Best Deodorants in 2020

Old Spice Deodorant for Men, Pure Sport Scent, High Endurance, 3 Ounce, Pack of 3 Review:

I have been using this Old Spice deodorant for over 20 years without fail. Many years ago I went through the trial and error of all the different types of deodorant from sticks, to gels, to sprays etc. This Old Spice stick is hands down the best of the best and explains why it has survived the test of time.

It smells great, goes on smooth, isn't wet, isn't greasy, doesn't stain your clothes, actually works and lasts all day. I will be using this stuff forever most likely... No need to change in my book.

Old Spice is Nice!

Gillette Cool Wave Clear Gel Men’s Antiperspirant and Deodorant 3.8 oz each 2-Pack Packaging may Vary Review:

My husband has used this for many years. He has sensitive skin and breaks out from certain deodorants. He has never had any rash from this. My husband sweats a lot BUT the dreaded “arm swamp sweat pit” has never once been an issue with him. This deodorant is that excellent!

Today I saw a “professional man” and when he reached up with his hand to stand up, all I saw was nasty armpit sweat pooling from his dress shirt. Not professional at all. My husband is a RDH, and I can’t even imagine him working on patients with nasty sweaty armpits. I always buy the 2-pack and ensure that he never runs out. I’ve even used it in my quest to find the right deodorant for myself and it was flawless.

Can’t say enough. Will NEVER buy anything else for my husband.

Speed Stick Deodorant for Men, Regular - 3 Ounce (4 Pack) Review:

I've been looking for a deodorant or anti-perspirant that won't ruin my clothes.
Some of the ones I've tried:
1. fresh anti perspirant: I still sweat and sometimes smelled and my clothes still ruined
2. axe anti perspirant: same issue as above
3. dove deodorant: I sweat (expected) and still smelled sometimes but at least my clothes not ruined
4. old spice deodorant: same as above

although #3 and #4 doesn't ruin my clothes, I sometime still smelled and that's not acceptable. This on the other hand has kept me from smelling sweaty and also doesn't ruin my clothes. I do have to say that I still sweat, but I find it acceptable as long as I still don't smell.

Regarding the smell itself, it's up to your preference, but I find it acceptable. Note that I say "acceptable" and not great because initially I find the smell to be too spicy and minty. It grew on me, so I am fine with it now, but I don't find the smell to be great initially, and even now just find it to be OK. still better than sweaty smell though. so still recommended!

Natural Aluminum-Free Deodorant Stick (That Works) Lavender/Eucalyptus - Stay Fresh All Day - Underarmed for Women & Men - Organic, Healthy, Safe, Non Toxic - Phthalate, Paraben, Gluten & Cruelty Free Review:

I’ve made the transition out of chemical deoderants and into natural/organic deoderants about 2 years ago. In that time, I struggled with trying to find a deoderant that can actually work with sweating and stink! Since I’m used to wearing natural/organic, my sweating has definitely decreased, however I still struggled with trying to find a deodorant and antiperspirant to help with a stink all day long. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars and countless trials to find one that will last all day. THIS ONE WORKS!! I can apply straight from the container without needing to blend with my fingers which I LOVE (most strong natural/organic deodorants require applying with fingers), the product applies smoothly and thin (you don’t need that much, but I do a couple swipes to be on the safe side), there is a light scent which is pleasant and minty smelling (from the eucalyptus), and best part of all, I can go the WHOLE DAY with only ONE application! Seriously, it’s a game changer!

A couple suggestions:

1. Make sure to hold the deodorant under your arm pit for a couple seconds to soften the stick, then slowly apply under your armpits. If you try too fast, you may cause irritation to your skin and you don’t want to deal with a rash.
2. If you’re transitioning from chemical to natural/organic deodorants, your pits are going to need a detox period to unclog your pores and cleanse the chemicals out of your system. Trust me it’s a rough process, but once it’s done, it will be worth it! You’re going to notice a major difference in sweat, smell, and most importantly, your health! Definitely do some research for detox periods. After that, you shouldn’t have a reaction to any natural/organic deodorants!

I hope this review is helpful for you! Honestly, it’s a great product from a great company who offers great customer service! Definitely try this! I hope this works for you as well as it has for me!

Old Spice Antiperspirant and Deodorant for Men, Long Lasting Fresh, High Endurance, Robust Greens Scent, 3 Oz (Pack of 3) Review:

I've used Old Spice High Endurance with the Fresh Scent for over a year now and nothing else compares. I naturally sweat quite a bit but with this it's like shutting off the faucet and whatever does leak thru smells amazing. And don't just take that from me, I constantly get compliments from coworkers, friends, and girls that I smell really good. This product leaves no marks or anything on clothing which was such a constant turn off for me with other deodorants because I mostly wear black and gray clothes. It lasts all day with no problem and even longer if you need to push it. In conclusion, buy this product and you won't regret it.

Dove Men+Care Deodorant Stick, Clean Comfort 3 Ounce (Pack of 2) (Packaging may vary) Review:

Dove deodorant is the best 'standard' deodorant you can buy. Dove quality and concern for 'irritation' that compares to the higher priced designer/natural/sensitive skin type deodorants.

If you are using anything else in this price range, stop and try Dove. Whatever scent appeals to you. Dove is far superior to the 'big brand' options you might currently be using. I've tried so many of them. Sticking with Dove deodorant. Not antiperspirant. Most people don't need antiperspirant. Perspiration is natural. If you generally aren't 'pitting out', then you are just concerned about odor and should buy deodorant.

I usually need a few days to a couple weeks 'adjustment period' to a new deodorant where I might have more perspiration than normal. Weird maybe since I only use deodorant, but it's a phenomenon I experience when I switch brands.

I've had less problems with irritation using Dove and have had no issues of BO. Many sites that review deodorants/antiperspirants will rank Dove among their best - and usually it is the only reasonably priced 'non-boutique' option. There is a reason for that. It's just that good.

Dump whatever big brand you are using and go Dove. If you are using a 'boutique' option, then give it if you want to save a little money. Otherwise, continue using your expensive deodorant. For people using big brands - SERIOUSLY - you should give Dove a shot to be your brand.

Native Deodorant - Natural Deodorant - Vegan, Gluten Free, Cruelty Free - Free of Aluminum, Parabens & Sulfates - Born in the USA - Coconut & Vanilla Review:

It’s pricey so don’t buy this product if traditional over the counter deodorants work for you. I tried one scent (lavender which was heavenly) but I broke out in a terrible rash. I contacted customer support and they mentioned I was apparently allergic. They mentioned that the other scents wouldn’t necessarily have the same effect. I was very apprehensive about trying another scent. I eventually tried Lume. No rash, scent wasn’t as good and for me it was less effective. There are plenty of choice out there. Don’t spend this kind of money unless you absolutely have to. I wish Native customer service would have offered to exchange the scent or send me a free small trial size of another scent to try. I actually had to go to a dermatologist to get rash resolved. So unless you absolutely NEED a strong, effective great smelling deodorant don’t spend your money here. For those of us who do NEED strong effective deodorant... here ya go!!!!

Lume Deodorant for Underarms & Private Parts 2.2 oz Propel - Jasmine Rose Review:

I decided to try Lume in lieu of my usual Dove deodorant that I've used for years, which wasn't lasting through the end of the day and tended to leave yellowish pit stains in my white tees after a while. Lume claims that its aluminum-free formula means it won't leave stains; I haven't used it long enough to say but I hope this is true.

As for odor control, it is effective throughout the day. You only need to use a tiny bit of product to cover your whole underarm area; if you squeeze out too much, it's really messy. Right after application, it feels sticky but after a few seconds it's virtually invisible and dry. I'd give it 5 stars, but I don't really care for the "jasmine rose" scent—it's not a deal breaker, but it's just not that pretty, and certainly doesn't smell like jasmine or roses.

Native Deodorant - Natural Deodorant - Vegan, Gluten Free, Cruelty Free - Free of Aluminum, Parabens & Sulfates - Born in the USA - Eucalyptus & Mint Review:

I have had issues with odor ever since I hit puberty a million years ago. I've dealt with embarassing odor and sweat. I have tried everything you can imagine to help the problem with no success. I decided to try native because, hey...why not? right? I showered Monday morning with the usual odor emanating even as soap still remained on my armpits. I applied Native. I forgot I was wearing deodorant until the next morning while I was applying it for the day I noticed...i didnt have any odor. I have been plagued all my life, i figured it was just my cross to bear in life. I am so happy I could cry. I am on day 5 of Native. I just told my sister, who has the same problem, about it. For those of us with real armpit odor problems, the price is of no consequence

Old Spice Aluminum Free Deodorant for Men, Swagger Lime & Cedarwood Scent, Red Collection, 3 Oz (Pack of 3) Review:

Even though I'm a woman I've always used Old Spice mainly because of my dad & because no woman's deodorant covers me like this. My ladies perfume covers the manly smell but to be honest I like the smell, it takes me home to my dad! Great product for helping with sweat also.
