In fact, the brush itself is virtually identical to the G.U.M. brush that my prior dentist gave me in every manner. Since some reviewers complained about the softness, I did some research online and found the following:Apply a small amount of denture paste or cream with a soft brush, and then thoroughly rinse your dentures with warm water (not hot). Apply a gentle brush. For cleaning dentures, a soft toothbrush or nailbrush is best.I think the brush cases that came with them are excellent value for the price of the brushes.

How shall I put it? My husband used the denture brush I gave him to wash the inside of the car windows. He didn't think to ask me what it was for; he just thought it was a cute tiny brush. He visited three pharmacies in search of the new denture brush I asked him to acquire for me, but he was unsuccessful. I had to get it from Amazon in the end, and I was quite happy with this one. He won't use this to clean the car now that he knows what it is and what it's for!

They must be speaking the truth, because my regular G-U-M brush fits within with enough of area to spare. It would seem that only a really huge brush or one with an unusual shape could fit. Obviously, I assumed it was compatible because I found this case advertised on the same Amazon website where I purchased my brushes.I purchased this to keep in my travel bag. This was essentially my only option; I wish there were more options available.I didn't realize there were two colors until I went back to post this review.
