The Saucony Ride shoes were adorable, however the youngster had a hard time putting them on by himself because the shoe opening was so small. He was discouraged to put on his shoes and refused to wear them as a result. These shoes were purchased to encourage him to desire to put on his own shoes. It worked perfectly! He has been abiding by the regulations regarding when it is inappropriate to have the squeaker on, and it is fantastic that the squeaker can be turned off. He is once again thrilled about putting on his own shoes and enjoys controlling things by himself. Would strongly advise. Just keep in mind that the squeaker will be damaged if you wear these shoes in the mud, water, or sand, so you should have a spare pair on hand. I wish these shoes were available in half sizes. My three adult GSDs all like chewing, but they've learned to restrict their chewing to specific objects. They loved them as soon as I gave them to them, especially the duck. They are 4 years old and up, yet despite the fact that they could chew them up, they don't. Although I wouldn't suggest these for puppies, older dogs adore flipping them up in the air to discover the squeak. My German Shepherd Dog prefers this ball over all others. The squeaker broke really soon, which is the negative part. The squeaker broke rather soon, which is a plus. There are no marks on either ball, and he is an 85-pound shepherd who is extremely tough on toys.UPDATE: I now own three of these balls (2 large and 1 medium). The most recent one has a medium size so that it will fit in the chuckit thrower. Once more, the squeaker broke in a matter of minutes, but my dog didn't seem to mind. Retriever with a flat coat. 3 years. When we returned from the SPCA, Ranger's first toy was this one, and I've had him for a year. He plays rough with it, but he won't destroy it. Kind bit ragged after a year, but still had the squeeker. I appreciate that it doesn't squeak excessively or loudly. He's receiving a new one for Christmas from me!Update!!! Ranger has more size and power. Even after he's ripped it open and removed the squeaker, he still uses it to play tug of war with the neighbor's dog every day. My living room looked like an explosion of stuffing and twine after my dogs had the thing for two hours. literally the kill zone for toys. not these toys though. I've seen kids try their hardest to take these things apart, yet even the squeakers are still functioning (even if we wish they would get damaged and stop working, lol). And thus far they are unable. Our female is a petty turd of revenge. When she's had enough of our male wrecking havoc with them, she'll typically take off with one and purposefully shred it up. She is vicious. She can't, though, with these. I am aware that they are passing away. However, they have outlasted any other toy we have purchased and paid far more for. There are three of them. You can bet your bottom dollar that we'll keep purchasing this bundle. For dogs who adore toys but quickly destroy them, it is well worth it. My dog adores crinkle toys so much. He has a dragon toy that just has a crinkly tail, which is obviously his favorite feature. So when I spotted it, I bought it right away, and he wouldn't put it down. He asked me to throw it for him after running all over the place and shaking it with a "crrk crrk crrk" sound. The ONLY downside is that it isn't strong enough to withstand him chewing on it after he settled down. Therefore, whenever we play with it now, I put it up and bring him something that is better suited for those tiny teeth.It's not a chew toy, you geniuses who are downgrading this. It's a plaything. My boys adore this alligator, especially my oldest dog!! He is a squeaker matts fiend! This alligator kills the victim! In all seriousness, squeaky enthusiasts will enjoy this toy. The toy will ultimately stop squeaking if your dog is anything like mine, but to us both, it is the whole purpose. A good squeaky mat makes him work much harder to pull them out, which takes days or weeks as opposed to five minutes. It's actually the fourth one I've bought for him, but the first three are still around because they make a terrific toy even without the squeakers. My young son enjoys using the empty ones to play tug of war with him. The cost is really reasonable! In general, I really enjoy the Kyjen line of dog toys, but this particular model ranks among the finest. As with any toy, you must keep an eye on playtime and ensure that your dog spits out any bits rather than ingesting them. My floor is a constant source of toy fluff, which is a testament to how much I love my dogs. Strongly advised! In addition, although I would classify my guys as heavy chewers, they enjoy taking their time with Mr. Gator. These were once readily available in stores, but I had to hunt them out online after the last one I owned appeared to be nearing the end of its useful life.These are OUTSTANDING, and I have medium-sized dogs. These things have outlived and amused EVERYTHING ELSE, and I am indulgent and want them to have enjoyable toys!A male and a female Maltipom are my littermates. For both of them, this is the preferred option. The male eventually mastered it after a year or two, but the little girl could squeak it with good rhythm first. I believe this is a baby stand-in for the young girl. She takes it up, seeks for it, and carries it from room to room while protecting it. Sam (the girl) rushes to get one and waits for my husband at the door when he gets home at night. She feels compelled to reveal it to him despite not wanting to give it to him. Max, the boy dog, occasionally likes to squeak it, and I'm sorry to tell that he also enjoys taking it away from his sister to be obnoxious. She is upset by this. We must have six or more of these in various colors, but they both seem to be interested in just "the" one at the time.Even the really ancient ones with barely any remaining fuzzy are cherished.
