PRO ART PRO-3021 Chalk Charcoal, 12 Stick Per Package Review:

These were purchased to replace the monthly calendar I had in our hallway. I used to use chalk markers, so I'm really delighted that someone suggested them to me. One difference is that I have a lot more colour selections and the colours are much more bright! When I need to remove it, I find that the chalk is much easy to wipe off than I expected. I'll definitely repurchase these chalk pastels.

Speedball 1004 Coates Assorted Artist Willow Charcoal (30 Sticks), Black Review:

These were purchased for my first art class, and I used them all semester long while still having plenty of charcoal sticks. My first work in this media was selected for our school's art exhibition. I chose to paint a portrait of the late great Tupac since I was just exploring today. The sticks are very simple to use, and the box's assortment of sizes makes it possible to work effectively on various portions of the picture. Be gentle when handling them because they are incredibly fragile and may break if you apply too much pressure. Other than that, I adore these and will order from this company again. The majority of my classmates had the Generals brand, but I got this one. When my professor saw the box it was packaged in, she commented that there was a lot of charcoal inside.

General Pencil 957ABP Compressed Charcoal Sticks 4/Pkg-Black - Soft Assorted Review:

Works perfectly and is the same brand that Dick Blick sells (where universities get their supplies).Conte crayon was used to draw the eyes. Black and white compressed charcoal makes up the remainder.I used chalk and a white conte crayon for the white in college. I have never used white compressed charcoal before. I believe that the white Conte crayon, which is more vivid, is better (use less).

U.S. Art Supply 20 Piece Professional Hi-Quality Artist Sketch Set in Hard Storage Case - Sketch & Charcoal Pencils, Pastel, Stumps, Eraser, Sharpeners Review:

These were sent safely wrapped and undamaged. It's not particularly sturdy or fancy, but for the price it's ideal. The quality appears to be excellent, and it's wonderful that it comes in a reusable case. Since these are a gift for an artsy 10-year-old, I haven't tried them yet. I think she'll love the variety, which is excellent for someone just starting out in drawing. If they turn out to be a waste of time, I will update my evaluation. But so far, so good!

Generals Charcoal Drawing Set, White/Black, Set of 4 Pencils and 1 Eraser - 321742 Review:

My top choice for charcoal pencils, by far. For my portraits, I utilize a variety of charcoal brands, although I frequently turn to my Generals soft charcoal pencils. These pencils are incredibly pigmented, therefore shading with a stump or even just your finger is simple when using them. The white charcoal pencil is also a must-have for me when I'm drawing portraits! Although I'm not a huge fan of kneaded erasers, this one is really nice quality and a lot of fun to use. The only charcoal pencil brand that I consistently repurchase. If you're wondering how to sharpen these or any other charcoal pencils, I always suggest using a razor blade because you can manage how much you want to remove and you can customize the point's form and sharpness. Just be careful! Always take caution when using blades, or ask an adult for assistance.

Nitram Academie Charcoal B Soft 5 Sticks Review:

They are of excellent quality. But several of them broke during delivery because they were of a soft quality. When I reported this, they immediately sent me a replacement set. The first one was mine to keep as well. These charcoals are the greatest. extremely soft; very few grains. My atelier teachers when I attended the workshop there highly recommended it. It generates stunning deep color.

General Pencil Compressed Charcoal Sticks 4/Pkg-White - Soft Assorted (GP958-BP) Review:

arrived swiftly and without a hitch. It's a great charcoal and glides across paper more easily than, say, normal crayola chalk.

Artist Sketch White Pencil 12 PCS (White Charcoal Pencil) Review:

The stuff is really great! I enjoy how heavy the pencils are; even though they are heavier than conventional pencils, holding them in the hand feels great. I appreciate how the color can be made lighter and denser, making it simple to regulate the depth. but they DON'T STICK! a lot! hence, apply the setting spray!
