There is some debate over whether or not peas are inflammatory, as they contain some omega-3 fatty acids which can have anti-inflammatory effects. However, they also contain phytic acid and lectins, which can promote inflammation. Peas also have a high glycemic index, which can trigger inflammation in those with diabetes or other conditions. Overall, it is best to avoid peas if you are trying to reduce inflammation.
Eating too many peas can be harmful because they contain a lot of sugar. This can lead to weight gain and other health problems.

Anything I can open and consume all at once deserves a 5-star rating. These are some fantastic tastes, albeit I've tried making my own and consumed other brands. As expected, the sea salt is gently salted, letting the authentic chick pea flavor stand out. Although I wasn't anticipating it, the falafel has an intriguing flavor that is neither bland nor spicy. I genuinely love it. The Bombay Spice is a mixture of mild spices, but despite my dislike of anything extremely spicily hot, its flavor does not even somewhat bother me. All three are delicious eaten directly from the bag or as a salad topping (specifically the Asian salad from Costco).

These were completely free of any dirt, dust, or other debris when I washed them. The water was immaculately clear even after they were soaked. I have never before seen peas offered in this manner that are this clean. They were all the same size, so you didn't mix in any new or old ones with the ripe ones. They performed admirably for my baked or simmered foods. The flavor was quite fresh. I am quite pleased with my purchase. Because of the cost, I was concerned that I could regret emphasizing their taste and quality in my recipes, but that is no longer the case. Without a doubt, these are worthwhile. As long as the aforementioned remains the same, I will continue to purchase these from you. I hope that was useful! ray333ray2001@yahoo.com

These split mung beans, unlike most split mung beans, still have the outer shell and cook more quickly than whole mung beans (more nutrition). Although mung beans and rice or grains are a common protein-pair, the lacking amino acid (methionine) can also be found in other foods that go well with mung beans, like in this recipe:Mungs Split aPaceIn a medium saucepan, rinse 1 1/2 cups of split mung beans and cover with 1 "soak for an hour in warm water.Remove water, then add just enough to cover 1/4 ", gently bring to a boil, then simmer until the pasta is al dente (about 10 min.).Add 1 tbsp dried cilantro after stirring in a big, diced sweet onion that has been heated in the microwave for three minutes, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1 tsp each of cumin, garlic powder, and paprika.Next, heat to a simmer while stirring in a 16-ounce jar of Pace Chunky Mild Salsa.Serve the 8 oz. package of shredded Cheddar Jack cheese with 1 tsp. of turmeric extract powder, 1 tsp. of garlic granules, and 1 tbsp. of dried parsley for a gourmet mung-stir meal. For additional sauce, add more water. Conclusion: It seems that these split mung beans are diabetic-friendly!Following a recommended serving of (1/4 cup dry beans) and a fast before night.

Because they don't really screen for heavy metals like lead and cadmium as part of the organic certification, organic food isn't necessarily of the highest quality because it might contain heavy metals and other contaminants depending on where it was grown or the country where it was produced. Because the split peas originate from Canada, it is important to be mindful about where you purchase this product.

I like how this product line has 140mg of salt per serving. Due to the fact that low sodium products on Amazon sometimes have inflated prices, the price is also acceptable. I'm testing every product in this range, and so far, I'm satisfied with the quality and the delivery packaging. Never received a dented can before. Although I am not a huge proponent of organic food, this range of vegetables has that as a benefit.

Dried peas are a type of legume that can be eaten raw. They are a source of protein, fiber, and vitamins and minerals. Peas can be found dried in the bulk section of most grocery stores. To eat them, simply soak the peas in water for a few hours or overnight, then drain and rinse them. Eat the peas as is, or add them to salads, soups, or other dishes.
Dried green peas are a healthy, affordable, and versatile ingredient, but they do need to be soaked before cooking. Soaking helps to rehydrate the peas and soften them so they cook more evenly. Simply add the peas to a bowl or pot of water, cover, and let them soak for at least four hours, or overnight. Once soaked, drain the peas and cook them according to your recipe.
Dried peas are a common cause of gas. When they are digested, they release a gas that can cause bloating and discomfort.
Yes, dried green peas have protein. One cup of dried green peas has about 25 grams of protein.
To cook dried green peas, start by soaking them in water for at least 8 hours. Then, drain the peas and add them to a pot of boiling water. Cook the peas for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until they are soft. Once they are done cooking, drain the peas and add them to your dish.
Dried peas are a healthy and affordable option for a quick and easy meal. They can be cooked without soaking, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First, add enough water to cover the peas and bring them to a boil. Then, reduce the heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes. Be sure to check the peas periodically to make sure they are cooked through.
