No matter what website I used to get the recipe from or how much I tried to change it, everything I produced ended up in ruins. You name it—burgers, breads, cookies, waffles—it crumbled. Simply miserable Before I discovered this item, the flavor was always excellent but the texture was never. It truly is a life-savor.As a stay-at-home father, I prepare all the meals. I must admit, I was beginning to lose hope. After reading about this substance in a vegan article online, I started looking for it. It was discovered, used, and voilà. Waffles, for the first time since last year, I was able to use my waffle maker (which, by the way, I only acquired a few weeks before cutting out gluten!) and pull out complete waffles. You have no idea how thrilled I am about this.And that's not the end of it.I prepared carrot cake, zucchini bread (shown), strange flan items, and even plain scrambled eggs (also pictured). It's quite tasty. Instead of searching for vegan gluten-free recipes, I just find gluten-free meals and convert them to veganism using this and earth balance. I'm quite sure I could seek up standard recipes and simply swap everything out if I weren't gluten-free. You won't even be able to tell the difference. However, I made the following observations concerning the eggs that anyone purchasing should be aware of.1. Sincerely adhere to the directions to the letter. If you don't, your eggs and recipes won't turn out correctly. Make sure the water is cool before measuring level tablespoons and half cups. To get all the lumps out, you will need to mix for a long, but it will be time well spent.2. Your recipe might turn out a little spongy, almost like flan, if you use a recipe for a baked product that calls for many eggs in a tiny dish. I attempted to create peanut butter blondies that required four eggs but only filled about a third of an 8 by 8 cake pan, and the result was just like peanut flan, I guess. It wasn't awful, though. Even though it was edible, it was not what I was looking for.3. You should probably salt your eggs or omelets with kala namak. It does have an eggy flavor, but in my opinion the kala namak salt really brings out the desired sulfate-y egg flavor. Just saying, you can purchase some on Amazon.4. Be advised, like I said at the beginning of this review. You can have a creative food binge where you spend a lot of time making old pals. You might find that doing this ends up costing you a lot in ingredients for baked goods and is a huge waste of time, but do not worry; you will have plenty of treats to ease your new financial and time-related problems.Which brings me to number five.The smaller item is most likely going to sell out very quickly, therefore you should probably grab the bigger item. I experimented with different baked products and eggs for a week and used up about four of them. I had to wait for Amazon to send more once I ran out. The wait was excruciating. And the larger thing is a lot less expensive. After all, bulk purchases are commonplace.6. When I claim that it tastes precisely the same as dishes that use actual eggs. Now that I've been a vegan for five years, do you really believe I can recall exactly how that food tastes? No, probably not; nevertheless, if you often consume a lot of eggs, this product might or might not be right for you. It comes near because it closely resembles my memory of it. It might be a little bit too spongy. I know my waffles don't always turn out as crisp as I'd like, but that's okay. It tastes great and no animals were hurt, as far as I know. And they don't fall apart either! We have come a long way, and anyone who complains about this product obviously hasn't been a vegan for very long or at all. They are searching for a perfect world where everything tastes just how they want it to without causing any harm. However, this material comes fairly close.Overall.. You should most likely simply give it a try; you won't likely regret it. In fact, it's inspiring me to go on a creative spree. In all seriousness, I'm preparing to use my incredible zucchini bread to make French toast. I'll update with a photo if it's good.My gluten-free vegan zucchini bread, which had just finished baking and emerged from the bread pan as a workable loaf, was photographed and included. that is just wonderful. I started looking for ways to bake without eggs when I learned that my daughter was allergic to them. I tried a number of the different techniques I discovered online (with bananas, applesauce, etc.), but nothing worked out well. Then my in-law cousin made this idea, and it was a wise one. I buy it in large quantities because I use it in everything. I use this so quickly because I bake so frequently. When I realized that I could add this to my Amazon Subscribe and Save, I was overjoyed.But now that I've been baking without eggs for a year, I don't only use this egg replacer. I've discovered that for the BEST results, use this (as directed on the package), with 1 tablespoon of vanilla yogurt (or flavored if you'd like), or sour cream (depending on what you're baking), in place of each egg, along with twice as much baking powder as the recipe calls for. I will simply add 1 teaspoon of baking powder to a recipe if it doesn't ask for it. Additionally, this egg substitute lacks flavor because eggs give flavor. Try adding some ground cinnamon for flavor to foods like pancakes or waffles.



Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Egg Replacer 12 ounce Review:


I looked for alternatives to eggs after having an allergy and wanted to bake. The warm cake made from the ground flaxseed is acceptable, but after a day, it gets gummy. Although applesauce, bananas, yoghurt, and vinegar all effectively add moisture, there was something lacking in the flavour, and making the "egg" requires having a number of ingredients on hand. The next option was Bob's Red Mill egg substitute. For baking, it results in a good final product that holds up well the next day as well. There is some flavour loss in my opinion. When eggs are unavailable, this is a good alternative.

I used this to make whoopie pies. It worked flawlessly. The sole instruction is to combine the powder and water, then wait one minute for the mixture to thicken. I must not have thoroughly dissolved the gelatin since I found some (very small amount) of gelatin-like lumps in the cooked cookies. Other than that, I was quite happy with the texture and taste; I would not have guessed they weren't made with eggs. Ordering again.

Well, this is really cool stuff. Nowadays, it appears that everything has an alternative, and who would have thought that eggs would be one of them? It comes in so helpful when you are baking and are out of eggs. I no longer need to jump in the car and sprint to the store. I can always have eggs as long as I have a bag of this in the refrigerator. I've already used practically a bag of this because I can and it works like a charm. A bag will generally last a long period for its users. Simply because it is convenient, I like to utilize it. I've used this stuff to make a ton of different dishes, and each one tastes just as good as it would if I had used actual eggs. Food's consistency remains constant as well.
