To prevent neck pain from staring down at my laptop and the external monitor screen that was resting on my desk, I wanted a monitor riser. I didn't understand that the placement of the wire vents on my desk would also require the monitor riser to be able to articulate. The articulation also made it simpler to set up both external monitors such that they were equally far from my eyes, which reduced the amount of eye movement required to watch across all three screens. Why I waited so long to complete this is beyond me. After I fitted the larger vertical uprights in the incorrect location, the unit just required a cursory glance at the instruction manual and took 6 minutes to put together. If not, it would have simply required 4. It looks nice, highlights my desk's already easy-on-the-eyes black tone, and lets me work quickly.

This is helping me remove my Thunderbolt dock from my desk surface, and it does it fairly effectively. Additionally, it makes the SD card slots and the headphone jack easily accessible.My only criticism is that the slot in the back could have been made a little bit larger to accommodate larger plugs. After mounting it, I needed to create some additional space by using a 1" spade bit. Everything improved after some minor plastic fragment removal. The jagged hole is hidden from view, hence the mission was successful. (I'm glad I put on safety glasses and a mask because during the process, debris rained on my face.)

The construction of this shelving unit is excellent. Everything was well-balanced. Since they are two independent components, you can modify how you want the item to stand on your desk. Some reviews from 2017 claim that the gaps are too small to accommodate 8.5 x 11 paper adequately, however it may have undergone some design changes since then. Since I had no idea what I was looking for, it took me a while to find this product, but once I did, I hoped it would be the right fit, and it is. Despite the fact that it is a dual monitor stand, I just use it for one monitor as well as other things like a lamp, a backup monitor, and a clock. My own mistakes contributed to my problem. It did take more time at first because I initially forgot that the shelf had shifted. Recently, I bought this shelf. The packaging is excellent; there is foam covering four sides of the box to preserve the interior wood. Since a screwdriver is included in the package, there is no need to purchase an additional item to assemble this item. It's incredibly enjoyable and simple to assemble for me as a woman (took about 10 minutes). The shelf can be assembled or divided into two sections, with the length being adjustable. There is only one thing I want to point out: a medium wood plate is missing two holes (suppose to have 2 holes both side because one side need to attach to the large plate and another side attach the small plate). So I screwed them normally after hitting the screw on the side without a hole until it became attached to the board (I've included a picture of the side without two holes also). However, everything is well overall. I adore it.

Outstanding small shelves! They may be slid together to make them narrower, and they fit together in a huge variety of configurations. incredibly straightforward and easy for you to setup. It took us less than 20 minutes to assemble. It has a lot of storage for its size. It would also function admirably in a bathroom for jars and soaps, or on a kitchen counter for bottles and spices. It's quite adorable! Since we had this shelf unit technology at our disposal, I got it for my roommate who was previously utilizing milk crates stacked on top of one another like a heathen. It has a lovely hue and feel, and I appreciated that it wasn't made of actual wood.My main issue is with assembling. Actually, the instructions are of no assistance. There are no clear markings on the panels to indicate which is which, and there are no measurements in the instructions to indicate which either. Simply saying "shorter" or "longer" is not really useful. After a half hour, I put everything together incorrectly and had to redo it. A whole headache, that. Even though the instructions (I believe) suggested to screw in the block-shaped part on both sides, the boards didn't have enough screw holes on one side to allow for it. I ultimately had to use only nails because I was missing a power screwdriver.But I really liked that a screwdriver was included with the item! But I had to apply it so frequently that I developed a blister from it on my fingertips, which was annoying, but it could just be my oddly thin, delicate skin. The corners of this unit are likewise strangely sharp; as I stepped over one, my foot was cut open. However, this could be yet another illustration of my oddly delicate skin. It's also evidence that I'm too clumsy to assemble anything of this nature.The unit itself is robust, has a large capacity for textbooks, and is adaptable. You can arrange books however you like! This shelf won't move as long as your screws (and homemade nails) are tight and secure enough. It can easily accommodate all the textbooks that caused her previous milk crate contraption to bow in some places. I was worried about the weight limit. I also had trouble getting that to happen naturally because of how the two components stack. There is a little gap where it may be out of alignment or where it may be necessary to raise the outside board by placing something beneath its legs. Along with needing to nail the item in because it lacked pre-drilled screw holes, that is another unpleasant element.Overall, though, I would certainly repurchase this item!
