In order to utilize it as a terrarium light or supplemental light for my air plants, I was searching for a compact, inexpensive LED light with a very bright white light that is energy-efficient and doesn't produce much heat (tillandsias). Having previously owned a book light from the "Mighty Bright" brand, which I enjoyed, I saw this one and assumed it would serve my needs.It includes two white LEDs that are bright, and with the click-style button on the light head, you can turn all of them off, just one of them on, or both of them bright. To suit the demands of the user, the gooseneck head can be bent and adjusted. Although I just stood the clip on its flat base like a lamp, the clip can accommodate thicknesses of approximately 1/2 inch to 1 inch, give or take. The light can be powered by the three AAA batteries that are already within, or by an exclusive AC converter that is sold separately under the "Mighty Bright" brand. Because I didn't want to utilize batteries, I did get the exclusive AC adapter in my instance. Although the plastic base and head aren't quite blue in hue, I much love the teal shade. The LEDs produce a bright, continuous white light.So far, so good; the photo shown is of my air plant terrarium using this light at its brightest setting (both LEDs on).

I purchased this because, as a musician, it can be challenging to see my music on stage occasionally if the space is dark or the lights are really low. This is fantastic; all I have to do is clip it to the music stand and leave it on all night. I appreciate that it includes a clip so I can attach it to a music stand, a book, a binder, or something similar. Additionally, the on/off switch is a sliding switch, eliminating the possibility of an accident when I leave this in my music bag (leaving it on and running battery dead). This small light is quite good. It is bright enough to read on my Kindle in bed at night, even on the lower power setting. It adds hardly no weight to my Kindle or even a book because it is fairly light and slender. Additionally, even on the lower brightness setting, the battery life is quite good.There is a range or thickness that the "clip" can accommodate. My Kindle is covered by a folding case. I discovered that this product worked best when I folded open the cover of my Kindle and positioned the clip immediately behind (or above) the Kindle itself, covering both the front and back covers. To close the front cover, I had to detach it every time I shut down my Kindle, but else it functioned fine.It was a little trickier to figure out how to connect it to a hard cover book (I did not attempt a paperback), but I was able to gently adhere it over the back cover and a thickness of unread pages next to the back cover. The device needs at least 1 cm or 5/16 inch of thickness to hold it in place. When I got to the end of the book and had to read the pages, I just moved the light to the front cover and used a few of the previously read pages to add the necessary thickness to keep the light in place. Thus, finding a solution is not a significant challenge.In general, I adore this tiny light. This light is superior to one I previously owned since it illuminates the entire page and has a longer arcing neck so you can direct the light where you want it. I've had it for a few months and use it every night for about an hour. So far, so good, and the battery hasn't needed to be changed.

I've only had them a short while, but I already adore these! In the van, I bought them for my children. They enjoy drawing a lot, and because it is getting darker earlier, this has been a problem. The overhead light was being used by them to see, which makes it difficult for me to see while driving. When I used them the other night, I bought one for each of my children, and they worked great! Just enough light is present for them to read their books, but not so much that I can safely drive. Very flexible and, once set, generally retains its position well. Clips readily to their vehicle seats, though it did take me some time to locate a location for them; nonetheless, I can't fault the light for that problem. The fact that it only needs one AAA battery is my favorite feature. We frequently travel cross-country by car, and it can be challenging to locate one of those round batteries while I'm on the road. When not in use, it is simple to store in the car. Excellent purchase. I don't believe it would be too bright for people to use this at night next to a bed partner, especially if you just position the light slightly away from them. Although I didn't use it in that way, it seems like the perfect quantity to me.

I had been searching for you all my life. Finally, a reading lamp that is dim and has a soothing color. Nothing like this exists. That illustration is entirely accurate. This is what you want if bright lights at night make you uncomfortable. I seriously consider purchasing their reading lamp as well, but it is incredibly pricey. Regarding this product, I appreciate that you can open it up as well. Despite what they claim, the battery should be replaced. Screws are present. There should be leds that live a lot longer than that; at $30, I expect at least 4-5 years out of this. I wish the leds lasted more than 20-30k hours. If something fails over the following few years, I will update the review. When it comes to the light's initial performance and specifications, it makes for an excellent nighttime or driving at night reading light.

This Kindle reading light is awesome. My kindle's skin was damaged by a different reading light I had previously purchased. Given that I paid $20 for the skin, I was not pleased. That is not a problem in this situation!There is a plastic piece that can be used with the light to assist it fit the Kindle 3, despite numerous complaints that it does not. I don't have that issue because I am using it over both my Kindle and the cover I have for it. It's really solid, and I don't have the slightest concern that it may slide or slip.The fact that there are two brightness levels is also a plus. It's ideal for reading in bed before going to sleep or anyplace with low illumination.Another nice feature is the adjustable neck, which enables me to position the light just where I need it based on where I have the Kindle set up.I hope this is helpful to those of you choosing a light. This purchase was not a mistake at all!
