I rate the drum pad with five stars. It seems ideal. However, I only give my child who urgently needed it one rating because he used it twice and is still refusing to put it away months later. The roll-up, stowable pads are preferred by the drummers I've worked with in bagpipe bands. That item doesn't important to my child because he never puts his belongings away. Excellent quality and durability. It has been stepped over by him for months; the only defense it has had is a layer of laundry and Magic cards. fantastic stuff Kid - not the best. a Christmas present for my daughter was an electric drum set. She was also given a cheap set of sticks that fit her size (she is 7). But when I tried to play, I couldn't help but giggle at how lightweight they were. Not so much for me, but perfect for her. All through high school, I was in marching band and played snare throughout. So I'm used to a heavier stick with a rounder tip. I had no hesitation getting these because I've never had an issue with Vic Firth in the past. For me, the weight and balance are excellent! lovely and thick If you use these for marching, they can withstand a lot of punishment. They are tone-wise identical and hardly distinguishable from one another. This is one of those situations when investing in quality can really pay off. I wholeheartedly endorse these sticks if you are a beginning marching snare player and are having trouble with open (double stroke) rolls. The additional weight will significantly alter the situation. Keep going!

Pros: These are an affordable option for sticks and offer excellent value. They feel substantial in your hands and are often well-balanced. These are wonderful if you like the feel of maple and don't want to spend a lot of money on a pair of sticks.Cons: They are all a little bit twisted, despite the fact that I am aware that they are likely factory seconds from a prominent manufacturer. Not a significant deal and had no impact on my playing, however it occasionally feels funny. The maple isn't the usual Vic Firth hard maple that I'm used to. This maple has a fairly wide grain and seems to be a touch softer. In a four-hour set, this resulted in multiple broken sticks. Even though I was playing hard and outside, they shouldn't have broken so quickly.Overall: Buy a few pairs at once, but they are worth the money.I'm simply a regular drummer in a regular band, playing regular songs. Although I do tend to hit a little harder than the average player, I like using maple sticks. If I have to choose between using a hickory baseball bat and a little lighter stick that tends to break more frequently, I'll take the lighter stick.

You can't get much better than these sticks for the price.- For the price, the construction quality is excellent. These sticks will obviously burn through quickly, especially if you have poor form; the cymbals will devour them. They'll last you for quite a time if you utilize them properly.- These probably aren't for you if you're hoping for some expensive drumsticks that will last you for months. I still have the Maple pairs I purchased a few months ago, and just one pair's tips are eating through, but that was entirely my fault. I recently ordered a second pair in the form of Hickory to try out along with a practice pad I acquired.Get these if you want to rock hard and you know you'll go through sticks. They are reasonably durable and excellent value. Truth be told, sticks will break no matter what.This is an excellent place to start if you've never played the drums before.
