Fantastic tea cup and saucer. If the storage box had been properly put together, I would have rated it five stars. When the cup and saucer are removed, the loose material covering the foam in the box pulls out. Some of the frayed edges were visible because it wasn't tucked in the sides very neatly. I would have been dissatisfied with the storage box if I had sent this as a gift. Occasionally, our senior and women's groups will have teas that call for "fine" cups and saucers. Everyone complimented the lovely cup and saucer and inquired about my purchase. Until the following afternoon tea, the storage box keeps the cup and saucer secure. The cup and saucer's overall quality has me very happy.

Not even after (what I believed to be) a thorough cleaning.I will shortly get in touch with Hamilton Beach for a warranty repair or replacement. The cutter had some room to travel because of this, but I was unable to take the cutter out. I oiled the area surrounding the cutter (top and bottom), cleaned it, and then put it back together. It now operates. Hamilton Beach ought to have posted something about this issue, right?Their return policy is the reason they only received 4 stars instead of 5.

We only occasionally eat canned goods, so we merely bought inexpensive hand openers after a dozen or so uses.I grew tired of the inexpensive can openers more than a year later. Prior to puncturing a can, one of them was bending.So I did some research on Hamilton Beach. I took the risk because almost everyone gave it excellent reviews and the pricing was reasonable.After just using it once, all I want to do is sit here and open cans. I've never had a more enjoyable can-opening experience. It's surprisingly quiet here. There is only a faint, lovely hum. When you push the lever down on a can opener, you typically feel the puncture. On Hamilton Beach, it felt almost like pushing into a cushion as I pushed the lever. My mother is overjoyed to finally have a can opener that is light, simple to operate, and doesn't have a long list of instructions (or buttons). Due to severe wrist arthritis, it's even simpler for her to use than a typical plugin can opener.Now I might have to get one for myself! The only thing it lacks is a litter pincher or other design feature that may be used to raise the lid. (This sort of opener has a small pincher claw on my manual crank version to remove the lid.)When I used her new opener, the lid WAS easy for me to lift up, but I advised her to use gloves in case any edges were sharp. This is because the opener lifts the entire lid.
