The Ringer - The Original Stainless Steel Cast Iron Cleaner, Patented XL 8x6 Inch Design Review:

This doesn't have to be any bigger. This is the ideal size unless you have freakishly enormous pans and/or hands. The scrubbing surface will be reduced to about the size of a quarter if you ball it up before using it, and some links will protrude irregularly from the wad. This will definitely scratch the pan and remove the seasoning.Alternately, do this:1. Just as you would if you were using salt and paper towels, a nylon scrubby, or whatever you've been doing, scrape the largest chunks out of the pan first using a spatula. After that, place the pan in the sink and fill it with warm water.2. In the bottom of the pan, spread The Ringer out FLAT. Put a flat hand on it. Gently swish it around. Up and around the sides, swirl it. It is sufficient to lightly press it while moving it back and forth and all around without exerting much pressure.3. Continue swishing it around with your flat hand or fingers until you can't feel any more lumps despite the fact that you can feel the crusty bits. If necessary, drain the water and rehydrate it once or twice.4. After that, take The Ringer out and use your fingertips to feel the pan. All is well if it feels smooth throughout. If not, reposition The Ringer within and give it another swish.5. Drain the water, rinse the pan, and examine it once it feels smooth to the touch. There could still be some material there that your fingertips failed to detect. Then repeat steps 2 through 5.Following that, flip the pan over so it is upside down in the sink. On the bottom of the pan, add a drop of dish soap. Clean the pan's handle, bottom, and sides from the outside. Rinse everything thoroughly, then pat everything dry. If you've done everything correctly, the interior of the pan should be free of any stuck-on food, but it will still be slightly oily. To dry it off, I use a paper towel. On the burner, place the pan. Then, using another paper towel, rub a tiny bit of lard, coconut oil, or shortening all over the INSIDE of the pan to give it an extremely thin coating. Heat it for a minute to ensure that it is totally dry. Finally, place The Ringer in one of the silverware slots in the dishwasher. It will be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for usage again.Voila. Your pan is ungreasy on the outside, clean, and the seasoning hasn't been washed off of it. (Simply remove the shortening or oil protective coating from the pan's interior before using it the following time. Simply wipe it off with a paper towel; there's no need to wash it).

Amagabeli 8"x6" Stainless Steel Cast Iron Cleaner 316L Chainmail Scrubber for Cast Iron Pan Pre-Seasoned Pan Dutch Ovens Waffle Iron Pans Scraper Cast Iron Grill Scraper Skillet Scraper Review:

This little device is among the best things I've ever bought. I recently purchased a grill with cast iron grates, and I initially thought this was going to be a nightmare. I used this device on my grates after I had cooked hamburgers, and the grates stayed in clean for several days until I received this in the mail. I took my dirty grates to the kitchen, and with just warm water and this useful device, it tore through all the crusty burnt-on stuff like magic. It was so simple The grates were smooth and undamaged when I rinsed them out, and the protective oil from when I had scrubbed them thoroughly before using them to cook was still on them. I also prepared Brunswick stew in my large 18-quart pot, but I was lazy and put it in the dishwasher (which I hate and hardly ever use). I reached for the SOS pad in the hopes that it would remove the bits from the bottom and leave my pot sparkling clean, but to my dismay, it was not clean but rather hard and stuck to the bottom. I thought, "Why not try my new gadget on the stainless steel wow with warm water and a dab of dawn it took that baked on mess right off and no harm to my pot and shiny never will I buy another box of SOS pads." a need in every kitchen.

GreaterGoods Cast Iron Chainmail Scrubber, Easy on Your Hands, Dishwasher Safe, Cleaner Scraper & Scrubber for your Cast Iron Skillet, Wok, or Pan Review:

This is the best cleaning tool I've ever used for cast-iron items. When using warm water to rinse doesn't work and I don't want to use soap, I'll usually use this to easily remove any particularly stubborn particles. No more need for hard work or unpleasant scrubbing! The fragments on the pan can easily be removed by circling them in warm water a few times. I've only ever had to clean the pan with soap and water if I neglected it for a few hours (or overnight, if I'm a horrible skillet parent) or if anything got severely burned while being baked at temperatures of 450°F or higher.

Blisstime Cast Iron Cleaner, Premium Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber , Upgrade Review:

Love those cast iron cookware? Are you sick of trying to figure out how to clean them while preserving the incredibly valuable seasoning? Well, worry no more since this is the solution. For some reason, after a friend let me use his on a camping trip, I put off buying this bad boy for a time. I suppose I simply had the attitude of "Meh, I can clean my own pan without some device." Since my collection of cast iron cookware is expanding, the "old school" methods I was using to clean the pans were taking way too long.I finally purchased the Lodge L10SK3 Pre-Seasoned Skillet, 12-Inch, XL (which is more than enough to clean my smaller pans up to our 15" "Big Mamma").We'll use the hottest possible tap water to clean, a pan that has been **cooled down**, and a mild scrub with the XL chain mail. You don't have to press incredibly firmly. Simply move in small circles to remove any stuck-on pieces. The pan will then be fully dried before being lightly coated with vegetable oil and being heated again on the stovetop or in the oven to "set" the fresh coating of oil.Everyone has a different cleaning "tradition" and method for their cast irons. Discover what works best for you and your pan, and as long as you don't "wash" your cast iron with any kind of "detergent," you should be fine. You must keep in mind that, at the end of the day, these are just pieces of cast metal that people have been using to prepare food for generations. They are resilient, and as long as you show them some affection, they will return the favor.

GAINWELL Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber Steel Cast Iron Cleaner 4in Review:

I completely messed it and let my cast iron skillet go perma-funk. Both soaking it and brushing it hard didn't move it. My skillet is now 90% back to normal, which I'll accept, and yes, it took some elbow grease sprinkled with high aspirations.I simply swished the scrubber around in my sink while rinsing it off with very hot water. (Read a review that said these scrubbers behave strangely.) Bonus! My stainless sink had a lot more luster! Naturally, I gave both sinks a thorough cleaning and was happy with the outcome. It is MUCH simpler and faster to use a stainless cleaner or Brillo pad. This is roughly the size of a pot holder and functions effectively without bunching up or spreading out excessively. This is highly advised.

The Cast Iron Lover Cleaning Kit – Clean Cast Iron Skillets, Pots & Pans 10X Faster, Safer & Easier w/Longest Lasting 316 Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber & Silicone Scrubber Dish Gloves Review:

These gloves are really awesome! If you have small hands like I have, you run the chance of them coming off because they're heavier than usual, but while I'm wearing dish gloves, I'm actively moving my hands, so I'm not experiencing this issue. I'm really tempted to wash the dogs with them, but I might need to get a different pair for that. I adore using these to clean the tiny, difficult-to-reach areas of a glass or aluminum water bottle. The metal scrubber will be fantastic for pots cleaning pans, but I haven't tried it yet because I usually cook in the microwave. Oh, but after I turn on the slow cooker, it'll be fantastic! I'm going to try it out by making some mac and cheese in the slow cooker! yay! If something goes wrong, I'll let you know, but thus far, I'm quite happy with it, and I do suggest it!
