Adams Plus Flea & Tick Shampoo with Precor, 24-Ounce, Blue Review:

A fantastic purchase that I'm happy I made.first purchased oral medications. No luckOnce more, apply the second purchased liquid on the cat's neck. No luck.bought this, and it was excellent! After the bath, all of the fleas immediately landed on the face. After my two cats calmed down, I removed a ton of fleas that were only present on their faces (I did not use this method on their faces). I found no fleas on them the following day. They had fur that was both extremely silky and shiny. are still! It appears as though they visited a professional hair stylist! The pump bottle is also excellent. especially when you need to grab soap quickly while bathing a cat. And the bottle is huge!

Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Flea and Tick Shampoo for Dogs and Cats, 16 oz – With Pyrethrum to Kill Fleas and Ticks On Contact – Cleanses and Exfoliates Review:

I applied this to both my cat and my dog. Due to her extreme sensitivity to flea bites, my cat will scratch until her fur begins to shed. Despite the fact that she dislikes water in general, my dog doesn't care either way. I bathed them both, and I was pleasantly delighted by the shampoo's aroma. My nose has no problem with it at all. It didn't seem to bother either animal, and it doesn't have the same effect as washing your animals with soaps that smell like chemicals. Both of them slept soundly that night, as far as I could tell. Additionally, they don't smell strongly of chemicals, which was welcomed by all.Strong lather, pleasant smell, and reasonable pricing make it a good choice.

Adams Plus Flea & Tick Shampoo with Precor for Dogs and Cats Review:

For more than a month, I've been struggling with a terrible flea infestation. Every other day, I give my dog and cat baths using Dawn dish soap and the shampoos they usually use (Wahl for my dog and Furminator for my cat), and I've even taken them to the groomer for a flea bath. I treated each of them with a topical medicine (Frontline for my dog and Advantage II for my cat). I've virtually daily swept, mopped, sprayed pesticide and IGR, washed everything, and it still seems like I'm losing the war. Even after giving them a bath, I would still find thousands of fleas on their bodies, and my poor creatures are clawing themselves to a raw state. As they surely do for my hands, I'm sure that all the baths and chemicals are drying out their skin as well.I must admit that my pets enjoyed using this shampoo. I used Dawn dish soap to wash my pets for five minutes, then washed. I then did it again with Adams shampoo (5 minute lather and rinse thoroughly). The lather on the shampoo was excellent. I used just 3 tablespoons of shampoo for my 15-pound dog and 2 tablespoons for my cat as directed. I had doubts that the amount of shampoo would be adequate, but because it was so thick, it was more than enough. The rinsing carried fleas away in the air. The aroma is delicate and powdery, and it makes me think of the standard shampoo used by the groomer. After washing, their fur nearly had an oily residue, which is probably hydrating for their dry skin.***UPDATE***: Three weeks later I've been bathing my pets every week since I started using this shampoo exclusively (with a 5-minute soak). I reapply the same brand of topical flea/tick medication after a month had gone. My cat has only had the topical on for 48 hours, whereas my dog has had it on for approximately a week. Only a few fleas on each of them after I gave them a third bath with Adams shampoo. The water runs red from all the flea debris on my pets every week when I give them a wash, but this time the water was pure! Since there hasn't been any scratching and itching this week, I can tell the shampoo is effective. Additionally, their coats appear to be lot softer and healthier. The white coat on my dog is brilliant and fluffy. They continue to smell good well after the bath because the powder scent lingers for the entire week. Due to the enormous amount of cleaning, I reduced my weekly vacuuming and laundry of their bedding to once. This week, the weather plummeted below zero, and the gas heat has been on. I'm not sure if a single factor or a combination of factors has been making a difference, but what important is that the flea population is decreasing—finally!—and I know that humidity affects the growth of fleas. This shampoo is fantastic, but I would advise using gloves because it can be very drying to the hands. When you have both, it is a bonus that very few items are also cat and dog friendly.(4 months later) UPDATE So the flea problem is resolved! I think they left in late December or early January. After the previous update, I progressively cut down on the baths to every other week while continuing to give my pets their monthly flea/tick treatments. As I previously stated, I'm not precisely sure what worked, but I think this shampoo played a significant role in the answer! Because my husband and I adore this shampoo so much, I actually bought a lot of it!Updated seven months later: The flea infestation in our home has long since passed (THANK GOODNESS), but I still wanted to gush about this remedy. My long-haired Persian cat recently received a bath with this shampoo, and weeks later, he still smells wonderful! I also adore how it moisturizes his fur. His fur is full, velvety, and free of mats despite the fact that I didn't even use conditioner!

Hartz Flea & Tick Shampoos and Sprays Review:

In addition to another flea treatment (drops put to the dog's shoulder), I purchased this spray. This spray should be used in conjunction with a flea and tick product; I wouldn't advise using it as your sole form of treatment.Use 25–35 sprays, according to the label, for a small dog. In comparison to my (much larger) lab, who took a good 40 or 50 sprays in total, my tiny chihuahua was properly saturated after around 15 sprays. My two dogs and I split the bottle approximately halfway. Use outside or in a well-ventilated space as it has a strong odor. Just very perfumey, not overly chemical. It does aid in the removal of fleas; however, you must comb your dog's fur afterwards to eliminate the fleas that you see crawling out of it as soon as you spray your dog. I spent around two hours spraying and combing to get rid of the majority (if not all) of the fleas that were visible. I couldn't review its efficiency against ticks because I didn't locate any ticks on my dogs, and ticks aren't frequently found in the city where I reside. My dogs have not yet had fleas, but it is effective against them. I then gave them a bath.Additionally fantastic for use on carpet and pet bedding is this spray. The bottle directs you to mist the floor, beds, etc. until damp, then let it air dry. Insect growth regulators are the major active chemicals in this treatment, which helps stop flea eggs from hatching. To get rid of live fleas and ticks, you will still require a product. I was really happy that it didn't leave any stains on the rug because it allowed me to thoroughly spray the dog's bedding and the surrounding area. Although I'd be surprised if it genuinely provided protection for 7 months, this spray is effective if you're currently battling an infestation. Less eggs = fewer fleas, thus it's beneficial that it prevents flea eggs from hatching and fleas from being able to lay eggs!

Richard’s Organics Flea and Tick Shampoo for Dogs – 100% All-Natural Actives Kills Fleas, Ticks and Repels Mosquitos – Flea Shampoo is Gentle, Won’t Dry Skin, Great Smelling Essential Oils (12oz bottle) Review:

Since I have only used this once so far, I will update if my results alter.Because of our rural location, ticks and fleas are rife. We have a rat terrier, and we haven't been able to get rid of her fleas for nearly a month. She wears a flea collar, although I am aware that results may not be seen right away. I could see the fleas crawling on her while she was scratching and bleeding. To the point: It was successful! They were coming to the surface while I was shampooing her, and I was able to pluck them off. Some attempted to continue digging, but I added more shampoo, sat down, and massaged them, then I'd rinse, add more shampoo, and remove them. She presumably received the shampoo for at least ten minutes. She consumed a lot more than the bottle's suggested 5 minutes. I'm thrilled with this job. I shampooed her again if I saw any again, but I think I removed close to 20 fleas. When I was no longer able to see her, I rinsed her.Definitely, I would advise doing this. The essential oils function and are not overbearing.

Adams Flea and Tick Cleansing Shampoo, 12-Ounce Review:

We have been battling a flea infestation for months, which has made my cat uncomfortable. I sighed as I clicked add to shop after seeing this shampoo recommended on numerous places since I assumed it would be yet another dud. I received it today and made an effort to reassure my small friend that the bath would be worthwhile. My anticipations were modest. For the first time since the winter, my elderly cat is purring away on my chest and arm as I'm lying on the couch and writing this with one thumb. The shampoo not only got rid of the pesky eggs and fleas, but it also soothed his sore skin. Adams, thank you for being at the top of the list on all the websites, too!

Vet’s Best Flea and Tick Advanced Strength Dog Shampoo | Flea Treatment for Dogs | Flea Killer with Certified Natural Oils | 12 Ounces Review:

So I'm convinced that my small dog, a Shi Tzu/Yorkie mix, picked up an infestation when getting groomed recently. She had a lot of fleas when she got home, and she hasn't stopped scratching since. She was so uncomfortable that she was acting incredibly needy and rude. Nothing we attempted, including soaking her in shampoo and combing her out, working with apple cider vinegar as a home remedy, worked.I visited Amazon online and discovered this item. SINGLE WASH! She is now entirely flea-free and back to being her lovable self. It has been three days and I haven't even noticed her scratching. This item is FANTASTIC!

Sentry Flea & Tick Shampoo with Oatmeal for Dogs and Puppies Review:

I have three border collies on flea medications (frontline or advantage). Despite the precautions, some people still occasionally catch fleas, including one named Journey. He has sensitivities to chemicals, drugs, and food in addition to fleas. One flea causes him to develop red welts, lose some of his skin, and begin to flow pus within a few of days. I had absurdly many shampoos that I had tested on him. The ONLY product I've found that kills fleas and provides him with some form of relief is this one. Knowing that I've dealt with numerous animals, a friend recently got in touch with me concerning her dog. She had fleas despite several preventative measures, treatments, and doctor visits, and nothing was helping. I told her to use this shampoo, and a few days later she texted me to thank me since her dog finally seemed to feel better. So appreciative of this.

Fresh'n Clean Flea and Tick Small Pet Conditioning Shampoo, 18-Ounce Review:

The pricey flea medicine can be replaced with this shampoo. I have 7 chihuahuas, and buying flea drops every month is just too expensive for us, especially when they charge the same amount regardless of the size of your dog. For the most part, I use this item exactly as instructed. Although some dogs won't remain motionless for the full five minutes necessary for it to function, it DOES work. This actually performed BETTER than the flea medications we've tried in the past; the fleas remained away longer. The fleas get REALLY nasty where I live. I don't like that I have to wear gloves to use this because it says not to let it have skin contact(? ), but I will get over it because the product works as intended. Additionally, it does not leave my dogs with the pleasant scent that some other reviewers claim it does, but it is not a huge concern when I don't have to worry about those awful little pests eating up my puppies. The majority of my canines weigh 5 pounds or less; the largest is 10 pounds, and the smallest is at most 3.5 pounds; and none of them had any negative responses or consequences from the shampoo. I'd suggest this thing to you!
