I had read the reviews prior to purchasing this camera for use in my apartment. My primary purpose is to check in on my kids while away at work. I’m so happy with all the aspects of the camera and it was completely within my budget! No problem with my WiFi connection or the installation and step by step app walks you through. You dont need to do anything once it’s connected, and picture quality is very clear.

Wireless Camera, 1080P HD WiFi Pet Camera Baby Monitor, Pan/Tilt/Zoom IP Camera for Elder/Nanny Security Cam Night Vision Motion Detection 2-Way Audio Cloud Service Available Webcam White Review:

Been using it for a couple days and I really enjoy it. I was impressed by the video quality and the ease of moving the camera around wirelessly. Set up seemed easy and the camera itself is very stable. I haven't added an SD card yet but I will soon to test out the recording capabilities (will update!). The camera has a really wide viewing angle and can easily be moved from the app on my phone. Its good to check in on my dog :-) It also has a speaker and microphone which is nice so I can talk to my dog through it and also hear any noise in the apartment from the app. Its really nice! Im a big fan :-)

Baby Monitor, Lefun Wireless IP Security Camera WiFi Surveillance Pet Camera with Cloud Storage Two Way Audio Remote Viewing Pan Tilt Zoom Night Vision Motion Detect for Indoor Home Shop Office Review:

Best baby monitor for the price! Ok maybe a slight exaggeration as I've only bought this Wi-Fi baby monitor. The other good reviews and the price lured me in. My husband and I have purchased two other monitors in the past year for my son's room (a lot more expensive, mind you). Neither are wifi monitors that connect to your phone. They're more the " traditional" camera and monitor setup. Anyway, we bought this one because we live on acreage and when we get too far from our house we'd lose signal on our other monitor. I installed it yesterday afternoon (and by install, I just mean put it on a shelf, my husband will be the one to mount it on the wall). But the picture was so clear! The night vision was AMAZING. It blew our other monitor out of the water. I do have to say (and maybe it's due to placement at the moment), it did pick up the white noise machine a lot more. But I loved that you could zoom (and the picture would stay clear) and pan/tilt. For reference on the zoomed in pictures, my son's room is large and he was juuuust low enough in the crib. But had he been on the other side, or if we moved the camera to where his other one is, I'm sure I'd have been able to see him breathe! Could've used this when he was a newborn. I'm sure there are far better ones that cost more money but I was thoroughly surprised and happy with how great this one was for the price! I'm hoping to add more as I continue to use it and it replaces our other monitor.

Security Camera 1080P WiFi Dog Pet Camera - KAMTRON Wireless Indoor Pan/Tilt/Zoom Home Camera Baby Monitor IP Camera with Motion Detection Two-Way Audio, Night Vision - Cloud Storage Review:

OK I've had my Dericam cameras for over a month and the Kamtron for over two weeks and I've done many hours of research on indoor and outdoor cameras because I wanted to get one brand of camera for both but it didn't work out that way so here's what I found out will save you many hours of time

Quite simply put the Kamtron is a better camera then the dericam p2 but not by much but enough for the indoor cameras.

For an outdoor camera the Dericam s1 is the best so I suggest you get the Dericam S1 for outdoors and the Kamtron for indoors

You have to get used to different apps but that's OK it doesn't take long and it's well worth it and I'll explain why

Both cameras a fantastic 1080 video and fantastic night vision and range so Kamtron and dericam p2 even there

As far as connection i use a range extender and I've had no connection problems but the Dericam seems to have a slightly better range and an antenna and the Kamtron uses an internal antenna, but both seem to have very long range So if you are having connection problems get a range extender if using wireless cameras especially outdoors you can get them on Amazon for $120 for a great one, a good one cheaper, your call.

The Dericam p2 app is a bit easier to use but not much And the Kamtron uses a common mipc app that many cameras use.

Both cameras have to settle in for a day or two and you might have to reset the cameras once or twice but once settled they both work fantastic

On the Dericam P2 you have to turn off the daylight savings time or it will mess up your videos where the Kamtron just set the time The way you want it it's a little more complicated but better

I bought a 32 GB microSD card for both and that's plenty big enough but both cameras will take up to 128 GB card

Two areas where the Kamtron outdoes the Dericam, p1 is on the Dericam when I take photos using my iPhone or iPad the photos sometime show up sideways where with the kamtron that does not happen . Well that is taking photos using your iPad home button and switch at the upper part of the device that this happens . It does not happen using the app photo button at the bottom of your screen . The Kamtron no matter how you take the photos they come out correct and are you lift your device the screen follows were on the Dericam p2 you sometimes must exit the app and reenter to get the picture adjusted to how you're holding the device , this is just using iPad Pro and an iPhone 7 the newest devices I have not installed on a computer yet nor will i because I just don't need to do that . But the Dericam is $14 cheaper so depends what you're using the device for .

The other area the Kamtron excels over the Dericam is motion sensing . Both cameras will give you some false alarms namely when day turns into night, it only happens a few times and not a big deal for either one, but where to Dericam and has only low medium and high sensitivity, the Kamtron as a day sensor and night sensor and it goes from 0 to 100 so I like that better. as far as the night sensor I can't put it below 80 or won't go off no matter how much I dance in front of the camera and the day sensor I have it on 70 and it works fine there . The Dericam is easiest to deal with but the kamtron is worth the. Little extra effort in my opinion.

The Kamtron Will put a picture on your iPhone or iPad when the motion sensor goes off. Along with the video on the Dericam just get video unless I'm missing a setting so I like getting a picture just in case somebody takes the camera and the carD in a robbery.

The Kamtron has a better instruction manual but their customer service takes a lot longer to get back to you through email and Dericam will get back to you much faster but both work to help you fix any problems you have . This depends on what time of day or night of course but Dericams customer service is much faster

The Kamtron sd card slot is clearly marked putting the SD card with the pins up where the dericams is not clearly marked but goes in with the pins down. It won't fit any other way.

Please bear in mind these are my first three cameras I've ever had and a lot of this problems was my fault not the cameras but my inexperience .

Both cameras if you run into a problem playing the Videos or the camera picture is blank just reset the camera and the app do not reboot it or you will half to hook up the ethernet cable and start from the beginning so just reset the camera And that fixes any problems from my experience

All my cameras had to be reset at least once after changing and getting the settings to where I want so no advantage here for either camera . It only takes a minute and doesn't change anything so no biggie .

Also the sound on the Kamtron is clearly better than on the Dericam .

So my Dericam S1 outdoor cam is my favorite for an outdoor camera and this Kamtron is my favorite for an indoor camera but if you decide you do not want 2 different apps and two different brands of cameras it would have to be the dericam because Kamtron outdoor camera is a 720 bullet camera where my Dericam is a dome 1080 P and much better camera and looks much sexier it the Kamtron bullet cam is half the price, so your call.

Trust me get the Dericam S1 for outdoors and the Kamtron for indoors and get used to both apps and both set ups of the cameras it's not that hard and you will be happy you did it

If Kamtron comes out with a dome 1080p outdoor that's as good as their indoor ones they would be tops, but since they don't I suggested the Best cameras in my experience and my hours of research have showed

Now remember these cameras may not deter a robbery like the thousand dollar cameras you can get from a security firm. I bought these cameras for peace of mind when I'm not home to look in on my property and home, and if I ever get robbed hopefully the pictures and video I take for my iPhone will suffice to catch the criminals .

Hopefully I will never have to find out but I do not want to pay a monthly subscription fee for I do not live in a big robbery neighborhood I just want peace of mind and I have it so ty dericam and Kamtron both fantastic product for the price

And I do not want to use the cloud only a microSD card so these are my two choices and you can't go wrong with either one. But the Kamtron hands down a clear winner

My last update no need to anymore Kamtron is a clear winner by a mile . I put my Dericam p2 in my three car garage because I wanted a camera in my garage and my garage doors would not open unless you got right in front of the doors so that dericam has interfered with my garage door signals, so I took my kamtron out of my living area and put it in my garage and it did not interfere with my signals and work perfectly in my garage so I ordered another Kamtron for my garage now, my dericam stays in the basement, kamtron goes everywhere else except for the outdoors I'm still using Dericam outdoors thank you and good luck

Just one more folks, the Kamtron did not affect my garage door openers as the dericam did, but the Kamtron did affect my keypad on my garage, the keypad will only open one door now. So be wary of putting a camera in your garage because it probably will hurt your signals somewhere ty

Nooie Baby Monitor, WiFi Camera, Pet Camera 1080P, 360-degree Wireless IP Camera, Home Security Camera, Motion Tracking, Super IR Night Vision, Two-Way Audio, Motion & Sound Detection Review:

I have the Nooie 1080P indoor camera and I've been quite happy with it so I had to give this 360-degree model a try. It takes the features of the static camera and adds the ability to pan and tilt the camera either manually or you can enable motion tracking easily through the app. I wrote a review for the static camera and many of the features carry over including its great video quality so if you've read that review, some of this will seem familiar.

Setup -
Setup was very simple using your phone or tablet, running the free Nooie Cam app. You first need to verify that your phone is connected to the 2.4Ghz access point in your home where you will be using the camera. You then simply start the Nooie Cam app and select the +Camera button. You select the Nooie Cam 360 option and it will walk you through the remaining, simple steps. Basically, you assure the camera is on, enter the password for the wireless access point/router your phone is currently connected to (this is the same one you will be connecting the camera to), click Next, and a QR code appears on the screen of your phone. You now hold the screen of your phone in front of the Nooie camera's lens and it provides an audible tone and LED light indicator when it is finished reading the QR code. The app will now inform you that it is pairing and will begin a countdown. When complete, the app will inform you that pairing has completed. It's that simple.

Use -
Now that the camera has been added, you simply select it to view the camera. To hear audio from the camera, you select the speaker icon within the app and now you are able to see and hear what's going on around the camera. The camera also has a built-in speaker that allows you to press the microphone button within the app and then speak through it. This is very useful and/or just fun depending on where you locate the camera. For example, I have the camera in my living room where my cat typically spends a good part of her day. If you have cats, I'm guessing yours is similar where she doesn't have one place that she always lays within a room. She instead has multiple locations that she'll randomly select. With this 360 degree camera, either from home, from work, a restaurant, wherever I have WiFi or cellular access I can pan the camera from left to right and up or down. It's range is great where you can literally place the camera in the center of the room and, from the app, turn it from it's left side behind it all the way around front, through to the right side behind it just by swiping across the screen with the camera's image live the whole time. You can pan it around to see the entire room. Beyond this, you have the ability to tilt the camera up and down from the app as well by swiping up and down on the camera's image live. I can scan the room for my cat, locate her, and then touch the microphone to talk to her. Being a cat, she chooses whether she wants to respond or not. Sometimes her ears just perk up and she whines (which you can hear through the camera's built-in microphone), but other times she'll choose to walk over to the camera and give it some love. :)

If you choose to use the Motion Tracking feature, if your cat, or anything really, moves in front of the camera's lens, the camera will follow it. As the moving option moves close to the edge of the camera's current visibility, the camera will move to center the moving object within it's vew and continue doing this until the moving object either stops moving or moves behind something where the camera can no longer see it. One thing to note with automatic Motion Tracking is the camera can pan 360 degrees. If something moves and the camera ends up pointing in a different direction than the next moving object. The next moving option must move in front of the lens at some point for the camera to see it and start tracking it. Depending on where you mount the camera and your use, this may be fine or it may not. So, definitely think about this before placing the camera if you plan to enable Motion Tracking.

Video and audio can be recorded to either a microSD card or to the cloud. Cloud storage is a paid service. Given my usage, microSD recording is fine for me so I haven't tried the cloud storage option. MicroSD recordings are easily accessed through the app via a scrollable tape across the bottom of the screen. You select the day and then scroll through to the time you would like to view. If at any time you are viewing live video or recorded video from the app and you would like to save the video to your device, you simply press the camera icon on screen to set the start point, continue watching the video as it plays, and press the icon again when you'd like to stop and the video will be saved to your device. It's VERY easy!

Like other security cameras, you can also setup notifications based on sound and/or motion. This too is easy to configure by selecting None, Low, Medium, or High for each option and then selecting the timeframe that you would like to receive notifications. Note that you can enable disable notifications by day, but each day only has one start time and one end time that can be selected. Meaning, you cannot setup notifications from 8am-5pm and then again 10pm to midnight for the same day. You could do one or the other, but not both. I don't see this as a problem for me, but it's worth noting depending on your use case.

There are a few additional notable settings. First is the ability to enable/disable audio recording. I haven't done much testing with this, but I'd imagine this could save some space on your microSD card, allowing you to possibly record more video if disabled. Second is the ability to enable/disable the small LED light on the camera. If you placed the camera in a visible location in your home, you may want to disable the LED to avoid the distraction of it. Last, there is a Rotate Image option. So, if you need to mount the camera under an overhang, cabinet, etc., you can simple tap this button to flip the image for mounting the camera upside down and now viewing it live or recorded video will display right-side up.

Customer Service -
I reached out to Nooie's customer service prior to purchasing my previous camera as I had a number of questions. I received quick, thorough responses the same day, shortly after I had sent them. I worked with Julia who was great to work with. Very friendly, personable, and understanding. Julia's customer service was great and made the decision to purchase this camera a complete no-brainer. As I'm sure many of you know, when you have questions or something goes wrong you really find out what a company is made of. I'm happy to say Nooie's support is great! Regarding this camera, I had a few questions for Nooie support prior to purchasing it and received the same great, prompt responses. This proved even moreso that their support is great! It wasn't just a one time fluke with the first camera.

Summary -
This camera works great and has clear video. The two-way communication capability is an added bonus and could open up its use to more than just a security camera. It's ability to automatically track motion as well as it's ability to turn 360 degrees while automatically tracking motion and/or by manually swiping the screen coupled with it's low price point of under $40 makes this a great buy in my book! I am definitely glad that I added this camera to my home. It will work well keeping track of not only the cat, but I can see when my teenager comes and goes when I'm not home.

Wireless Security Camera, IP Camera 1080P HD Wansview, WiFi Home Indoor Camera for Baby/Pet/Nanny, Motion Detection, 2 Way Audio Night Vision, Compatible with Alexa, with TF Card Slot and Cloud Review:

UPDATE: in light of their excellent customer service and dedication to make it right I have changed my rating from 3 stars to 4
I uploaded a screenshot of the new app and the old app for comparison as well as a screen recording of me using the app. You can see the video delay between the controls moving and the video showing me moving. It also shows that the controls glitch frequently.

This camera is very compact and good quality especially for the price. Set up is quick and painless. The video shows a very clear picture when there is no movement. Audio is clear and the night vision setting works fantastically. Motion detection works well and the notifications are prompt. Wainsview customer service and support is quick and extremely helpful.
However, the app required to utilize the camera needs a lot of work! The motion section sensitivity control does not actually adjust, it seems to always be at high sensitivity. There is a noticeable lag for movement on screen and also for panning the camera. Switching between FHD and SD does not seem to improve this issue. The panning control is very cool looking and set up in a much more user friendly manner than the previous app but it glitches often. I also wish that the new app supported older cameras because having two apps is much more difficult especially with the huge differences between them. I personally rarely audio detection but if one wanted to use this as a baby monitor or to monitor a dog barking, not having the audio detection alerts is a significant detraction. I have not tried the Alexa connection as we have a google home. Hopefully it will soon be compatible with google as well!

Pros:
- very clear still images
- motion detection very accurate and prompt notifications
- easy quick set up
- new panning controls and app layout very aesthetically pleasing
- audio quality is clear
- Infrared/ night vision perfect!
- Ability to store positions to pan the camera to

Cons:
- lags about 1 second behind on all motion in the video
- app motion sensitivity adjustment does not work, always high sensitivity
- no audio detection notifications
- panning in app is very delayed and sometimes it moves in the wrong direction
- cannot adjust video quality like in previous models
- new app cannot support older model cameras (requires two apps)

Overall, if the app is improved this will be a great camera at an even greater price!

Wyze Cam Pan 1080p Pan/Tilt/Zoom Wi-Fi Indoor Smart Home Camera with Night Vision, 2-Way Audio, Person Detection, Works with Alexa & the Google Assistant Review:

This little camera is VERY impressive. I currently own a Nest IQ indoor camera and have owned a couple Foscam indoor cameras in the past. This Wyze camera produces excellent picture quality and has a very easy to use app. The fact that you get 14 days of clips storage for free just blows the Nest cam out of the water.

This camera does so much that the 10x more expensive Nest Cam IQ at a fraction of the price.

So how does this stack up against the much more expensive Nest Cam IQ indoor camera?

* You don't get continuous recording stored online, you only get clips stored online. However, you can pop a $10 32GB microSD card into this Wyze camera and get continuous local recording (meaning it's being recorded on the card in the device). You can view your recordings in the app. At HD quality, you get a couple days storage on a 32GB card, more if you go SD quality.

*You don't get the ability to turn the camera on/off based on whether or not you are home. Personally, I really like this feature so it isn't recording us when we're home. Just feels weird. Wyze support says they may add this via IFTTT in the future. You can control whether or not motion recording is on when you are home using IFTTT. However, I"ve found it a little buggy.

*You don't get the Nest IQ facial recognition which is very high tech. I'm not sure how important this is for an indoor camera. It's amazing for the Nest Hello doorbell.

*You don't get a monthly fee with the Wyze cam. You pay a fee for the Nest Cam IQ.

I can't believe this thing is so cheap and works so well. It has so many features like the big guys. Even the two-way audio is decent. If I had one complaint, it's that the motor that rotates the camera is a little loud. I'm still giving this 5 stars. I guess its sensitivity to sound is a little high too.

It seems like it's too good to be true. If you are looking for an indoor security camera, you found it.

TIP: I am using this SD card in the camera and it's working fine. Inexpensive and does the job if you want local recording - . Silicon Power-32GB High Speed MicroSD Card with Adapter - New Edition

NOTE: In the video, I have the camera attached to a mini-tripod. The camera has a standard screw mount for a tripod. You can get a little tripod for around $10. I like it because it raises the camera a bit and provides some extra stability, decreasing the chance it can be knocked over.

----- 07/2019 HERE ARE SOME ANSWERS TO COMMENTS PEOPLE HAVE LEFT BELOW ----

- Yes, it will continue to do its cloud recording when you have an SD card installed. There is an "events" tab on the main page of the app for the clips. You can also open a specific camera and tap "view playback" to see the continuous recording. When viewing on the SD card, there is a delay as it loads up the video. For example, you scroll the time line back 8 hours then there is a 3-4 second delay as it loads the chunk of video around that time. Once it loads, you can move back and forth in it instantly.

- I am going to say my 32GB card is getting a little over 3 days recording in a room with only light activity. I can't speak to how that time grows as you increase the size of the card. I'm not sure if 64GB would get you 6 days. Seems like it would though.

- To the person that thinks the app is useless, I'm sorry to hear you are having such troubles. I think the app works well on my Android phone (I don't know about iOS). However, I do believe that those kinds of things can happen. It's not a perfect app and they are adding features which can introduce bugs. Considering the cost of this camera, the app is phenomenal but some people are going to have problems. Hard to predict.

- The other app question about it being efficient - yes, it works much better than those other cheap camera app. There is about a 2-3 second delay before it brings up live video. I'm not experiencing freezing. However, that is heavily dependent on the network in your home and the network you are using on your phone when you access it (e.g. mobile, slow WiFi, etc.).

- I'm not sure about the comment about not auto-rebooting when you lose WiFi? I'll say that the cameras survive power failures perfectly. We just had a three hour one last night. Booted right back up. I have reset my network periodically which causes my WiFi to go down for about a minute and the cameras come right back online.

I'm still using this one and the regular Wyze cam. I still think these are SHOCKINGLY good values. I feel like I wasted so much money on my Nest cam. I should sell it and buy 5-6 Wyze cams.

WiFi Camera-1080P Security Camera System Wireless Camera Indoor 2.4Ghz Home Camera with 2 Way Audio Night Vision, Auto-Cruise, Motion Tracker, Activity Alert,Support iOS/Android/Windows Review:

Pan and tilt and audio for this price? YES PLEASE! I just wanted a cheap IP camera to put in my shop to remotely keep an eye on it, like to check if I left doors open or lights on, etc. Setup was very easy, just installed the app, setup a password, then added camera to the Android app. The wifi setup was surprisingly easy, when you add a camera, just select which wifi network to use and enter in its password, then the app uses your phone/tablets speaker to produce some audio that the camera hears. The audio has data encoded with your wifi network name and password, like an old modem or fax sound. Then camera connects to wifi and a few seconds later it was streaming to my app. I like this approach since your wifi info is not sent out to any servers over the internet.
Picture is good and even when streaming HD, its smooth with little lag. With its near 360 degree rotation, I was able to put it in the middle of my shop and see just about every square inch of it. I don’t make use of the motion tracking, auto scanning, etc. But played with them a bit and they worked pretty good for the little time I spent with them. I really like the night vision. I can see the smallest of lights on equipment that I left on by mistake. One note, I made the mistake of installing the app on my wifes phone, cause now she can spy on me and tell me to come back inside when I’ve been out there too long.

[New 2019] FullHD 1080p WiFi Home Security Camera Pan/Tilt/Zoom - Best Rated Smart App, Work with Alexa - Wireless IP Indoor Surveillance System - Night Vision, Remote Baby Monitor iOS (Black) Review:

The Morvelli FHD22 camera is not the first Wifi camera I purchased , but it is certainly very easy to install and further configure.
Installation was easy and without problems. Internet connection can be established via WLAN ( Wi-Fi ) or LAN ( Ethernet ). I downloaded the application and followed the instructions from the manual to quickly connect it. There were no error messages, and no special technical knowledge was required.

Picture quality:
The image quality is excellent. It has two levels of resolution (standard and high) and the ability to scale. Standard resolution is very beneficial for recording more video hours on a memory card. The camera automatically switches to night mode in low light conditions, which happens with the click sound.

Sound:
In the Smart Life app Life has a button, by clicking on which you can hear what is happening at the place where the camera is located. The application has another button where you can talk. The speaker is amazingly good. Conversations are also possible.

Application quality:
Download, create a free account and set up your camera quickly and easily. The application is clear, there is everything you need, it works very well. You can move the camera 355 degrees left / right and 155 degrees up / down.

Video / photo recording:
You can record live on your mobile phone or use a microSD (TF) card or cloud service. Everything works fine.

Minuses:
The only disadvantage of this camera is the lack of a standalone PC / Mac application . However, it is possible to install the application through the emulator Android.

Results: if you are looking for an inexpensive camera that can be used for various purposes, this is what you need. This is definitely the best Wifi camera I have ever bought.
