This drum rug's mobility and zebra pattern both appeal to me. My last rug was an 8' × 10' carpet remnant that was difficult to transport, but I became spoilt because it perfectly fit my equipment. This rug would benefit from being about 12 inches longer and wider.Interestingly, the rug rolls up beautifully with the pattern side out. A great touch is the velcro strap that holds it all together. In comparison to my remnant rug, which was difficult to move around, the rug is also quite thin. When a rainstorm started while a concert was being held outside, the remainder also began to soak up water and became almost hard to carry.The Meinl rug had the same situation last week, and it simply shed the water.Overall, I am happy with this stylish, transportable rug and would suggest it. I bought this to test out as an alternative for the vinyl office mats that people put under their seats to protect lovely timber floors and to use under my drumset. Both instances provide good results. The rubber backing secures it in place on practically any surface while maintaining its extreme portability and light weight. I have beautiful teak parquet floors in my home office. It serves as a good floor protection and helps a little bit to deaden the space. Additionally, it fits the theme (which is crucial) because I have amps, guitars, rack-mounted equipment, and keyboards sitting around. Huge!). I mentioned that it is portable and light. I can fit it into my trap case and take it with me when I need to play a gig because it rolls up and has a great carrying case. What's not to appreciate about something that's gorgeous, strong, and lightweight? There is one thing, though: It features a small strap on the bottom that is meant to be used to keep the roll closed. And when the rug is spread out, that object doesn't lie flat. I tripped over it every day for two weeks until I discovered my scissors since I'm a klutz. Issue is resolved. happy times

The pricing and size are excellent. The term "MUSIC" inscribed on the rug is unnecessary in my opinion. That would be a fantastic advancement deserving of 5 stars. I put a thin, rubber exercise mat underneath this mat to protect a hardwood floor due to the silver teeth under the kick drum and floor tom legs. Not because the rug isn't adequate, but rather because I don't want to discover that the rug couldn't handle those silver fangs. safer to be safe than sorry. It seems sturdy, but it's new so I can't say for sure just yet.

I already owned a rug from another manufacturer, and I had to glue and screw back the sewn-in "curb" that keeps your bass drum from sliding forward. I love this rug. The "curb" on this rug from Kaces is pretty securely attached. I use both rugs since I play double bass drums. My bass drums would fly away from me if I kicked that way; not even their side spurs could keep them in place. Viva la drumming heavy metal!

I set it down with my practice kit on it in my spare bedroom, which has hardwood floors. Exceptionally wonderful rug. high caliber. looks and feels sturdy. Soft. The bottom is rubber, preventing slipping. It ought to be thick enough that I won't have to worry about my bass drum legs' spikes damaging the rug or denting the hardwood. Corners remain square. not at all bunches or scrunches. Anything with bottom-mounted hook-side velcro will stay securely fastened.

It looks amazing and works well on my hardwood floor. The rug looks to stay in position when drumming because of its rubber backing. My only worry was that the bass drum pedal spikes would pierce the rug and my hardwood floor, but that was easily resolved by putting a couple furniture leg pads beneath each spike (between rug and floor). The colors are somewhat deeper than they appear in the photo, but this is not a deal breaker. The rug rolls up easily and fits in the accompanying bag for transport or storage when not in use. I have a Simmons DA200S drum amp/speaker, various cymbal/mic stands, a Roland TD15K electronic drum set with double bass, and lots of room for further gear. I heartily endorse both the vendor and this rug.

The best approach to replicate your setup at a gig, in a nutshell. I achieve 85 to 90% of the same results as my practice room setup using these markers and a nice rug. The remaining adjustments are modest ones that will most surely not have a significant impact on the performance (I experienced a few disasters in my early gigging days!).You can definitely repeat your setup 100% with them if your kit is reasonably simple, but if your kit is REALLY easy, you wouldn't be seeking to get them in the first place.When I buy a second rug so I can gig another kit, I intend to take advantage of the fact that there is enough here for two distinct arrangements.
