I just bought a brand-new car. She was 9 years old when we acquired her, and after a year of attempting to break her of the habit, I gave in. When I'm driving, my enormous, pitiful bloodhound, who has a bulldozer-like temperament, likes to stand on the center console and slobber on my shoulder. She bulldozed the tubular partitions that support the roof and the floor with her large, floppy head. despite how much I tried to wrench it down. The only one that works is the wire divider. I suppose in part because it resembles a kennel door and in part because it is connected to the headrest extremely securely. There is no moving this. Additionally, the side extenders stop her head from trying to wedge itself over like it would with tubular dividers by getting around corners. On the down side. Although a pain to set up, it is worth it. Now that he has been adequately stopped, my dog can only look at me in the rearview mirror with sad, floppy puppy eyes. She is also aware of this. Every time I glance in the mirror, we are in close proximity. She is, nevertheless, considerably safer there. I am certain that she will be secured and confined in the case of an accident.

When I am driving by myself, I let our miniature dachshund sit in the front passenger seat. However, if my husband rides along, he doesn't like "Robi" to sit in his lap and Robi, who is spoilt, doesn't enjoy sitting in the back. I used both of the RAV4's wings to fully fit this dog barrier in the rear. Although it takes a few more minutes with only one person, it went together quickly. No equipment was required. It has a good appearance and feels strong. I still have access to my rear-view mirror and can see my dog. I used to have a tube-shaped barrier with posts that reached all the way to the ceiling. I had to use bungee cords to anchor the barrier to the back headrests because the posts quickly fell apart. I'm hoping this one goes on longer because I enjoy the lack of posts.

We were able to set up my 2018 Grand Cherokee quite well. I would suggest making several hooks to attach to the head rests as one suggestion. Although they included a pair of long and short hooks, the end was too little to fit our headrests. We have a headrest style that is different from the standard metal adjustable ones. The reason they are thicker, made of plastic, and non-adjustable is because the head rests protrude too much when the chairs are lowered. Only the metal kind were intended for these hooks. It was a bit of a challenge, but we managed to make it work!Other than that, it fits perfectly and looks fantastic. fulfills its function. And I unquestionably endorse them!

A fantastic purchase overall for my 2003 Nissan Xterra. My 65-pound pit bull is safely contained in the truck's back thanks to its tight fit.I only gave it four stars because I struggled to firmly set the vertical bars. Even after tightening, the screws were unable to latch onto the bars. This, however, was not a functional issue. My dog has not been able to get past the barrier, which is effective.The bars are sturdy, not fragile as others have said. Because of his separation anxiety, my dog panics whenever I leave him alone. I left him in the truck's cargo section twice with the bars in place, and neither time could he get through. This will probably continue to serve my needs well, in my opinion.A six-month updateThis barrier is still effective after six months. To prevent dogs from getting in the front seat, I don't utilize a barrier. My dog is kept out of the cargo in the back using a barrier. Both solutions would function in a Jeep Wrangler. The smaller size is virtually ideal, while the narrower one would likely be sufficient. This is installed in a 2016 Wrangler Sport 2-door, but I don't see why it wouldn't work just as well on the majority of other Wranglers.I fastened this to the roll bar at the top and the seat rails at the bottom with bungee cords. Small lashing straps or an equivalent item might also be useful. The barrier may slide alongside the seats thanks to the bungee cords. With a little more work, I could remove the speaker box, move the wires forward on the bar, and then reinstall the speaker box, but this is sufficient. Anyhow, we prefer to keep the seats slightly reclining.The top aluminum rod is an essential component of every barrier like this. Although I missed it in the description, I'm delighted it's there. The straps have a lot of adjusting options.This is not something I would suggest for a dog that would rip at the screen to get through it, and I most certainly wouldn't suggest it for cats. It's ideal if your dog respects boundaries like mine does.
