Are all Kindle covers the same?

Do eBooks have covers?

An eBook is a book in digital form that can be read on a computer, eReader, smartphone, or tablet. Just like a physical book, an eBook can have a cover. A cover can help identify the eBook and make it more visually appealing. While an eBook cover is not required, it is a common practice to include one.

Do Kindle covers fit all Kindles?

No, Kindle covers do not fit all Kindles. Each Kindle has a different size and shape, so the covers are not interchangeable. You must choose a cover that specifically fits your Kindle model.

Do Kindles need covers?

While some people might say that Kindles don't need covers because they're already pretty durable on their own, I would argue that it's always better to be safe than sorry. Covers can help protect your Kindle from scratches, dings, and everyday wear and tear. Plus, they can also help keep your screen clean and free from smudges.

Kindle Fabric Cover - Charcoal Black (10th Gen - 2019 release only—will not fit Kindle Paperwhite or Kindle Oasis). Review:

The cover is nice, but it adds bulk, weight, and you're having to fiddle with the flap while reading by only using certain holding positions. When traveling, it's nice to be able to know that that you can put on this cover and your Kindle is going to be protected from everything except severe abuse. I'm glad I bought it, but I'd like a soft grippy case for at home use.

All-new Kindle Paperwhite Water-Safe Fabric Cover (10th Generation-2018), Charcoal Black Review:

I generally purchase Amazon's own covers whenever I buy a new Kindle, and I've always been satisfied with the quality and durability of their cover (well, the sole exception would be the cover they offered when the 2nd generation Oasis was introduced, and they ended up withdrawing that cover from sale, but that's the only one in my experience over 6 or so years and 6 new Kindles that was not fully satisfactory). This time I decided to forgo the more expensive leather cover and try the fabric one, and I expect that it will be fine over time if perhaps less durable than leather. Hopefully I won't regret that since the leather cover is only $10 more, but I'm not that hard on my devices so I expect this will be just fine.It fits perfectly and the cover works to wake up the Paperwhite when you open it, and put it back to sleep when it's closed. It's held shut when closed so it won't flop open if you don't want it to. The hinge of the cover is also firm enough to keep the front of the cover square when it's closed (some inexpensive covers are so flimsy that they flop around too much and don't always fit squarely). The fabric is kind of a jeans texture which you should be able to see in the attached photos. It's a lighter blue than my Levis, looks good, and the inner surface of the front cover is a smoother than the outside - perhaps a microfiber material, which should be good in protecting the screen of the Paperwhite.I'm completely happy with this cover and if I have anything further to add after using it for a longer period of time, I"ll return to this review and update it accordingly.

All-new Kindle Paperwhite Water-Safe Fabric Cover (10th Generation-2018), Canary Yellow Review:

I bought the brand-new Paperwhite after my older Kindle finally died, and I've been happy with it. This cover is one of the aspects of it that I enjoy the most. It is a high-quality product; the case is well-made and functions flawlessly. The materials employed are what really has me interested. The case's outside is heathered so that it hides fingerprints and should be very forgiving of dirt (I bought the gray color). It is pleasant to the touch and enables a very firm grasp on the gadget. Despite the fact that I dislike overt product branding, the Amazon logo in the bottom right corner is subtle enough to not irritate me. The front cover's interior is lined with a plush suede fabric, making it nice to grip when I read with the cover open.In conclusion, there is no doubt that I would buy the exact same case again if I could.

Kindle Paperwhite Leather Cover (10th Generation-2018) Review:

I always love the Leather Covers for the kindle paperwhite. They are really nice, but I do feel like they are overpriced. They should only be half the price they charge you for them. The only reason I pay the price is because I REALLY like the cases. With the new kindle paperwhite I have to say I hated the color choices this time. There was barely any colors to choose from. I wish they would've had a pink or actual purple color. I decided to go with Cobalt Purple and I was VERY DISAPPOINTED when I got the case as the color is actually cobalt blue, not purple. So do be aware if you get purple, you're actually getting blue. It is still a very nice color. I would've either went with the black or this blue.New features to this cover included a magnetic back when you fold the cover and the nice microfiber cloth on the inside to protect your kindle against scratches which is a very nice touch. Overall, I do recommend this cover for your kindle if you don't mind throwing out $40 for it.

Fire 7 Tablet Case (Compatible with 9th Generation, 2019 Release), Charcoal Black Review:

This case's blue colour and texture appeal to me. It is nicely built and provides excellent fire protection. It would be easier to lift the top a little bit when it is sitting on your lap if they changed the design and made the top a tri-fold rather than a triangle. I believe it will last a very long time and it is still a really attractive casing. I would have given it five stars with ease if it had been tri-fold.

Kindle Oasis Water-Safe Fabric Cover, Charcoal Black Review:

I received this cover yesterday and read my Oasis with it on for several hours last night. As exepcted, the wake/sleep function worked perfectly. I was surprised at how lightweight it is: at 111 grams it is actually 8 grams lighter that the first official Amazon case that was discontinued. Unlike that first case it fully covers the back of the Oasis. When open, it folds completely around the back of the reader, making it much easier to hold the Oasis even while lying in bed. My favorite way to hold it while reading is with the Oasis lightly resting in my palm, with my thumb in front near the buttons so I can easily change pages, my index finger between the two covers, and the other three fingers resting on the back cover. It works great whether I'm holding my Oasis in my right hand or left. Those readers who prefer to use the Oasis without a cover will be pleased to know that it can easily be removed from this cover (unlike the Paperwhite and its official cover) (unlike the Paperwhite and its official cover). Personally, I found the metal back of the Oasis cold and difficult to hold while lying down so I've been forced to rely on third-party covers up until now but have ultimately been disappoined in their defects or lack of durability. I only wish Amazon had released this cover last year; it would have saved me quite a bit of money I ended up spending on subpar alternatives!
