I bought my condominium about eight months ago. The 21x24 kitchen counter is located close to the sink. There are many items we need for cooking and food/drink containers that cannot be washed in the dishwasher. This means that in order to dry our hand-washed items, we had to make the most of this area. I was using two mats and had been doing so for months before I discovered this product (that had overlap anyway so there was always this uneven part that was a pain in the neck). In the home we just left, the countertop was black, and the dish drying mat was black. My husband despises both the mat and the "dish mountain." I thus searched for a drying mat that would complement our marble surfaces.This mat works well. It is the typical size for a dish mat, big enough to dry everything you don't want to put in the dishwasher, etc.Although it won't exactly match, it still looks wonderful and blends in with the countertop even when there aren't any drying dishes on it. Although several others stated that this product needs to be prewashed with liquid detergent and tumble dried on a low setting before first use to prevent it from bleeding through on the countertop, Aceto's review from January 10, 2013 was the one that persuaded me to buy it.Although we hand wash select crystal vases, glasses, and fragile items, as well as pots and pans and extras that won't fit in the dishwasher, we typically wash the majority of our products in the dishwasher. I've had it for approximately two months and use it frequently. It is used moderately and is located on top of my tiny bar. Some of the rubber was bent when I first removed it from the packaging since it had been folded during transportation (and possibly while in the warehouse). The warping eventually resolved itself after a few weeks, however it is now barely noticeable. Overall, it's a quality commercial product that you may find in your local pub. The size is suitable. The bottom surface is sufficiently grippy to prevent slipping. Your shot glasses and bar utensils won't topple over. It's just an excellent product, so if it's warped when you open the package, don't worry about it.

I'm happy as can be with this dish mat. I use an in-sink drainer for my plates and cutlery, but I needed extra space for drying things like bowls, pots, knives, and glasses without having to set up a space for it permanently. Introducing the dishmat. When not in use, it can be folded up or hung over the towel rack in my oven before being set down on my counter. It absorbs a lot of liquid. My counter's underside is always dry. Additionally, objects placed on the mat stay put and don't move around. The color is neutral and the size is ideal. Nothing additional that I could have anticipated from this item comes to mind. Even the cost is excellent. Unquestionably five stars!UPDATE: It's been a little over a year since I started using this product. It's been tumble dried and machine washed numerous times. It still has a brand-new appearance and works just as well. It still has the high absorbency that first won me over, in my opinion.

A black Kohler Executive Chef sink was incorporated into our most recent kitchen renovation. Like any sink, it will become scratched through time and use. This is not an issue with a typical white or almond sink. The scratches are barely noticeable. Scratches are visible on my gorgeous black sink! I am very glad that I bought both the large and little OXO Sink Mats. My two sinks fit the mats wonderfully. The edges and several of the soft rubber feet on the underside are padded. Water and other liquids easily pass through the mat since the feet elevate it up by roughly a quarter inch. I don't fear that heavier pots and casserole plates will break the mats because they are strong and flexible enough to withstand that. In essence, they perform their intended functions quite well. They look good and I think they'll last a long time!

This mat is excellent. It is simple to pack away and roll up. Additionally, the pattern on it is fantastic for use with little items like lids and flatware. I also like the hue a lot!I also have one that is quite huge and occasionally difficult to store. Additionally, because they easily slip into the cracks created by the pattern on the opposite, items like lids and silverware stay moist.It may look like this mat might be a little flimsy, but it is not! It suffers from my rough handling (such as when I scrub it clean or throw knives or silverware at it). This is something I'll buy again and definitely suggest!

I was happy to find these drying mats at such a great price and ordered several of them because I had previously spent four times as much on other drying mats. I have some suggestions for making them as attractive and effectively reversible as feasible. If you're as particular as I am, the enormous white tag that is sewn onto each of them needs to be removed in order for them to be considered reversible because it is simply unsightly. I tried a few various approaches before settling on what I thought was the best. Apply a seam ripper to the task. By separating the sides of the tag, start in the middle where it is sewed. The secret is to stop this so that you won't even notice the spot because this leaves threads that, if tugged, will entirely unravel. Simply cut the threads in the middle, leaving two on each side. Gently tie a double knot on each side and cut the extra threads. Now that the mats are identical on both sides, you cannot tell where the tag was. The mats are also rather wrinkled because they were folded, but this will entirely level out in just about a day after being laid flat. You can now get mats that are almost exact replicas of those that cost three to four times as much! Oh, and they are the jumbo-sized ones, not the tiny ones that require a lot of them to complete the task.

Because it is made of silicone, this soap dish won't slip or slide around on a counter or in the shower, where mine are located. Since it is silicone, if it were to fall, it would not break or harm any materials on the floor (tile, wood, etc). It won't mold and is also quite simple to clean. My white tile shower and cream limestone shower both look excellent with the gray I have. It can trap water in your tile or grout, which can then support the growth of mold, if you don't periodically pull it out and clean underneath it. I've used a variety of soap dish holders, including bamboo, plastic, and stone. Some are decorative but not functional, while others are functional but not attractive. This is reasonable for both of them. Though it isn't fancy, it doesn't appear to be. I hope I never have to replace them, but if I do, I'd buy them again without a doubt.
