Lundberg Family Farms Organic Sushi Rice, California White, 32 Ounce Review:

I adore pizza, and so does my daughter. I'm constantly looking for interesting things to cook because we only eat vegetarian food. We didn't enjoy the cauliflower pizza crust very much, and the flour crust was becoming monotonous. Although not particularly adaptable, the tater tot crust was good. I can't remember where I saw the sushi rice crust recipe.cooked short grain rice, two cups0.5 c. of your preferred cheese1 eggs (Any seasonings, green onions, etc) (Any seasonings, green onions, etc.)An egg white and vegan cheese are used. This was placed inside my 10-inch cast-iron fry pan. I've also made a thinner crust using my 12" pizza pan. To firm it up, I baked it for 3–4 minutes at 400 degrees. It was then cooked up with some vegan mushroom meatballs and mushroom gravy on top. Create your own renditions. With this crust, everything that pairs with rice will taste fantastic!Utilizing short grain rice is key since it holds together better. Nowhere near me. (Thank you, Amazon.) This rice is flavorful and soft. Sincerely, I prefer it to long grain. If you must, make sushi, but don't overlook how delicious this is as a pizza crust!

Santo Tomas Bomba Rice, 2.2 Pound Review:

The rice was delivered in the sack you see, along with a thin plastic bag. No directions were included in the container for cooking the rice, but from what I could gather online, the water to rice ratio was roughly 3.5 to 1. I had heard in a few different places that genuine Bomba rice could absorb a 4:1 ratio, but I was a little dubious.I prepared mixed paella in the traditional Valencian style. It was raining outside and very humid, so my goal was to use two cups of rice and six cups of seasoned chicken broth in a 3:1 ratio. However, I lost approximately a quarter cup to spillage because my huge frying pan proved to be just a little bit too tiny for all the liquid. I cooked my paella till I could add more liquid, but I only ended up adding approximately 5.25 cups (after subtracting the amount that spilled, which was 5 cups). I took a spoonful of the flawless rice from the top of the pan, so... I'm glad I skipped the remaining three-quarters cup of broth because it would have been excessive. As it turned out, the rice was a little too wet, so the next time I'll simply use a tablespoon or two over 5 cups of liquid.Of course, as is common knowledge, elements such as height, humidity, and others can affect how the rice turns out. Therefore, you must evaluate your own circumstances. It rained today, so who knows how cooking this rice will be in the hot, dry summer of my southern California when the moisture evaporates more quickly. In August, I'm certain I'll use all six cups, if not more.I adore this product, especially in terms of taste and texture. I just used it for the first time, and I'm really impressed. I prepare a ton of rice. We simply adore rice, and I have come up with a variety of methods to prepare it. It wasn't sticky or gluey, and the texture was fantastic. The flavor, I must admit, depends on what you put into it, but it absorbed everything I gave it and was fantastic. I'm unable to compare it to other paella rices at this time, so doing so would be like comparing apples with walnuts. However, I recently got a cheaper 4 pack of rice from the same region, and I can only hope it's just as wonderful. I hope this is helpful.

Lundberg Family Farms Organic Basmati Rice, California Brown, 32 Ounce Review:

Observations from Mrs. LBecause our neighborhood grocery store did not stock this rice, we got it through Prime Pantry. This rice has a delicious flavor. My husband has struggled to stop eating white rice. I therefore sent him a selection of brown rices to try, and he really liked the Lundberg Brown Basmati Rice. In fact, we consumed it once at lunch and with dinner on 4 of the 7 nights of the previous week. It tastes and smells pleasant and earthy. a little bit nutty and sweet. It has a little bit of chew to it, which is a good change from the white ride's soft feel. A really good product to use to spice up and diversify your meals. With a little additional water, a spoonful of low sodium chicken bouillon powder, and a tablespoon of olive oil, we like to cook the rice. Rice becomes creamier as a result of the additional water and oil. We garnished it with sliced grilled herbed chicken breast, steaming green beans, carrots, and cauliflower. The meal's other components are not overpowered by the rice's pleasant, nutty flavor. It was absolutely excellent and we also served it with an asparagus and tomato frittata.Last but not least, for individuals following a low sodium diet who miss the flavor of food without salt. Lundberg Brown Basmati Rice's flavor, texture, and ease of preparation give it a sweet, nutty flavor that greatly enhances the dining experience. I keep it in the refrigerator and cook the full bag once a week. I simply reheat it as a side dish or include it in the meal I'm preparing when it's time to eat. Additionally, freezing already cooked portions is simple. This rice was a favorite of "Mr. I'm Only Going to Eat White Rice."

Tasty Bite Rice Basmati, 8.80 oz Review:

I'm from coastal South Carolina, where rice has played a significant cultural role for many years. As a Boomer, I grew up eating rice almost exclusively with dinner and supper. Many folks even ate it for morning, though my family considered that to be a character fault because grits are what you SHOULD eat for breakfast.Pre-cooked rice has finally advanced to the point where it is more than just acceptable. I have always made rice from scratch and avoided any kind of "fast" rice since it was disgusting. Although I have to admit that I have started eating it with many of the types of microwaved, pouched Indian food available on Amazon, some of that is actually so spicy that serving it over an oven mitt instead of rice would not make much of a difference. I use this brand a lot with many traditional American foods and enjoy it.

Daawat Ultima Extra Long Grain Basmati Rice, 2-Years Aged, 10lbs Review:

In terms of flavor, texture, and smell, this is possibly the greatest rice I've ever eaten in my entire life of eating. The flavor of the rice is quite great, and the grains are long and thin. It was prepared in the same way as regular rice: 1 cup rice was boiled in 2 cups of water with a little salt and butter added. then covered it and reduced the heat to a simmer after bringing it back to a boil. We simmered it for 15 minutes, then turned off the heat and let it sit for an additional 5 minutes. No clumping, excellent flavor—it was flawless. Because I'm accustomed to using it and am able to predict the results accurately, I would probably use my regular Texmati rice for pilaf, soups, stews, and other preparations and offer this Ultima Basmati as a stand-alone, plain side dish with fish or meat or whatever. I'm overjoyed to be able to purchase this through Amazon as well; it arrived at my door the following day. I would never have been able to find rice like this in the past, but voilà! I'm able to eat rice from all around the world. I found this new rice to be a whole new gastronomic experience for me, and I heartily suggest it simply simple with some butter, as is.

365 Everyday Value, Indian Basmati White Rice, 32 oz Review:

I believe 365 is a different Whole Foods supermarket. If you consume rice often, as the majority of people do, why not buy the best? (I refuse to buy there.)The extraordinarily long grains, dried state, and light tan color of this rice should alert you to the minor fermentation present in it. (That is beneficial) 1 C water to 1/2 C rice once cooked (using the absorption method), bring to a boil, stir, then switch to #2 on your burner for 12 minutes. With a fork, you can separate the grains of hot, steamy rice, which is a wonderful foundation for a variety of cuisines. No sticky, gummy rice like that seen in most budget supermarkets. a must have.

Nozomi Super Premium Short Grain Rice, 15-Pound Review:

The first delivery was returned since the bag was torn. I couldn't eat it, so my initial evaluation was merely a reflection of the delivery. However, mistakes do happen in business from time to time, but Amazon swiftly issued a replacement. The rice is really clean and has tiny grains. The rice has a delightfully delicate, somewhat nutty flavor that is to die for. Perfect as a side dish for any dinner or as sushi rice. I appreciate Amazon making it right.

Royal White Basmati Rice, 20 Pound (Pack of 1) Review:

I enjoy rice and consider myself a rice expert. This rice is my favorite, or at least the one that is most readily accessible. A 20lb bag of this rice is now selling for roughly 20% less on Amazon than it does at my large local oriental food market (fifteen dollars today for the big 20# bag, but this will undoubtedly change). The majority of Asian food items are far less expensive in-store than they are on Amazon. Don't be hesitant to purchase a large bag; this rice keeps nicely. Without any quality deterioration, 20 pounds can be kept for a year or two in a cold, dry environment. Typically, basmati rice is matured.Contrary to Jasmine and many other types, especially short-grain rices, basmati rice is not "sticky." This rice can be prepared in a variety of traditional ways. Some call for washing and soaking. But cooking it simply by adding 2 cups of rice to 4 cups of water is quick (and great). If desired, season with salt. Gently bring to a boil while still uncovered, cover, and immediately reduce heat to low. Simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent adhering to the pan bottom. Simply taste it to determine when it is finished to your taste. Even if you cook it on low heat for a little bit too long, it always turns out great. I've never understood why a rice cooker is necessary because this is so simple to make!Use a tiny amount of short-grain rice, like Botan, in place of the regular rice if you do want the rice to be a little bit "stickier," as you may when serving it with Chinese foods. When making rice to go with Chinese foods that are eaten with chopsticks, I use one and three-quarter cups Basmati and one-quarter cup Botan (adding four cups of water). (Using chopsticks to eat pure Basmati rice is challenging!)

Royal Basmati Rice 20 Pounds Review:

The product is nutritious and just as you would expect. I've given three of the bags to people I care about. It is Basmati and it is brown. I'm not so sure about royalty, but the product is delicious and healthful. Look at this food's Low Glycemic Index—only rice is lower!Dr. E
