To complement the other furnishings in our kitchen, I purchased this mat in black. I enjoy it. Most of the time, it is effective. Although our large breed dog is a hot mess when it comes to feeding/drinking, the lips are tall enough to limit water and food spillage inside the mat area. Our floor still gets a little muddy since she will occasionally wander away from the mat while dripping water or dropping kibble, but this is not the product's fault.The only problem I have with this product is how quickly it becomes filthy. Perhaps because I bought it in black, but it quickly gathers dog fur, dust, and disgusting food/water residue. Cleanup is manageable though. I just rinsed it in the sink after placing it there with some dish soap. Additionally, the material feels quite sturdy. Overall, I think this mat is wonderful and would buy it again.

This was a lightning sale that led to an impulsive buy. This turned out to be a wise investment, unlike many impulsive purchases. Although our wood laminate floors are resistant to water damage, keeping up with Ox and Bailey, our two beagle boys, is difficult. Ox drinks like a horse, guzzling water everywhere. I keep an old bath towel in a little basket a few feet away from my favorite water dish as a decorative, vain attempt to cover up the fact that the towel is worn out and visible in my living room.I had been using one of those tiny cotton-synthetic mats that you can get at the drug or supermarket store to protect my floor. Not horrible, but not fantastic either. Every now and then, after using the towel to dry the floor, I would discover one of them to be completely drenched. Additionally, I pondered whether Ox would yank this item out from under the bowl, causing a quart of water to fall onto the wood floor, so that he could race off with it and rip it to pieces. (He thought about it, and I had to be watchful for about a week.) But now he has accepted it permanently as something that isn't a chew toy in his life.I am quite happy. Water doesn't pour over the edges of the mat; I wipe extra sloshed water off of it once or twice a day, but I seldom ever see the water leave the mat's boundaries. These trays are great. The two cat feeding stations we have use them as the ideal pet trays. Even better, when they start to generate kibble sludge by splashing water all over the dry food nuggets, it is simple to pick them up and transport them to the sink for quick cleaning. little, but the image was flawless. Check out the numbers. Don't look at the images or you'll fall for the same trick I did. My assistance took the items out of the box, took off the tags, and threw the box while trying to assist me (I'm disabled and I know they meant well), so I can't really return them without a lot of trouble. Since my dogs are big, their bowls won't even come close to fitting on these, LOL. I'm unsure of their current purpose. As far as I can tell, they appear to be of decent quality, save from the size, and the designs are adorable and easily readable. Although I don't know if it was intended or not, their pictures were misleading, therefore I put I like because the size was my own mistake. I should have read further to be clearer, though.
