380Z) Review:

This can opener is the best I've ever used. Seriously. My mother had a lovely automatic can opener that was rather spectacular for its time when I was a child hanging from her kitchen cabinet. She used it for a very long time, and it was fantastic. She gave me a countertop automatic can opener as a gift after I moved out. My mom was trying to help, but using this contraption was a hassle. Bless her heart. If you weren't at the exact perfect angle, it wouldn't grip the can. And even once it had a firm grasp, it was unable to pierce the container. You'd have to exert enough pressure to puncture it, then pray that it will continue to hold. Just opening little cans would take roughly 15 minutes. We only occasionally eat canned goods, so we merely bought inexpensive hand openers after a dozen or so uses.I grew tired of the inexpensive can openers more than a year later. Prior to puncturing a can, one of them was bending. So I did some research on Hamilton Beach. I took the risk because almost everyone gave it excellent reviews and the pricing was reasonable. After just using it once, all I want to do is sit here and open cans. I've never had a more enjoyable can-opening experience. It's surprisingly quiet here. There is only a faint, lovely hum. When you push the lever down on a can opener, you typically feel the puncture. On Hamilton Beach, it felt almost like pushing into a cushion as I pushed the lever. The can turned smoothly on its own without any help or grinding noise, and it stopped right away when it reached the end of the cut.I swear this might be an Apple product because I own an iPhone (pre-steve jobs death). It just seems like a well-made, high-quality product (BUT WITHOUT THE CRAZY PROFIT MARGINS).I never imagined that a can opener could make me so happy. Now that I am aware that using a can opener to open a can won't result in a conflict, I believe I will purchase more canned products.

Electric Can Opener, Restaurant can Opener, Smooth Edge Automatic Electric Can Opener! Chef's Best Choice (Upgraded-electric) Review:

It's a really simple gadget; you just place the can opener on the can's lid and press the button. While opening the can, it will automatically go around the container. When you remove the lid from the can, a tiny magnet in the center of the can opener holds it in place. Very practical and simple to use. Although the batteries are not included, it is still a wonderful purchase.

Kitchen Mama Electric Can Opener: Open Your Cans with A Simple Push of Button - No Sharp Edge, Food-Safe and Battery Operated (Red) Review:

My mother is overjoyed to finally have a can opener that is light, simple to operate, and doesn't have a long list of instructions (or buttons). Due to severe wrist arthritis, it's even simpler for her to use than a typical plugin can opener. Now I might have to get one for myself! The only thing it lacks is a litter pincher or other design feature that may be used to raise the lid. (This sort of opener has a small pincher claw on my manual crank version to remove the lid.)When I used her new opener, the lid WAS easy for me to lift up, but I advised her to use gloves in case any edges were sharp. This is because the opener lifts the entire lid.

Proctor Silex Power Electric Automatic Can Opener with Knife Sharpener, Twist-off Easy-Clean Lever, Cord Storage, Black (75217F) Review:

When did predictability disappear? Don't laugh, but when you allow a can opener go too close to a pan, it transforms into a Picasso. Since I'm a man, society would have you believe that I can't do much more than scratch myself without setting off a three-alarm fire. Despite this, I needed a new can opener because I converted our previous one into a work of modern art. I was quite dissatisfied with the can opener pricing after the nightmare trip to the neighborhood *mart. There were some who, while opening cans, I think, could launch a satellite to Mars, sharpen knives, perform music, and sharpen knives. So, after much internal laughter, I returned home and went on Amazon. Here is the official evaluation. This can opener works nicely to open cans. Let me reiterate that. I got a can opener expressly to open cans, and it works beautifully. It opens cans of all sizes, including some that are incredibly tall. I did not utilize the knife sharpener device because we previously purchased knives that required an annual visit from a sharp-dressed man to sharpen them for you. The best part is that it opens cans and didn't cost me a half-pay. day's It's made pretty solidly, and I have no concerns about anything falling off. Last but not least, this can opener successfully opens cans.
